UAVs are playing an increasingly important role in the field of wilderness rescue by virtue of their flexibility. This paper proposes a fusion of UAV vision technology and satellite image analysis technology for active wildfires detection and road networks extraction of wildfire areas and real-time dynamic escape route planning for people in distress. Firstly, the fire source location and the segmentation of smoke and flames are targeted based on Sentinel 2 satellite imagery. Secondly, the road segmentation and the road condition assessment are performed by D-linkNet and NDVI values in the central area of the fire source by UAV. Finally, the dynamic optimal route planning for humans in real time is performed by the weighted A* algorithm in the road network with the dynamic fire spread model. Taking the Chongqing wildfire on August 24, 2022, as a case study, the results demonstrate that the dynamic escape route planning algorithm can provide an optimal real-time navigation path for humans in the presence of fire through the information fusion of UAVs and satellites.

The main objective of this work is to propose a solution to observer design for triangular systems where additional output measurements are available, which may improve the estimation quality. In fact, such additional measurements prevent the standard high-gain observer methodology to provide solutions for the estimation problem. In this paper, motivated by this issue, we propose two novel observer design methods to handle the additional output measurements. The first one can be viewed as an extension of the standard high-gain observer by introducing a weighting matrix as a tuning parameter, while the second method, which can be viewed as an alternative method, exploits jointly the high-gain methodology and the LPV/LMI technique to overcome some limitations related to the first design method. The proposed methods are applied to a vehicle trajectory estimation problem using the well-known kinematic model. The efficiency of the estimation using both proposed methods and a comparative study between them are provided.

Reduce end-to-end latency, conserve energy, and balance network load are the three basic objectives of lightweight routing protocol. In this paper, we give a quick review of the IPv6 Routing Protocol for Low-Power and Lossy Networks-based routing protocols of VANET already in use and discuss their advantages and disadvantages. A vehicular ad hoc network (VANETs) is transforming public transport into a safer wireless network, increasing its safety and efficiency. The VANET consists of several nodes which include RSU (Roadside Units), vehicles, traffic signals, and other wireless communication devices that are communicating sensitive information in a network. Nevertheless, security threats are increasing day by day because of dependency on network infrastructure, dynamic nature, and control technologies used in VANET. The security threats could be addressed widely by using machine learning and artificial intelligence on the road transport nodes.
