Knife handling is one of the most important skills in cooking. However, it is difficult to practice the handling of a kitchen knife repeatedly owing to limitations in resources. To address this, we propose a highly realistic system using a haptic device and CT (Computed Tomography) data. This system allows users to practice knife handling in a virtual environment, providing force feedback that reproduces real-life situations. Our goal is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cooking training by enabling unlimited practice without the constraints of ingredients. © 2024 IEEE.

The trend for the need for at-home workout regimens and the potential for technology to support the trend is rising as remote employment becomes more and more common. One such activity that has benefits like increased flexibility and stress alleviation is yoga. Presently, numerous self-guided yoga courses in the form of pictures and videos are available online. Consequently, there is an urgent requirement for a system that can recognize and evaluate the precision of yoga posture execution in these instructional materials. In the current scenario lightweight prediction models are very much essential because devices like smartphones, edge devices, and embedded systems that have limited processing power or battery life, lightweight models are the best option as they require less resources to train and operate. One particular approach of making the recognition system lightweight is the use of keypoint-based pose/action classifiers. In this paper, a lightweight classifier for yoga postures based on neural network architecture using MoveNet pose estimation technique is proposed. Our model is able to classify the yoga postures by learning the human joints information in a efficient manner. © 2024 IEEE.

The proliferation of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) in various applications has necessitated the exploration of network architectures that can ensure efficient, scalable, and reliable communication. This study presents a comparative performance evaluation of traditional networking paradigms and Software-Defined Networking (SDN)-based architectures within WSN. Utilizing the Floodlight SDN controller and Mininet-WiFi emulator, we conducted a series of experiments across three different network topologies, varying the number of hosts and access points. The performance metrics focused on are average latency, packet loss percentage, and throughput. The results demonstrate a considerable improvement in all measured parameters under the SDN-based environment compared to the traditional setup. Specifically, SDN environments consistently showcased lower latency, minimal packet loss, and higher throughput, with the most notable difference observed in smaller network configurations. The findings suggest that SDN, with its centralized control plane, can significantly enhance the performance of WSNs, particularly in scenarios demanding rapid scalability and dynamic traffic management. This study underscores the potential of SDN architectures in optimizing WSN operations and lays the groundwork for future research in this domain. © 2024, Politechnica University of Bucharest. With the growing interest of researchers in the area of cloud computing, security emerges as a major area of concern. As the complexity of cloud environments grows and the dependency on cloud services deepens across various sectors, ensuring robust security measures is crucial. This study proposes an innovative approach to enhance cloud security through efficient workload scheduling strategies. Leveraging insights from existing studies on green cloud computing, clonal selection algorithms, and energy-efficient resource allocation, the research introduces a novel security-aware workload organizing algorithm. The proposed algorithm aims to optimize both energy consumption and security in cloud data centers. Through comprehensive simulations on the Cloud Sim platform, the results demonstrate the algorithm's efficiency in reducing energy consumption while fortifying security measures. Moreover, the present study contributes to the evolving field of cloud security, offering a promising avenue for shielding data in dynamic cloud environments. © 2024 IEEE.

A smart shopping trolley incorporates technology to improve the shopping experience by providing features such as automatic checkout, item scanning, tailored suggestions, and budget tracking, boosting efficiency and convenience while optimizing purchases. This paper presents a prototype for an intelligent trolley system that follows a human being and does automatic billing. Human followers leverage HC05 Bluetooth, HMC5883L Compass, and GPS Neo 6M. Automatic billing leverages RFID tags for the unique identification of the product. The absence of GPS sensors led to the adoption of a sonar sensor for human followers. The article unfolds innovative solutions and insights gained from navigating IoT complexities, costs, and environmental factors. This article will delve into the complicated inter-building of artificial intelligence and traditional skill of temple architecture of South India. People refer to the dark web as the anonymous part of the internet that is very hard to access, it has been described as lying some distance beyond the easily accessible surface web and more obscure deep web. This means that the dark web is accessed by using specially designed software, and it hosts all manner of illicit activities that present huge challenges to law enforcement. This section, known as the dark web, may only be accessed with the use of special designed programs, such as Tor. In this sphere of the net, it is feasible for both the user and the owners of any site to claim anonymity. The dark web is still notorious for offering illegal activities such as drugs markets, selling firearms, and providing services in cybercrime, though it is on the gray area of applying it towards journalists, social activists, and whistleblowers. But it is pretty much important to note here that the deep web or parts of the internet and the dark web are very much different things. In order to shed some light on how to overcome these challenges, we have come up with a custom web crawler specifically designed to work inside the Tor network, extracting data from various dark web marketplaces. In this paper, we will be focusing on the profiling of vendors according to categories and geographical origins, with an emphasis on operational patterns of these cloaked entities. To sum it all, our customized web crawler provides great insights about profiling vendors in dark web markets and categories where they originated. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, we proposed a genetic algorithm based on behavioral psychology developed by Carl Gustav Jung (16 Personalities model), in which we describe the person’s behavioral features related to his personality. The model used for inference is based on 40 years of psychology research and studies from the book "The 16 personality types that determinate how we live, love and work" by Otto Kroger and Janet M. Thuesen, published in 1988. To generate one’s personality model, we are using genetic algorithms. To improve the personality mode, we are reinforcing it using weight-based fitness functions with inference extracted from the HappyDB dataset. In this dataset, people around the world express the most valuable/happy moment in their life. We conducted experiments on 25 individuals by generating their personality models using the proposed method above and collected feedback about how precise and accurate the model was presented. We obtained a total accuracy of 80% based on user feedback about their personality. © 2023, Politechnica University of Bucharest. All rights reserved.

This paper presents a novel Maximize Bandwidth utilization and Multipath Routing for Congestion Control (MBMRCC) scheme designed to address congestion issues in MANETs effectively. The MBMRCC scheme integrates multipath routing with adaptive rate control to enhance data throughput and minimize packet loss. In MBMRCC proposed scheme, multiple paths among sources and destinations are established using for enhance the multipath on demand protocol ability in dynamic network. This Ad hoc On-demand Multipath Distance Vector (AOMDV) routing approach distributes the data load across more than two paths, thereby reducing the congestion on any established path. Concurrently, the data rate control approach is able to handle data transmission rate based on real-time network conditions, such as node mobility, link stability, and current congestion levels. Simulation results demonstrate that the MBMRCC scheme significantly outperforms traditional single-path routing protocol AODV and Multipath routing AOMDV i.e. existing congestion control mechanisms in MANETs. Significant performance metrics such as throughput, packet delivery ratio, overhead and end-to-end delay performance are network favorable. The adaptive nature of the proposed scheme ensures robust performance in highly dynamic and heterogeneous network environments, making it a viable solution for various MANET applications, including disaster recovery, military operations, and mobile social networks. The MBMRCC scheme's ability to efficiently manage network congestion and enhance data transmission reliability underscores its potential to enhances the overall performance of MANET. © 2024 IEEE.
