An innovative Android platform called Homie to help apartment owners and tenants communicate more easily and provide better services. Its main purpose is to make it easier for renters to share important papers with apartment owners directly, such as monthly receipts and utility invoices. It also allows tenants to file complaints online and guarantees that owners will respond to them promptly. Furthermore, Homiee lets renters easily reserve features like game rooms, function halls, and pool areas... Homiee uses Java and Android Visual Studio for programming, and Google Firebase is utilized for effective data management. This combination guarantees efficient tenant and owner information extraction and storage for effective data management, facilitating faultless tenant activity tracking and monitoring. With the help of an enclosed platform for tracking tenant activity and data tracking as well as security, Homiee bridges the communication gap that frequently exists between property owners and tenants. Tenant satisfaction and unit managing efficiency are improved as a result. By enhancing the tenant-owner relationship and offering a fully functioning platform for processes, Homiee provides a useful answer to the problems associated with apartment management. © 2024 IEEE.

Music mashups integrate elements from different songs to create surprising and engaging listening experiences. Typically, a mashup combines the vocal track of a base song with the instrumental tracks of complementary songs. Automating the production of mashups has been an area of research for decades. Traditional approaches utilize rule-based methods, such as matching tempo and harmonic similarity, to select optimal segments for mashup generation. More recent techniques leverage neural networks to classify segment compatibility. However, both approaches primarily focus on layering segments that are generally compatible, without ensuring their detailed integration and alignment with the vocal track. In contrast, we introduce a novel approach using Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) that learns to rearrange instrumental segments to better align with the base vocal track, resulting in more surprising and accurate music blends for mashup generation. Additionally, we conducted subjective listening tests to evaluate our generated mashups against a baseline model using the same song pairs and the original base songs, assessing our model's performance. Among the many industrial wireless solution candidates, 5G New Radio (NR) has drawn significant attention in recent years due to its capabilities to support ultra-high-speed communication, ultra-low latency, and massive connectivity. Despite its great potential, 5G NR also brings significant complexity in scheduling industrial data flows to meet their hard real-time requirements. In this paper, we first leverage a real-world 5G RAN testbed to benchmark the downlink throughput and explore the impact of modulation and coding scheme (MCS) selection on the network performance. We then formulate a real-time flow scheduling problem in industrial 5G NR, which features per-flow real-time schedulability guarantees through time-frequency-space resource allocation. We propose a novel two-phase scheduling framework, named 5G-TPS, to construct the schedule that meets the deadlines of all the flows. To adapt to dynamic channel conditions, 5G-TPS enables online schedule adjustment for affected flows to meet their timing requirements. To evaluate the performance of 5G-TPS, we present a case study of a motion control panel use case and perform extensive experiments. The results show that 5G-TPS can achieve schedulability ratios comparable to the Satisfiability Modulo Theory (SMT)-based exact solution and outperform many other state-of-the-art scheduling approaches, including the built-in 5G NR schedulers. © 2023 IEEE.

With the emergence of various techniques involved in deep learning the researchers of computer vision tends to focus on the strategies such as object recognition and segmentation of image. This has inclined to accomplish the deep learning techniques in 3D reconstruction of both specific and generic objects. As the space for reconstruction of 3D images either in single or multi view has envisioned the researchers to concentrate on the available technologies used for reconstruction. With the available built in methods and technologies in deep learning, the performance of the proposed methods were reviewed and analyzed using several parameters. As the remaking of 2D images is still in the beginning stage, it is important to study the 3D shape representations, various network architecture, methodologies and approaches behind 3D reconstruction. In this work a review of deep learning methods for single or multiple RGB images of specific and generic object 3D reconstruction was done. Several methods and their importance were also discussed along with the challenges encountered and with further research directions. Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a progressive neurodegenerative condition characterized by the death of dopaminergic neurons, leading to various movement disorder symptoms. Early diagnosis of PD is crucial to prevent adverse effects, yet traditional diagnostic methods are often cumbersome and costly. In this study, a machine learning-based approach is proposed using hand-drawn spiral and wave images as potential biomarkers for PD detection. Our methodology leverages convolutional neural networks (CNNs), transfer learning, and attention mechanisms to improve model performance and resilience against overfitting. To enhance the diversity and richness of both spiral and wave categories, the training dataset undergoes augmentation to increase the number of images. The proposed architecture comprises three phases: utilizing pre-trained CNNs, incorporating custom convolutional layers, and ensemble voting. Employing hard voting further enhances performance by aggregating predictions from multiple models. Experimental results show promising accuracy rates. For spiral images, weighted average precision, recall, and F1-score are 90%, and for wave images, they are 96.67%. After combining the predictions through ensemble hard voting, the overall accuracy is 93.3%. These findings underscore the potential of machine learning in early PD diagnosis, offering a non-invasive and cost-effective solution to improve patient outcomes. ©2024 IEEE.

A data-driven application, Yelp has always served and will always serve as one. It is one of the first companies that allows local businesses to receive reviews from their customers. Communities have always developed it in cooperation with each other. According to Yelp, the data-set contains information regarding businesses, reviews, users, and check-ins, and has continuously been updated since 2015. A project titled "Analyzing Yelp Open-Source Data-set in Azure Data Bricks"will analyze this data-set which has been made available as an open source for sentiment analysis and descriptive analysis. This study analyzes local business performance, business distribution, review ratings, and other factors, as well as check-in rates in American business locations over time. This analysis shows that the Yelp is losing reviews, tips, elite users, and check-ins. © 2024 IEEE.

Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs) have witnessed a remarkable surge in popularity across a diverse spectrum of applications, encompassing military networks and public wireless infrastructures. These networks, emerging as the cornerstone of numerous wireless communication systems, offer expansive wireless connectivity to a substantial user base. Despite these advancements, the inherent challenge of interference among nodes poses a significant hurdle, resulting in diminished performance for WMNs. The prevalence of interference within WMNs is a critical concern, adversely affecting their operational efficiency. The need to address this challenge is underscored by the imperative to optimize WMN performance. A pivotal step in this direction involves the development of channel assignment algorithms that are not only efficient but also effective in mitigating interference issues. Efforts to enhance WMN performance through advanced channel assignment strategies are paramount. By devising algorithms that intelligently allocate channels and manage interference, we can significantly elevate the overall efficiency of WMNs. This imperative undertaking is fueled by the overarching goal of ensuring seamless connectivity and robust performance in the face of escalating demands from various application domains. In summary, the increasing prominence of WMNs in diverse sectors necessitates a proactive approach in overcoming performance limitations. Through the implementation of sophisticated channel assignment algorithms, we can fortify WMNs, ensuring their continued role as a reliable backbone for wireless communication systems. © Grenze Scientific Society, 2024.

In recent years, the Sri Lankan tea industry has fallen behind its competitors in the global tea market. This decline is caused by the challenges in productivity and resource management due to the limitations of traditional crop monitoring methods. This study presents a prototype system architecture that integrates multispectral imagery and IoT technologies to enhance plantation monitoring. The proposed system uses drones to capture high-resolution multispectral images and IoT devices to collect real-time environmental data, providing a comprehensive approach to assessing plant yield and detecting stress. Built on a hexagonal architecture, the system emphasizes modularity, reliability, and scalability by ensuring a clear separation of core functionalities from external components. This design facilitates easy adaptation to various crop types and agricultural contexts, enabling flexibility in deployment and use. This flexible framework can serve as a blueprint for improving decision-making and management practices across diverse plantation environments. © 2025 IEEE.

Hypertension and stroke are significant worldwide health issues with high prevalence and complex health hazards. Hypertensive state implications include death or major complications such as myocardial infarction. This study leverages data from the Internet to foresee the prognosis for individuals with hypertensive strokes. There are two main components to the clinical outcome prediction in this study. The value of various variables is ranked by our model through the use of cross-validation techniques, recursive feature disposal, and classification algorithms such as Support Vector Machine (SVM), Random Forest (RF), and Logistic Regression (LR). Our empirical cross-validation results demonstrate the remarkable predictive reliability of both LR and RF once repetitive features are removed, even with a smaller set of features and classifiers. Particularly in terms of accuracy, F1 score, and area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC), logistic regression performs better than the other two classifiers. Likewise, we conducted independent prediction analyses for hypertension, hypertensive stroke, and stroke. The highest result of 96.15% is obtained using logistic regression for stroke prediction. The random forest classifier has an accuracy of 91.25% for hypertension, and combining stroke with a hypertension support vector classifier gives 91.72% accuracy. This demonstrates how well it might provide patients with hypertensive strokes with precise and trustworthy projections. Finally, our study illuminates the potentially useful prediction powers of particular algorithms in determining the prognosis of patients with hypertensive strokes. © 2024 IEEE.

Suicide remains a pressing public health concern worldwide, necessitating effective predictive and preventive strategies. Predicting suicidal tendencies is a complex endeavor, as it involves multifaceted interactions between biological, psychological, and environmental factors. Advances in computational modeling and machine learning have provided promising avenues for understanding and forecasting these tendencies. Such models often integrate clinical data, including psychiatric history, symptom severity, and demographic information, with biological markers and psychosocial variables. The objective of our work is to identify patterns and risk factors that may indicate heightened suicidal risk. Ongoing research seeks to refine predictive models, incorporate real-time monitoring, and develop targeted interventions, aiming to reduce the incidence of suicide and provide timely support to those at risk. The application of suicide text analysis extends to user-friendly interfaces, allowing individuals to input text, receive predictions, and access relevant support. The analysis involves preprocessing techniques such as text normalization, stop-word removal, and stemming to enhance the quality of input data. Various machine learning algorithms, ranging from Naive Bayes to sophisticated ensemble methods, are explored to determine their effectiveness in predicting suicidal ideation. © 2024 IEEE.
