This paper develops an implementation of a measurement and control system in which a vehicle follows its predecessor while maintaining a certain distance. First, we construct a model that virtually delays the reference coordinates of the leading target backwards, and propose a control law that follows the steering angle of the following vehicle to that virtual delay point. Next, a range sensor is used to detect the position and orientation of the leader, and the position and orientation is estimated using a template matching method based on the person's body contour point group measured by the sensor. Finally, the effectiveness (including robustness) of the proposed system is demonstrated in some simulations and human tracking experiments. © 2024 IEEE.

Leukemia, a cancer characterized by the rapid overproduction of abnormal blood cells, presents notable diagnostic and treatment challenges. Identifying leukemia subtypes promptly and accurately is vital for devising effective treatments and improving patient outcomes. This study proposes an advanced Inception V3 model optimized for the automatic identification of leukemia from microscopic images of blood smears. By integrating cutting-edge deep learning methods and a customized model architecture, this system differentiates between Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML), and healthy samples. The model benefits from preprocessing techniques like image resizing, normalization, and augmentation to enhance its performance. Through transfer learning, the Inception V3 model is fine-tuned on a rich dataset covering various leukemia subtypes. Experimental results demonstrate the model's high effectiveness, achieving 100% accuracy during training and 99.72% accuracy in testing, proving the system's reliability for automated leukemia detection. © 2024 IEEE.

Crop yield forecasting involves predicting the amount of crops that a farmer can expect from their field. This prediction is based on several factors, including soil type and environmental conditions. It is a crucial issue for the farming industry, which is the backbone of any nation's economy. Thanks to advancements in Artificial Intelligence, farmers can benefit from accurate crop yield estimations. This research study presents a Feed Forward Neural Network architecture that enables farmers to get accurate crop yield estimates and finally discusses about the implementation of the procedure and its outcome. © 2024 IEEE.

From small businesses to major corporations, Cloud computing is quickly taking over as the preferred platform. due to the obligation to guarantee that cloud apps are safe and can shield data from unauthorized attackers. According to the joint responsibility model of Cloud Security, organizations who utilize these services are also responsible for maintaining their degree of security while service providers are responsible for making sure that their services are safe. A shared responsibility Paradigm for identity and access management transfers part of the client's responsibility for application security. Setting up procedures for identity management and access control as well as carrying out ethical hacking and penetration testing are required to guarantee the greatest degree of data security. Since Cloud Security has developed into a shared duty between the user and the service provider, clients are now required to take accountability for the security of their applications in the cloud. IaaS and PaaS services are the major beneficiaries of this. Advanced security procedures like ethical hacking and penetration testing are necessary to provide a safe virtual environment. Organizations will be able to avoid harmful assaults and data leaks thanks to these efforts. Raising risk visibility, identifying vulnerabilities, minimizing risks, and gathering crucial telemetry data are the greatest ways to enhance security. The primary goal of this study article is to assess the techniques for designing a framework or checklist to identify associated risks & vulnerabilities while at the same time attacking cloud-based applications. As a consequence, malicious actors will be kept out of cloud-based programs. © 2024 IEEE.

In today's world, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its usage concerning human tasks have become an integral part of our daily lives. Humans depend upon AI to provide faster and more efficient solutions. In the world of medicine, where every decision made by a doctor, physician, or consultant directly impacts the lives of those being treated or diagnosed, AI is making its way to help efficiently provide such results as the intelligence of a human being. Healthcare systems around the world are now making use of AI to help provide humane solutions using algorithms and Machine Learning (ML). Fallacies or inaccuracies in the arena of healthcare can have horrendous outcomes for the patient on whom the procedure is being carried out. Sometimes, certain ethics could be traded off by the system, such as confidentiality, autonomy, justice, and biased decisions leading to false results and victim blaming, which directs the masses into not trusting AI-related healthcare solutions. This situation can lead to mishaps like 'AI winter,' where the public could start disbelieving the results of AI solutions. This survey review makes an effort to analyze and address these pertinent ethical issues underlying the requirement for algorithmic translucency, concealment, and safeguarding the interests of all those involved. © 2024 IEEE.

Music mixing is a process that involves fine-tuning the levels, dynamics, and frequency content of musical elements to ensure clarity and harmony in the final music production. In this paper, we present an automatic mixing system based on diffusion models to correct imbalances in music mixes. We manipulate the well mixed stems' short-time Fourier transform randomly to simulate the frequency and level imbalances commonly encountered in real-world scenarios. The difference between the imbalanced mix and the original mix is treated as noise for the diffusion model to predict, enabling the reverse denoising process to generate an automated mix. We evaluate our model's performance by calculating the signal-to-distortion ratio between the original and predicted mixes. These results are compared with baseline automatic mixing models, demonstrating significant improvements. Test set results in audio: https://***/diffmusicmix/ © 2024 IEEE.

This paper explores the resource allocation optimisation of New Radio Physical Uplink Shared Channels with an emphasis on the effective implementation of Phase Tracking Reference Signals and Demodulation Reference Signals in 5G networks. Understanding how important these reference signals are to dependable communication, we created a Python framework to model and display their distribution on a time-frequency grid. By carefully modifying important factors including mapping type, PRB allocation, and symbol allocation, our method greatly increased resource efficiency, decreased overhead, and improved signal quality. The results show how sophisticated resource allocation techniques may be used to maximise system performance, providing important information for the creation of more reliable and effective 5G NR communication systems © 2024 IEEE.

Few-Shot Learning (FSL) is a sub-area of machine learning which mainly deals with data where there is a scarcity of training supervised samples. Few shot learning (FSL) more closely resembles the human brain in comparing new concepts to others based on prior experience rather than identifying it exactly. FSL aims to generalize the model across the tasks (in meta learning) opposed to the classical supervised learning which generalizes across the data points. In general the FSL models may suffer from underfitting because of scarcity of supervised samples and at the same time it causes overfitting as it is likely to memorize task specific features of the training set. This work aims to reduce such problems and is presented as a metric based model 'Few Shot Learning with Feature Pairing and Mean Discrepancy' (FL-FPMD). As the title suggests, feature pairing is one among various data augmentations. It is observed that flip augmentation is more suitable in the context of pairing the features within the given task. Memorizing task specific features is reduced by incorporating the discrepancy of mean distributions of the query and the support embedding in the loss function. The training and the evaluation is performed at the miniImageNet dataset and the results indicate that the proposed model outperforms the state-of-the-art models of similar complexity. © 2023 IEEE.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a slowly progressive neurodegenerative disease, which necessitates early and accurate diagnosis for effective management. This research presents a comprehensive approach to the classification of Alzheimer's disease using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans, focusing on four distinct classes: nondemented, mild, very mild, and moderate demented. Our main goals are to combine diverse datasets to improve the robustness and adaptability of the model and to fully investigate Alzheimer's disease in all four stages. To achieve these goals, we employed a combination of machine learning and deep learning models. The models utilized include Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG) with Support Vector Machine (SVM), Gabor filters with SVM, Gabor-Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) with SVM, ResNet50, AlexNet, and InceptionV3. Among these, the InceptionV3 model achieved the highest accuracy of 96.20% using 5-fold cross-validation followed the Resnet50 model achieving accuracy of 95.43%. Our approach addresses key challenges such as class imbalance, high intra-class variation, inter-class similarities, and dataset variability, demonstrating significant potential in improving Alzheimer's disease classification and detection. © 2024 IEEE.

Amidst rapid urbanization and fluctuating climatic patterns, the world witnessed a surge in mosquito-borne diseases, escalating global health concerns. Mosquitoes, often dismissed as mere irritants, are carriers for a spectrum of conditions, including malaria, dengue, and the Zika virus, with WHO reporting large numbers of dengue cases annually. This review delves deep into the observation of mosquito behavior and the challenges in eradicating these pests, emphasizing the inefficacy of singular sensory targeting repellents.
