Intelligent performance creativity is a new research direction of the intersection of technology and art. At present, the cutting-edge technologies such as computer simulation, emotional computing and machine learning have been applied to the evaluation and enhancement of intelligent performance creativity. The application of these technologies has greatly increased the diversity of performance forms and the complexity of performance content. For the traditional stage performance, due to the lack of timely feedback from the audience, it is difficult for the director to enhance the creativity effec-tively. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes concentration level enhancement method (CLEM). The CLEM extracts and analyzes the physiological and emotional characteristics of the audience by collecting the multimodal physiological signal data of the audience. Through the analysis of the features, the concentration information of the audience is obtained and the concentration level (CL) is defined. Based on the physiological and emotional induction mechanism, a performance creativity enhancement strategy is proposed, which enhances the performance creativity in two aspects: " Visual-based" and " Content-based". Through the concentration level enhancement method, compare the audience’s performance attention changes before and after the performance creativity enhancement, select the effective strategies to enhance the performance creativity, and provide the director with quantifiable performance creativity enhancement feedback results. The experimental results show that the CLEM proposed in this paper can effectively induce significant changes in the audience’s emotion, and the selected creative enhancement strategy can significantly improve the audience’s concentration and achieve the purpose of enhancing the creativity of the performance. © 2023, Journal of Network Intelligence.

A Globally Convergent Method for Computing B-stationary Points of Mathematical Programs with Equilibrium Constraints

This paper introduces a method that globally converges to Bstationary points of mathematical programs with equilibrium constraints (MPECs) in a finite number of iterations. B-stationarity is necessary for optimality and means that no feasible first-order direction improves the objective. Given a feasible point of an MPEC, B-stationarity can be certified by solving a linear program with equilibrium constraints (LPEC) constructed at this point. The proposed method solves a sequence of LPECs, which either certify B-stationarity or provide an active-set estimate for the complementarity constraints, and nonlinear programs (NLPs) - referred to as branch NLPs (BNLPs) - obtained by fixing the active set in the MPEC. A BNLP is more regular than the MPEC, easier to solve, and with the correct active set, its solution coincides with the solution of the MPEC. The method has two phases: the first phase identifies a feasible BNLP or certifies local infeasibility, and the second phase solves a finite sequence of BNLPs until a B-stationary point of the MPECis found. The paper provides a detailed convergence analysis and discusses implementation details. In addition, extensive numerical experiments and an open-source software implementation are provided. This study addresses linear attacks on remote state estimation within the context of a constrained alarm rate. Smart sensors, which are equipped with local Kalman filters, transmit innovations instead of raw measurements through a wireless communication network. This transmission is vulnerable to malicious data interception and manipulation by attackers. The aim of this research is to identify the optimal attack strategy that degrades the system performance while adhering to stealthiness constraints. A notable innovation of this paper is the direct association of the attack's stealthiness with the alarm rate, diverging from traditional approaches that rely on the covariance of the innovation or the Kullback-Leibler divergence, which are conventional metrics that have been extensively explored in previous studies. Our findings reveal that the optimal attack strategy exhibits some structural characteristics in systems of low dimensions. The performance of the proposed attack strategy is demonstrated through numerical examples. © 2024 IEEE.

Disassembly planning and sequencing play an important role in recycling a fast-growing number of end-of-life products. Optimal sequences can effectively reduce carbon emissions and save natural resources in the remanufacturing industry. Considering the development of intelligent manufacturing technology, this work deals with the optimization problem of selective disassembly sequences with an objective of maximizing disassembly profit. Disassembly sequences are generated based on AND/OR graphs. After setting up an environment matrix based on such graphs, this proposes a Q-learning technique to find an selective optimal disassembly sequence. The algorithm is applied to real-life disassembly cases. Experimental results show that the algorithm is superior a popularly-used genetic algorithm (GA) in both computing speed and solution quality through their various comparisons. © 2022 IEEE.

With the dawn of e-Healthcare systems, Medical Record Management has become an important research problem. The storage and organization of medical records have made relatively little progress in a world of constantly emerging new technologies and continuous innovation. Many hospitals keep the records on paper, which raises many challenges, including but not limited to a significant amount of time for searching and retrieving a specific record, high maintenance costs, lack of backup, and limited security. Although the inclusion of technology has made this task far more efficient and secure, there is still much that can be done to improve it. This paper proposes a double index-based approach for mapping medical records directly to a patient's biometrics which would take advantage of the uniqueness of biometrics to identify a patient. The proposed multi-biometric model achieves an accuracy of 97% and an F 1 score of 0.9814. © 2023 IEEE.

Interactive hand mesh reconstruction from singleview images poses a significant challenge with the severe occlusion and depth ambiguity inherent in interactive hand gestures. Recent approaches that employ probabilistic models and tokenpruned techniques have shown decent results in multi-view human body reconstruction. Nevertheless, these methods have not fully utilized multi-scale semantic information from multiview images and are not applicable in scenarios involving severe occlusion during dual-hand interactions. Simultaneously, current single-view methods independently reconstruct the left and right hands, which are ineffective in enhancing the interaction between both hands. To address these challenges, we propose CAMInterHand, a cooperative attention-based method for multi-view interactive hand pose and mesh reconstruction. Specifically, CAMInterHand extracts local pyramid features and global vertex features from multi-scale feature maps of multi-view images, enabling the exploration of rich local semantic information and facilitating effective feature alignment. Furthermore, CAMInterHand employs the cooperative attention fusion module to fuse all features from multi-view images, enhancing interactions among vertices of dual hands within global and local contexts. We conduct extensive experiments on the large-scale multi-view dataset InterHand2.6M and CAMInterHand achieves a substantial performance improvement over existing methods for multi-view and single-view interactive hand reconstruction.

The growing prevalence of automated threats in e-commerce necessitates effective security measures, exemplified by CAPTCHAs (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell computers and Humans Apart). However, the use of CAPTCHAs introduces challenges related to user perception, engagement, and frustration. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the impact of CAPTCHAs on ecommerce transactions, including their influence on user behavior, security effectiveness, and the complexity of their implementation. Through a structured questionnaire-based approach, we gathered insights from users, assessing their experiences and perceptions of CAPTCHAs during online shopping. Our analysis involved quantitative data, utilizing statistical software, to provide a holistic understanding of these security measures in the e-commerce domain. Users support the effort to make CAPTCHAs engaging, and many find gamified elements positive. A substantial number express high frustration with multiple CAPTCHAs, affecting their willingness to return to e-commerce platforms. This study outlines the importance of optimizing CAPTCHAs to balance security and user experience in e-commerce. © 2024 IEEE.

It is well known that people who know the presence of network viruses will defend against them, and the more computer viruses are detected and the more measures are taken. However, most previous computer virus propagation models have completely ignored the saturation effect. This paper investigates how the saturation effect impacts the transmission of electronic virus. For this purpose, a new transmission model of network virus is proposed, in which the virus is not very prevalent. Under certain conditions, there is a global asymptotical stable equilibrium point with no virus in this model. Finally, we give several numerical examples to exhibit that sufficient saturation effect is greatly conducive to containing network viruses. © 2024 IEEE.

Nowadays, the recycling of waste products has attracted extensive attention in academia and industry. In the layout design of disassembly lines, single-row and U-shaped hybrid disassembly lines have different application scenarios. Considering workstation resource configuration, disassembly line cycle time, and disassembly task precedence relationship, we address a Multi-product Hybrid-disassembly-line-balancing Problem (MHP), and establish its mathematical model with the objective of disassembly profit maximization. In addition, the union variable neighborhood descent (U-VND) algorithm is used to solve the problem, in which two kinds of neighborhood structures composed of different actions is designed. Experimental results and comparative analysis show that the proposed algorithm can quickly obtain stable and high-quality solutions, which verifies the validity of the neighborhood structure and the correctness of the model. © 2022 IEEE.
