The rise of sophisticated phishing attacks has necessitated stronger security measures for email communication, especially in sensitive environments. This paper proposes a Quantum Secure Email Communication Framework designed to prevent phishing by integrating Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) with traditional email security mechanisms. The framework leverages quantum keys to encrypt email communication, ensuring that only legitimate users with the correct quantum key can send and receive secure emails. The architecture also incorporates a Phishing Detection Engine that validates email content and sender information using quantum-encrypted keys, alerting users to potential phishing threats. The system operates through the secure exchange of quantum keys between the sender's email server and the user via a QKD Channel, with quantum encryption applied to secure outgoing and incoming emails. In parallel, the phishing detection module analyses all email traffic for signs of malicious activity, using a QKD-based Email Validator to confirm the legitimacy of emails. This hybrid approach ensures both the privacy of communication and the proactive detection of phishing attempts, offering a robust defense mechanism in the increasingly hostile landscape of digital communication. © 2024 IEEE.

Focus of this study is to investigate the nuanced world of emotions in English-translated Tamil literature through the lens of sentiment analysis. The dataset consists of poems expressing a range of emotions including joy, sadness, love, anger, pride, courage, and fear. To effectively analyze and classify these emotions, we utilized cutting-edge transformer-based models, like BERT, DistilBERT, and RoBERTa, to conduct our analysis. The outcomes of our study showcase the exceptional capabilities of these models in effectively analyzing emotions within poetic expressions. RoBERTa, in particular, emerged as a standout choice, consistently achieving high accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 scores across all emotion categories. Its extensive pre-training and dynamic masking techniques allowed itto excel in capturing the intricate emotional nuancesembedded in the translated poems. DistilBERT demonstrated commendable efficiency without compromising accuracy, making it a practical option for real-time sentiment analysis. BERT, although a strong performer, showcased marginally reduced efficiency compared to RoBERTa and DistilBERT. © 2024 IEEE.

The synthesis of visual information from multiple medical imaging inputs to a single fused image without any loss of detail and distortion is known as multimodal medical image *** improves the quality of biomedical images by preserving detailed features to advance the clinical utility of medical imaging meant for the analysis and treatment of medical *** study develops a novel approach to fuse multimodal medical images utilizing anisotropic diffusion(AD)and non-subsampled contourlet transform(NSCT).First,the method employs anisotropic diffusion for decomposing input images to their base and detail layers to coarsely split two features of input images such as structural and textural *** detail and base layers are further combined utilizing a sum-based fusion rule which maximizes noise filtering contrast level by effectively preserving most of the structural and textural *** is utilized to further decompose these images into their low and high-frequency *** coefficients are then combined utilizing the principal component analysis/Karhunen-Loeve(PCA/KL)based fusion rule independently by substantiating eigenfeature reinforcement in the fusion *** NSCT-based multiresolution analysis is performed on the combined salient feature information and the contrast-enhanced fusion ***,an inverse NSCT is applied to each coef-ficient to produce the final fusion *** results demonstrate an advantage of the proposed technique using a publicly accessible dataset and conducted comparative studies on three pairs of medical images from different modalities and *** approach offers better visual and robust performance with better objective measurements for research development since it excellently preserves significant salient features and precision without producing abnormal information in the case of qualitative and quantitative analysis.

In deep learning, brain connectivity investigates neural links using advanced artificial intelligence. Functional connectivity, powered by deep neural networks, reveals patterns in brain activity linked to cognition, emotion, and decision-making. Structural connectivity, often utilizing graph neural networks, reconstructs intricate neural pathways. Analytical studies based on software testing have shown that 50–80% of the total development cost is spent on testing the software for defects, adherence to functional and nonfunctional requirements. Software Testing enables the testers to discover the possible faults, bugs and errors existing in the software before being deployed in production, thereby verifying and validating the software over the requirements defined. Since manual testing is time consuming, less efficient and does not guarantee complete coverage, automation testing is recommended. Automation testing is performed with the main idea of improving the test coverage and increasing the test efficiency. The process of automation testing is facilitated by the use of automation tools which aid in increasing the speed of testing, but may need additional investments, in terms of revenue invested on tool, preparation of automation scripts, maintenance and training for better automation. Development of the software is associated with updates, changes/modifications being made over the course of time, resulting in testing the software in a repetitive manner which can be performed by regression testing. The proposed work analyzes different projects to determine and identify the significant factors influencing the effectiveness of testing for the sampled projects. The aim is to identify factors which influence the test effectiveness, have an impact on efficiency, and identify the appropriate test cases for automation. Concerns with image security exist in every sector that uses digital photographs. Historically, public safety and forensics have depended on images from the crime scene, biometric photos, suspect photos, and other sources. With the development of digital imaging, there has been a significant increase in the use of digital images in this field. Although the use of digital image processing has led to the creation of several new forensic methods of inquiry, it has also simplified picture modification. Digital picture validity is an issue since several snipping and image alteration programs are freely available to the public. It serves as solid proof in many different types of crimes and is utilized as documentation for many purposes. Creating and modifying photos has become easier and more accessible with the development of image manipulation and editing tools. The two most common methods of photo counterfeiting are copy-and-move forgery and image splicing. An image can be spliced, or combined from two photos, to hide or show an error scenario. A section of a picture can be copied and pasted into another image. The many kinds of digital image frauds are examined in this study along with software that detects them. An analysis was done on the methods currently in use for spotting phony photos. © 2024 IEEE.

Medical images are available in small datasets with different modalities and for various organs. Although Transfer learning is a promising approach for training models on small datasets, further studies are required on using them with several image modalities and body parts. This paper explores two dominant meta-learning algorithms: a metric-based algorithm, namely Prototypical Network, and an optimization-based algorithm, namely MAML. The algorithms trained on a small multi-modal medical dataset (i.e., Slake), and a general dataset of the same size (i.e., Tiny-imagenet) with different class distribution methods: Random, Logical-based, and Statistical-based class distribution. The aim is to apply diversity among the classes in the meta-training set and similarity between the classes in the meta-training, and meta-testing or meta-validation sets. The results validate the importance of class distribution on the accuracy of the algorithms. MAML is hard to be trained on Tiny-imagenet but it shows good accuracy on Slake in specific cases. In statistical distribution, the Prototypical Network shows high accuracy on the datasets, especially when the similarity between the meta-training and meta-validation sets is considered for Tiny-imagenet. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

The rapid advancements in quantum computing pose significant threats to traditional cryptographic systems, which are foundational to securing modern digital infrastructure. Cryptosystems like RSA and ECC, currently relied upon for secure communications, are vulnerable to quantum attacks, necessitating the development of post-quantum cryptography (PQC). The proposed methodology in this paper focuses on safeguarding critical infrastructure from quantum-based cyberattacks by leveraging PQC. The framework integrates several key strategies: hybrid cryptography, which combines classical and post-quantum algorithms to ensure security even as quantum threats evolve;quantum key distribution (QKD), ensuring secure communication by detecting any interception attempts;and post-quantum algorithms designed to resist quantum computing capabilities. The methodology also includes a robust security layer with incident response and threat monitoring systems to detect anomalies and initiate rapid responses to potential attacks. This holistic approach secures vital sectors like healthcare, energy, and telecommunications by future-proofing cryptographic measures against quantum threats. © 2024 IEEE.

This article proposes a new multi-level inverter (MLI) based on flying capacitor inverter (FCI), with focused on high-precision positioning control for a voice coil motor (VCM). Multi-level inverters (MLIs) have the characteristic that increasing the number of output voltage levels reduces the output voltage error. However, as the number of levels increases, the number of circuit elements increases, and the circuit becomes more complex. In addition, the output voltage amplitude for each level is constant in conventional inverters. As a result, such as high-precision positioning control of VCM, designing an appropriate inverter for a reference wave that contains a large amount of low-voltage components increases the number of circuit elements. Therefore, this paper proposes a MLI with two unbalanced dc-input voltages, referred to as unbalanced MLIs (UMLIs) hereinafter. This topology uses two different dc-input voltages, and it is possible to reduce the output voltage level in extremely low-voltage range compared to other voltage levels. Simulation results when the high-precision positioning control of the VCM confirm that the proposed UMLIs improves the control performance compared to the conventional FCIs with equal number of output voltage levels and uniform level widths. © 2025 IEEE.
