Research on real-time data visualization methods is necessary to achieve the most accurate and clear representation of information. Creating specific boards and modifying current platforms are two key tasks in performing an appropriate information visualization. An overview of the studies on dashboard platforms, data visualization methods, and accessible strategies is given in this article. To evaluate the effects of the various data visualization approaches on the finished dashboard, a generic and dynamic dashboard based on real-time data was created. Consequently, a preliminary collection of cues, charts, tables, and reports will allow users to interact with the data. produced by the Dashboard itself. Making informed decisions across a variety of businesses requires the capacity to acquire and comprehend real-time information in today’s data-driven environment. Real-time data visualization techniques are now essential for turning complex data into insights that can be put to use. This study examines the value of real-time data visualization and offers a summary of strategies and equipment that enable businesses to efficiently use real-time data.

The agricultural area has undergone a significant transformation owing to the progress made in IoT. It is imperative to have a dependable remote monitoring solution right now. This study aims to accomplish two goals. First, a solution based on an app is offered, which effectively assists in remotely administering the field by displaying the current sensor values. In an Internet of Things based prototype surveillance system, a multi-class categorization method utilizing machine learning and deep learning is incorporated to classify labels such as clear farm, cow, horse, wild boar, and wild elephant. The analysis involved Support Vector Machines and Convolutional Neural Networks, with the accuracy measure being employed to determine the optimal model. The advancements in the Internet of Things (IoT) have significantly transformed the daily lives of individuals. A comprehensive understanding of soil properties gives a variety of soil-related information that can be used to improve crop yields. Machine learning is a cutting-edge technology that aids with agricultural precision and provides answers to crop yield issues. Significant informative advances and Machine Learning (ML) open up new opportunities for deciphering, quantifying, and comprehending data-intensive prediction in agricultural settings. This study thoroughly examines a number of machine learning topics for Internet of Things-based smart agriculture systems.

The supply chain management sector strategic examination of the blockchain relies smart contract technology employs a comprehensive approach, drawing insights from reputable secondary sources to explore performance metrics, transactional flow optimization, consensus mechanisms, and security considerations. The study reveals nuanced performance variations in average throughput and transaction duration, emphasizing the scalability and stability of the blockchain network. The depicted transactional flow showcases enhanced communication and transparency, aligning with strategic goals for supply chain optimization. The introduction of a Proof of Authority (PoA) consensus algorithm underscores the importance of efficient consensus mechanisms for resilience against attacks. By integrating PoA, the proposed blockchain-based smart contracts contribute to a strategic and reliable supply chain management system, enhancing transparency and mitigating potential risks. A robust security analysis demonstrates moderate fault tolerance, high defense mechanisms, and effective security recovery capabilities, aligning with the overarching goals of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical supply chain data. Ethereum's Proof of Stake (PoS) mechanism is referenced as an exemplar for improving scalability and security. The comparative analysis highlights the proposed CMBC (Consensus Mechanism with Blockchain) as a standout solution, offering middle-ground high attack diversity, fault tolerance, recovery, and a high attack cost, robust security. CMBC outperforms alternatives, demonstrating superiority in enhancing security and resilience against potential adversarial threats. Predicting urban population dynamics encounters challenges like intricate spatiotemporal variations, privacy concerns tied to user data, and a lack of model interpretability, all impeding sustainable urban development. To address these issues, this paper introduces a method for hourly urban population prediction based on Points of Interest (POI) and road network data. By modeling POIs and road networks, the approach reconstructs grid-level counts of accessible POIs across different time intervals. These features are key inputs for a Random Forest algorithm, demonstrating high precision and consistent stability in forecasting population dynamics at an hourly level. Additionally, SHAP analysis assesses the spatiotemporal significance of different POI types and their accessibility concerning the prediction model. Results highlight the substantial influence of office spaces, residential areas, and shopping facilities on the population prediction model, with local POIs and those accessible within a 60-min radius making noteworthy contributions. This research establishes a foundation for urban population forecasting, providing valuable insights for traffic planning, management, and future urban development strategies. © ASCE.

Innovative safety in the workplace is vital as the high safety risks associated with electrical engineering construction can lead to injuries or even fatalities. Using computer vision technology, we experimented with scenarios such as 'normal operations' and 'unexpected incidents' to enhance safety measures. We integrated an Internet of Things system into the setup, enabling the system to quickly detect and alert to unexpected events in real-time, thereby improving workplace safety. © 2024 IEEE.

Avatars, as promising digital representations and service assistants of users in Metaverses, can enable drivers and passengers to immerse themselves in 3D virtual services and spaces of UAV-assisted vehicular Metaverses. However, avatar tasks include a multitude of human-to-avatar and avatar-to-avatar interactive applications, e.g., augmented reality navigation,which consumes intensive computing resources. It is inefficient and impractical for vehicles to process avatar tasks locally. Fortunately, migrating avatar tasks to the nearest roadside units(RSU)or unmanned aerial vehicles(UAV) for execution is a promising solution to decrease computation overhead and reduce task processing latency, while the high mobility of vehicles brings challenges for vehicles to independently perform avatar migration decisions depending on current and future vehicle status. To address these challenges, in this paper, we propose a novel avatar task migration system based on multi-agent deep reinforcement learning(MADRL) to execute immersive vehicular avatar tasks dynamically. Specifically, we first formulate the problem of avatar task migration from vehicles to RSUs/UAVs as a partially observable Markov decision process that can be solved by MADRL algorithms. We then design the multi-agent proximal policy optimization(MAPPO) approach as the MADRL algorithm for the avatar task migration problem. To overcome slow convergence resulting from the curse of dimensionality and non-stationary issues caused by shared parameters in MAPPO, we further propose a transformer-based MAPPO approach via sequential decision-making models for the efficient representation of relationships among agents. Finally, to motivate terrestrial or non-terrestrial edge servers(e.g., RSUs or UAVs) to share computation resources and ensure traceability of the sharing records, we apply smart contracts and blockchain technologies to achieve secure sharing management. In the post-New Crown epidemic era, people need to face a period of physical recovery after being infected with New Crown, especially when there are frequent cases of deaths due to over-aggressive or excessive physical exercise after healing, or due to people's concerns about safety hazards, or loss of interest and adherence to fitness due to exercising alone, among other problems. In this paper, we design a complete interactive monitoring generation system for wrist brace components, Digital-Bracers, which consists of both hardware and software. The hardware has integrated textile heart rate monitoring and integrated sensors in a three-lead configuration for a textile-based digital wrist brace that conforms to human comfort. The software is a visualized app with pulse rate, speed, and frequency, oscillation rhythm, content generation social connectivity, etc. The software and hardware are connected via WI-FI or Bluetooth. Through exploration of materials, ergonomics, and textile wrist guard construction, we designed an experimental process and tested Digital-Bracers to determine the system's performance through peak heart rate detection and noise interference. The contribution of the Digital-Bracers Interactive Monitoring and Generation System is the ability to monitor one's own health in real-time during hand exercise to avoid potential risks, while at the same time, The Digital-Bracers Interactive Monitoring System contributes to the real-time monitoring of one's health during hand movements to avoid potential risks, and to the generation of a variety of different sounds to bring a sense of fulfillment and enjoyment to the hand movements. © 2024 The Authors.

This paper will conclude the integration between smart interior design and Artificial Intelligence including sustainability within design principles and functions. Presenting "Empower hub" a center that is specifically devoted to people with physical disabilities that concludes AI in the infrastructure. Using sustainable materials and energy-efficient lighting are the objectives. This can include solar power smart systems and adaptive technology, which greatly assist people with various types of impairments, and it is not adequately integrated in many sectors. The design focus is to address the special needs of people with visual, auditory, or mobility impairments, utilize state-of-the-art adaptive technology. Therefore, navigation assistance and motion detection systems are being proposed for the center. The smart prototypes will process data and sensors that will detect movements for smooth access. In addition to proximity sensors that can be vocal to ensure audio assistance. Most of those sensors will be powered by solar energy to ensure the sustainable factor of the project in addition to reducing energy consumption. Overall, the research will conclude the integration of AI and interior design while applying sustainable design principles in interior design with the integration of machine learning to benefit people of determination in order of accessibility and function to allow them to give back to society by giving them easy access to ensure their safety and wellbeing. © 2024 IEEE

The internet became a common communication platform for many people. However, information transmission is not secure, and there is a high probability of copying and altering the information easily. In the public network, transmitting sensitive or private information needs some kind of protection. Unless a secure channel is utilized for the transmission. Hiding the information is one of the efficient techniques that provides a solution for transmitting confidential data over communication channels. These techniques should meet various application requirements such as high robustness against attacks, real-time, and high hiding capacity. Generally, information-hiding techniques suffer from many challenges. The interdisciplinary field of Human-computer Interaction (HCI) thrives on productive engagement with different domains, yet this engagement often breaks due to idiosyncratic writing styles and unfamiliar concepts. Inspired by the dialogic model of abstract metaphors, as well as the potential of Large Language Models (LLMs) to produce on-demand support, we investigate the use of metaphors to facilitate engagement between science and Technology Studies (STS) and System HCI. Our reflective-style survey with early-career HCI researchers (N=48) reported that limited prior exposure to STS research can hinder perceived openness of the work, and ultimately interest in reading. The survey also revealed that metaphors enhance likelihood to continue reading STS papers, and alternative perspectives can build critical thinking skills to mitigate potential risks of LLM-generated metaphors. We lastly offer a specified model of metaphor exchange (within this generative context) that incorporates alternative perspectives to construct shared understanding in interdisciplinary engagement. © 2025 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).
