The analytical procedure known as Disaster Prediction (DP) makes estimates regarding future incident and disaster events before they actually occur. The present research seeks to determine which method produces the best results for DP. The research finds that Deep Learning surpasses Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence methods when predicting disaster occurrence including or excluding events. The results indicate Deep Learning stands as the top DP method. CNN turned out to be the DL model with the best performance results which produced Accuracy at 0.993 and Precision at 0.986 along with Recall at 0.978. Among the models tested the LSTM model performed as the runner-up with accuracy reaching (0.975), precision at (0.959), while recall obtained (0.992). The research shows how DL technologies prove advantageous for disaster risk assessment plus their capability for developing proactive disaster response strategies.

In the contemporary era, harnessing millimeter-wave frequencies emerges as a compelling strategy to fulfill the swift data transfer requirements for 5G communications. Consequently, this study involves designing a metamaterial-based multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antenna with a focus on achieving high isolation and gain within the millimeter-wave spectrum. The suggested MIMO is printed on a Rogers RT5800 measuring 18 × 38 × 0.8 mm3. The single antenna element demonstrates a broad frequency coverage from 27.2 to 28.72GHz. To elevate the antenna's effectiveness, a two-port MIMO configuration is implemented by introducing a second antenna element parallel to benchmark antenna. However, the isolation between the two elements is deemed satisfactory. To address this, a 4 × 1 metamaterial unit cell is introduced, significantly enhancing isolation from 31 dB to 39 dB at 28 GHz. Furthermore, it improves the gain by 0.5 dBi at 28 GHz, elevating it from 8.5 to 9 dBi. The collective features of the suggested two ports MIMO antenna, encompassing its compactness and simplicity, position it as an excellent option for upcoming portable and shrink devices in Internet of Things uses. © 2024 IEEE.

Chaos is not only a unique chapter in the theory of dynamical systems but also a useful one with many applications in the field of communications. In this work a cyclometric modification of the well-known example of chaotic systems, the modified differential equations describing the behavior of the Chua-circuit is investigated. The results obtained can be applied in the encryption methods of the implementation of different communication channels like machine-machine or cognitive one. © 2023 IEEE.

A revolutionary development in surgical practice, the incorporation of robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) into minimally invasive surgery (MIS) improves patient outcomes, safety, and precision. This review article examines the development of minimally invasive surgery (MIS) and highlights its notable advantages over open surgery, including shorter recovery periods, less discomfort following surgery, and a decreased rate of complications. The article explores the function of robotic systems, in particular the da Vinci Surgical System, which has transformed surgical operations by giving doctors more dexterity and visualization using robotic arms and high-definition 3D imagery. Additionally, the application of AI technology is explored, demonstrating how it enhances real-time decision-making, intraoperative assistance, and preoperative planning, ultimately improving surgical results. The paper also discusses the ethical and regulatory issues raised by surgical robots' growing autonomy, highlighting the necessity of strong frameworks to guarantee patient safety and fair access to these cutting-edge technologies. This study highlights how artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics have the ability to change the surgical medicine landscape by combining the most recent research and clinical practices. It also calls for continued communication among stakeholders to effectively traverse the complexity of this rapidly developing sector.

Magnesium alloys remain critical in the context of light-weighting and advanced devices. The increased utilisation of magnesium(Mg)each year reveals growing demand for its Mg-based alloys. Additive manufacturing(AM) provides the possibility to directly manufacture components in net-shape, providing new possibilities and applications for the use of Mg-alloys, and new prospects in the utilisation of novel physical structures made possible from ‘3D printing’. The review herein seeks to holistically explore the additive manufacturing of Mg-alloys to date, including a synopsis of processes used and properties measured(with a comparison to conventionally prepared Mg-alloys). The challenges and possibilities of AM Mg-alloys are critically elaborated for the field of mechanical metallurgy.

The present-day state of real-time statistics analysis, in the main, relies on guide evaluation techniques that require trained records scientists as a way to extract significant insights from statistics streams. Leveraging machine-gaining knowledge of (ML) methods provides the capacity for increasing the efficiency and accuracy of real-time statistics analysis. This paper presents an automation process for data analysis, utilizing machine learning algorithms to improve the efficiency and accuracy of real-time data analysis. The proposed process involves data preprocessing, feature selection, algorithm selection, model training, and validation, all of which can be automated to reduce human intervention and errors. Additionally, the paper highlights the benefits of incorporating machine learning in the data analysis process, such as fast and accurate predictions, increased scalability, and reduced costs. The results obtained from implementing this automation process demonstrate its effectiveness in achieving more efficient real-time data analysis. Ultimately, this study provides valuable insights for organizations looking to leverage machine learning for better data analysis and decision-making. we present numerous use case studies illustrating current successes in leveraging ML for more efficient actual-time records evaluation. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents research on power management of a battery storage system (With the aim of reducing system losses) Without information about loads in a power distribution network with installed renewable energy sources and distributed generation. The poWer management of the storage system used in the research is based on a fuzzy inference system to define the input or output poWer of the battery storage system. The optimization procedure to determine the optimal parameters of the power management system is also provided. Except for the optimal allocation of the battery storage and distributed generation systems, the optimization of the parameters is performed along with the allocation optimization. The whole optimization problem is solved for the annual data of load and generation profiles of renewable sources using hourly values, i.e., the optimization is solved simultaneously for 8760 load and generation data. The optimization problem is solved by co-simulation using the metaheuristic optimization technique. Since the method is based on the use of fuzzy systems and metaheuristic optimization, it represents the implementation of computer intelligence for optimal allocation and energy management problems. The presented method is applied to the test distribution system IEEE with 37 nodes. The achieved reduction in annual energy losses is about 40 % of the losses in the power system without the distributed generation units and the battery storage system. © 2022 IEEE.

One of the most important issues of ranking is thousands of web service available. Finding and implementing algorithms that do ranking well, is very essential. The important issue is that after ranking and choosing their best by different algorithms and suggesting them to user he is satisfied. Different algorithms presented so far for this purpose have focused on processing the content of user application and they have tried to do this selection based on word key or meaning or quality features, yet psychological features of users has impact on their satisfaction of suggested services of algorithms which hasn't been noted to this dependency. The purpose of this research is ranking web services and suggesting their best considering psychological features of persons. We review 2 ways of ranking. At first using qualitative model we consider qualitative features and then psychological features in qualitative and psychological combined model besides qualitative features. In qualitative and psychological combined model psychological valid test NEO-FFI has been used to get people psychological features and put them in related clusters given persons psychological features, on one hand, we obtain the amount of people importance to qualitative features using 'prioritizing to web services features' form and then the relationships between persons psychological features and qualitative features of services are computed and Correlation coefficients indicating the importance of the qualitative feature in terms of each cluster persons are obtained and we can obtain the amount of general quality of each web service by its impact on qualitative features of data base of real life of QWS consisting 2500 web services and rank them and suggest the best to user. Above forms (given kokran formula) were distributed among 66 IT experts from 5 universities. At last 10 services which were suggested by qualitative and qualitative and psychological combined models, gave to 20 users for 14 days an

Wind power generation is based on the use of natural wind energy, driven by a lower wind speed, and converting the kinetic energy passed by the wind wheel into mechanical power to drive the generator to rotate. Therefore, it occupies a very important position in the power system. This paper intends to study the automatic detection technology of wind turbine blade cracks from the multi-scale feature fusion of intelligent technology, with the purpose of real-time monitoring of wind turbine failures and prevention of the stop of wind power generation. In this paper, experimental methods and case analysis methods are mainly used to study the automatic detection technology of fan blade cracks and multi-scale feature fusion. The experimental results show that the accuracy of the multi-feature extraction method in the transverse cracks of the fan blade reaches 95%, which basically meets the requirements. © 2022 IEEE.

Effect of coir geotextile and geocell on ephemeral gully erosion in the Mollisol region of Northeast China

The unique geomorphological features and farming methods in the Mollisol region of Northeast China increase water catchment flow and aggravate the erosion of ephemeral gully(EG).Vegetation suffers from rain erosion and damage during the growth stage,which brings serious problems to the restoration of grass in the early ***,effects of coir geotextile and geocell on EG erosion under four confluence intensities were researched in this *** of the simulated water discharge erosion test showed that when the confluence strength was less than 30 L/min,geocell and coir geotextile had a good effect on controlling EG erosion,and sediment yield of geocell and coir geotextile was reduced by 25.95%–37.82%and 73.73%–88.96%,***,when confluence intensity increased to 40 L/min,protective effect of coir geotextile decreased,and sediment yield rate increased sharply by 189.03%.When confluence intensity increased to 50 L/min,the protective effect of coir geotextile was *** the other hand,geocell showed that the greater the flow rate,the better the protective *** addition,with the increase in confluence intensity,erosion pattern of coir geotextile developed from sheet erosion to intermittent fall and then to completion of main rill,and the protective effect was gradually *** contrast,the protective effect of EG under geocell was gradually enhanced from the continuous rill to the intermittent rill and finally to the intermittent *** study shows that coir geotextile and geocell can prevent EG erosion,and the effect of geocell is better than that of coir geotextile on the surface of EG.
