One in six women will be diagnosed with breast cancer (BC) by the time they reach their forties, making it the leading cause of death among this demographic. It's the leading killer in the world, yet it's hard to spot and diagnose in its early stages. Among women, BC is a foremost origin of death in third world countries. The prevention and treatment of these tumors can be greatly aided by screening and early diagnosis. At the moment, BC is the leading malignancy in females, even more so than ovarian cancer. When researchers get access to patient medical records, they can uncover hidden patterns in healthcare. The National-Cancer-Institute (NCI) reports that mortality rates from breast cancer can be reduced with early detection. In order to accurately identify patients with cancer, this work presents a voting classifier based on ensemble learning that integrates the logistic-regression(LR) &stochastic-gradient-descent(SGD) with deep-convoluted features. The ensemble voting classifier is fed deeply-convoluted features mined from the microscopic characteristics. This concept offers a refined framework for differentiating amid benign and malignant tumors. The results show that the highest level of classification accuracy, 100%, may be attained when utilizing voting classifiers with complex features. When compared to the traditional methods, the proposed method showed an improvement in accuracy. Thus, the research aids doctors in diagnosing and avoiding breast cancer. © 2023 IEEE.

A large amount of progress has achieved in neuroscience,however,there is still a lack of reasonable model for the storage/output(S/O)of life *** cyclical motion of cardio-and pulmonary-myocyte is a typical process of the life information S/O,while the opening and closing sites of Ca^(2+)ion channels during the motion can form a genetically programmed time-dependent three-dimensional(3D)*** phenomena indicate a strong correlation of the information S/O model of these myocytes with the time-sequence 3D ***,based on the time-dependent Ca^(2+)fluorescence imaging during the motion of cardio-and pulmonary-myocyte,here we suggest a four-dimensional(4D)code of information S/O model in cell and nervous *** from the fact of pulmonary myocyte motion able to be controlled by brain,it is deduced that the 4D code in brain has a role of controlling muscles through a pathway of the central nervous system,peripheral nervous system,neuromuscular junction,and muscle *** addition,we also suggested the 4D code of non-innate skill that can be programmed by the learning/training of a long time(~3 years),such as walking,writing,painting,sports,speech,singing,and ***,this 4D S/O model is reasonable for the ultralow energy consumption of life information transmission.

Large-scale computational fluid dynamics methods rely on efficient and accurate mesh generation algorithms, especially when handling complex geometries, as mesh generation in such cases can be time-consuming. This paper presents a new approach to mesh generation, integrating the multi-layer lattice Boltzmann method with moving boundaries. This technique minimizes the impact of machine errors on computational geometry, thereby improving the precision of geometric object recognition within the mesh. Furthermore, it significantly cuts down the time needed for mesh generation. Theoretical analyses and numerical experiments reveal that the time required for mesh generation in this study has been reduced by an order of magnitude, facilitating the rapid creation of multi-layer grid nodes numbering in the tens of millions within seconds. By combining moving grids with moving boundaries, this method verifies airflow around airfoils in various grid setups. Moreover, we have extended its application to three-dimensional space, effectively simulating submarine movements. In scenarios with moving boundaries, where mesh generation is necessary at each time step, this method particularly shines. It requires minimal additional computation time, which is a significant advantage. This makes it a practical solution for mesh generation in large-scale simulations. Such simulations often use the multi-layer lattice Boltzmann method and involve moving boundary flow. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

The high demand for user-centric applications such as secure cloud storage laid the foundation for the development of user-centric security schemes with multiple security features in recent years. But, the current state-of-art techniques primarily emphasized only one type of security feature i.e., either homomorphism or non-malleability. To fill this gap and provide a common platform for both homomorphic and non-malleable cloud applications, we have introduced a new public key-based probabilistic encryption switching method. The proposed scheme generates O(m+2 log N) bits of ciphertext where m∈ N and m< n, n∈ N is the plaintext size, N is the RSA composite. The superior performance of the proposed scheme has been tested in comparison to existing methods and is reported in this paper. © 2022, The Author(s).

In recent years, the electricity crisis has increased day by day due to the huge number of electrical appliances being used by the public in their daily lives. Due to this, consumer demand is a very important parameter in power management systems. Hence, to overcome the above drawbacks, a proposed machine learning-based consumer power management system (MLCPMS) in the smart grid is used to analyse electricity consumption and bill generation with respect to the daily basis. As per simulation analysis, the proposed consumer power management (CPM) algorithm showed better performance as compared to the conventional electrical digital metre with respect to electricity consumption and bill analysis. © 2023 IEEE.

Efficient data-driven occupancy detection in office environments and feature impact analysis

Occupancy detection is crucial in optimizing building energy efficiency and enhancing occupant comfort. This study introduces an innovative data-driven approach for accurate occupancy detection in an office room environment. Specifically, the methodology combines the advantages of Independent Component Analysis (ICA) to extract essential features from multivariate data and Kantorovitch distance (KD)-based schemes for detection sensitivity. The KD scheme’s detection threshold is computed nonparametrically using kernel density estimation to enhance the sensitivity of occupancy detection. The efficacy of this strategy is evaluated utilizing publicly available data recorded during winter in Mons, Belgium, capturing vital environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, light, and CO2 levels through specialized sensors. Results demonstrate that the ICA-KD approach achieves an averaged accuracy of 98.355%, surpassing conventional approaches like Principal Component Analysis (PCA)-based, ICA-based, and other state-of-the-art methods. Additionally, the study uses Shapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) with XGBoost to explore the impact of input variables on occupancy detection, highlighting the influence of various factors under different testing conditions. © Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of computer Applications and Management 2024.

Mobile advert hoc networks (MANETs) are self-organizing, infrastructure-less networks together with cellular nodes that talk with each other without delay over wireless links. In spite of the numerous benefits they offer, MANETs need more bandwidth and strength assets and numerous inherent obstacles such as route preservation price and transmission reliability. To address those issues, this paper gift a routing method based on multipath routing and community coding for MANETs. Multipath routing is based on packet-degree duplication to stabilize the traffic load among multiple paths to be had in the network. In contrast, network coding combines more than one packet at community interface nodes, which will increase throughput and reduce manipulation overhead when packets traverse intermediate nodes. The proposed routing method combines each of these techniques, which ends up in efficient and dependable information transmission, even as concurrently decreasing the stress on the network sources. The proposed approach changed into simulating the usage of an OMNeT++ simulator and evaluated in terms of shipping ratio and common stop-to-give-up postponement. The simulation outcomes confirmed that the proposed technique outperforms multipath routing without network coding and single-direction routing in phrases of delivery ratio and average end-to-give-up delay. © 2024 IEEE.

This study introduces some novel soliton solutions and other analytic wave solutions for the highly dispersive perturbed nonlinear Schrödinger equation with generalized nonlocal laws and sextic-power law refractive index. This equation models the behavior of complex wave propagation. The improved modified extended tanh function governs the transmission of various solitons with different effects. New optical solitons are constructed as bright solitons, dark solitons, combo bright-dark solitons and singular solitons. Furthermore, exponential solutions, triangular solutions and rational wave solutions are shown. The findings conferred in this article show a crucial advancement in understanding the propagation of waves in non-linear media. This research work demonstrates a smart agricultural automation and surveillance system utilizing an ESP8266 microcontroller. The system combines data for monitoring external variables such heat, light, and water in the soil with data-from OpenWeatherMaps API-for the purposes of automation of irrigation. The use of a Wi-Fi enabled web interface gives a graphical view of temperature, soil moisture, weather condition, pump status, and watering history in real time. The pump is controlled based on predefined conditions to achieve maximum water efficiency and good plant condition. This low-cost, scalable solution applies to smaller-scale irrigation hubs with highlights in automation and resource efficiency. © 2025 IEEE.

Multimodal fusion, leveraging data like vision and language, is rapidly gaining traction. This enriched data representation improves performance across various tasks. Existing methods for out-of-distribution (OOD) detection, a critical area where AI models encounter unseen data in real-world scenarios, rely heavily on whole-image features. These image-level features can include irrelevant information that hinders the detection of OOD samples, ultimately limiting overall performance. In this paper, we propose TagOOD, a novel approach for OOD detection that leverages vision language representations to achieve label-free object feature decoupling from whole images. This decomposition enables a more focused analysis of object semantics, enhancing OOD detection performance. Subsequently, TagOOD trains a lightweight network on the extracted object features to learn representative class centers. These centers capture the central tendencies of IND object classes, minimizing the influence of irrelevant image features during OOD detection. Finally, our approach efficiently detects OOD samples by calculating distance-based metrics as OOD scores between learned centers and test samples. We conduct extensive experiments to evaluate TagOOD on several benchmark datasets and demonstrate its superior performance compared to existing OOD detection methods. This work presents a novel perspective for further exploration of multimodal information utilization in OOD detection, with potential applications across various tasks.
