Autonomous driving detection technology in real-world road scenarios faces numerous challenges, including variable weather conditions and complex road environments. Therefore, developing an object detection model with robust domain adaptation is crucial. In this paper, we investigate the use of image style transfer techniques to leverage target domain images for enhancing model performance. Experimental results show that our proposed approach significantly improves detection efficacy. Notably, our method outperforms the Oracle results in tasks such as transitioning from Cityscapes to Foggy Cityscapes, highlighting its effectiveness in addressing domain adaptation challenges. © 2024 IEEE.

Pansharpening involves synthesizing high resolution hyperspectral images (HRHS) by combining low spatial resolution hyperspectral (LRHS) images and panchromatic (PAN) images. Existing methods perform inadequately in extreme panchromatic sharpening, often resulting in excessively blurred HRHS images. The main reasons are the combination of inputs and training loss functions overly simplistic, and the spatial details of upsampling LRHS are severely distorted, which leads to the weakening of the neural network's ability to utilize the spatial information of PAN images. To address this issue, we propose a spectral-spatial dual injection network (SSDINet) combined with panchromatic loss for extreme pansharpening. SSDINet alleviates the blur problem of HRHS images during extreme pansharpening by adding an additional pseudo hyperspectral (PHS) image input and combining it with upsampling LRHS images to form an additional spectral injection branch that is different from spatial injection. Additionally, during network training, use an extra panchromatic loss to alleviates the problem of incomplete utilization of PAN images. Panchromatic mapping is realized by neural network. Experimental results demonstrate the superior performance of our approach compared to representative methods. © 2024 SPIE.

An essential part of computer vision, lip reading, has grown significantly and is now used in autonomous driving, public safety, and hearing-impaired communication. This work provides an in-depth analysis of both conventional and deep learning-based lip reading systems, examining their development over time, difficulties encountered, and critical role in human communication. The suggested LipNet model, which leverages the complementary abilities of Long Short-Term Memory networks (LSTMs) for temporal modelling and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) for spatial feature extraction, is a central focus of this research. When LipNet is tested using the GRID Corpus dataset, it outperforms baseline models in terms of performance. Saliency maps and viseme analysis highlight LipNet's ability to capture phonologically relevant areas in lip motions, providing insight into the network's attention processes. Apart from examining the importance of datasets such as OuluVs2and GRID Corpus, this study presents GhostNet, a lightweight model that tackles the requirement for effective network designs. The testing results highlight LipNet's competitive Character Error Rate (CER) and Word Error Rate (WER) in comparison to baseline models, proving that it is the best method for real-world use. The research ends with a summary of potential future developments in lip reading technology, such as modal integration, realtime applications, personalisation, ethical issues, and the goal of creating a communication environment that is more inclusive. This study highlights the effectiveness of LipNet and paves the way for future developments in the ever-evolving area of lip reading by examining a variety of methodologies.

Human life is challenged by this main work’s ultimate goal of reducing accidents and ensuring life safety due to the enormous growth of vehicles and those based on safety. Here, cases of suspected drunk driving, reckless driving, etc., are present. In this scenario, vehicles are traveling at full speed and irresponsibly using technology on all roads. An early warning system is used to stop auto accidents. In order to accommodate the city's steadily increasing automobile population, intelligent traffic systems must be designed in a resourceful and sustainable manner using all available technology in both light and dark. The advanced ML's work on unexpected traffic flow and all road conditions resulted in significant real-time changes in the flow of traffic for every significant issue that arose. Here, the Blue Whale technology makes use of clever intelligence to quickly identify, detect, and modify warning systems. The primary objective of the study was to train CNN/BWT on the collected data sets in order to operationalize the unsupervised approach for the prediction of critical situations. Additionally, it makes an effort to clarify the situation so that guests can feel more at ease and help them decide on transfers in time-sensitive situations. IOT is a practical way to locate the nearest object using machine learning methods that are accurate and apply received data sets, resulting in significant findings that support object recognition. The paperwork fully focuses on improving driving knowledge and offering new approaches for quick object recognition. Wireless Sensor and Internet of Things (WSIoT) networks are characterized by nodes scattered throughout the environment, posing a significant challenge when it comes to battery replacement. The task of developing an algorithm that effectively reduces energy consumption in IoT networks through the utilization of artificial intelligence and fuzzy logic is a formidable one. Heuristic algorithms emerge as valuable tools in this context, capable of swiftly addressing non-deterministic polynomial problems or approximating optimal solutions with remarkable accuracy. Conversely, mathematical optimization approaches often falter due to their sluggishness or inefficiency, rendering them less suited for the dynamic demands of IoT networks. This study embarks on a novel approach, leveraging the synergy of fuzzy clustering to intricately connect sensors to the network and particle optimization to approximate the initial values of head clusters within the realm of WSIoT. A comprehensive evaluation of our proposed strategy is meticulously conducted through extensive simulations utilizing the NS2 simulator. In this evaluation, we distinguish our algorithm from existing methods, including IoTbWSN and REcsIoT. The results of this comparative analysis are illuminating. In contrast to other methodologies, our proposed approach demonstrates a notable 9.57% improvement in network throughput and a substantial 8.47% reduction in energy consumption. This signifies a remarkable leap forward in the quest to address the challenges posed by energy consumption and battery replacement within the complex landscape of IoT networks. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2023.

Although conventional false data injection attacks can circumvent the detection of bad data detection (BDD) in sustainable power grid cyber physical systems, they are easily detected by well-trained deep learning-based detectors. Still, state estimation models with deep leaning-based detectors are not secure due to the vulnerabilities and fragility of deep learning models. Using the related laws of conventional false data injection attacks and adversarial sample attacks, this paper proposes the targEted adVersarial fAlse Data injEction (EVADE) strategy to explore targeted adversarial false data injection attacks for state estimation in Smart Grid. The proposed EVADE attack strategy selects key state variables based on adversarial saliency maps to improve the attack efficiency and perturbs as few state variables as possible to reduce the attack cost. In this way, the EVADE attack strategy can bypass the detection of BDD and neural attack detection (NAD) methods (that is, maintaining deep stealthy) with a high success rate and achieve the attack target simultaneously. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy, posing serious and pressing concerns for sustainable cyber physical power system security. © 2016 IEEE.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is an intensifying and immutable condition in which the kidneys slowly reduces is actual function. CKD can be effected and induced because of various aspects like high cholesterol, blood pressure, genetic disorders, kidney inflammations and infections. This health issue is affecting millions of people across the globe. The primary objective considered is to envision disease at an early stage by implementing different algorithms on the medical records of the patients. Since early stage of diagnosis may be helpful in reducing the severity of the disease. This study has a significant concern in deciding the suitable Machine Learning (ML) algorithm that suits best for analyzing CKD based on the accuracy rate. The demonstration work is performed with the commonly utilized machine learning classifiers. As a result of the demonstration work, it is revealed that J48 algorithm has higher rate of accuracy than other conventional machine learning techniques. © 2023 IEEE.

In understanding human emotions, sentiment analysis has been invaluable in social media monitoring, consumer comment analysis, and psychological evaluations. Customer service, human-computer interface, and public mood comprehension depend on appropriate emotion categorisation. Despite its potential, sentiment analysis struggles with sarcasm, multimodal data integration, and emotion processing. Implementing real-time applications requires improving deep learning model computational complexity. Multimodal Optimised Emotion Analysis using Deep Learning (MOEA-DL) uses CNNs for image processing, RNNs for text., and LSTM networks for sequential audio data. This improves emotion recognition by combining modality strengths. Marketing sentiment, mental health monitoring, social media sentiment, and consumer feedback use MOEA-DL. Multimodal solutions are better than text-based ones for communicating emotion. Customer contacts, film reviews, and social media platforms are used to evaluate the proposed strategy. According to simulations, MOEA-DL categorises emotions more accurately and robustly than previous sentiment analysis methods. Its adaptive neural network lets the system learn and perform well in many cultural and language environments. © 2024 IEEE.
