Internet of Things (IoT) has lately been expanded across various applications, drawing significant attention to its design, where a loud industrial atmosphere can exist in the mining area. The central essence of this project was to detect hazardous events and to design a perfect, smart helmet that ensures the safety of workers. We have decided to implement a system that could be embedded in the helmets of the mine workers. Workers would be alerted via a helmet buzzer, so necessary action was taken on time. The critical feature of this project was that the model presented uses an application interface to detect real-time data and display it. The administrators outside may monitor the dynamic data from the system using a website and a mobile application. In contrast, the Android app displays or informs the data or alerts. The miners and the administrators can monitor real-time data that constantly changes according to the changes in the environment. They could also monitor the changes in temperature and humidity through graphs continuously updated on the applications. 'Rescue with Flexibility' was the main motto of our project. Thus, this project offers a directional platform that would bring a revolutionary change in this industry. © 2023 IEEE.

Healthcare, the smart grid, and supply chain management are some of the industries where IoT(Internet of Things) technology is improving. Also, it improves the way humans communicate with each other, the atmosphere, and the people around them. Internet of things achieves this by using wearable technology, embedded sensors, and automated systems. The number, types, and sizes of IoT devices are increasing. There are issues with security, authenticity, reliability, and scalability. Because of the expected growth in IoT, IoT systems must be reliable and maintainable. Blockchain has helped solve IoT network problems. Blockchain improves trust, immutability, transparency, and release of agricultural data collection, processing, and sharing. Blockchain and IOT will streamline precision farming and transform normal farms into the Internet of Smart Farms. This study describes the IoT systems have issues, and blockchain-based solutions are suggested. Additionally, it discusses current research on the degree to which blockchain technology and Internet of Things networks. IoT integration inside the blockchain issues are also covered. This article proposes to double connect IoT and blockchain using recent computing techniques. This research work intends to make data processing and storage decentralized, secure and anonymous, and seamless and fast using blockchain technology and services. © 2023 IEEE.

AZ91D magnesium alloy chips were coated with SiC powder using a binder, and injection molding was attempted using SiC powder coated magnesium chips as raw material. The metallurgical structure of the injection molded products showed uniform dispersion of SiC particles in the matrix, and there were no significant defects such as voids at the SiC particle-matrix interface. The hardness and 0.2% proof stress of the injection molded products tended to improve with increasing SiC content, while the elongation decreased with increasing SiC content. The Young's modulus of the injection molded products improved with increasing SiC content. It was confirmed that the specific bending rigidity of the injection molded products also improves due to the significant increase in the Young's modulus, although the addition of SiC leads to an increase in density. © 2024 The Japan Institute of Light Metals.

Videos on the internet have been increasingly becoming the chief source of knowledge and information in today’s digital age. However, with increasing length of videos and diminishing time to spare in everyone’s lives, a need has emerged for Video Summarization tools that can provide a good summary about the content of videos without the need to watch videos in their entirety. In this paper, we introduce a two-fold approach to fetch the subject matter of videos through effective summarization. The employed approach comprises of two phases: the first phase involves performing speech-to-text conversion using an Automatic Speech Recognition(ASR) system based on a Convolutional Neural Network(CNN) for generating respective transcripts for input videos while the second phase involves performing Extractive Text Summarization to summarize the text generated by extracting the important information.

Skin cancer is one of the majority prevalent malignancies that can be diagnosed visually and then further investigated with dermoscopic analysis and other procedures. Several skin-lesion (SL) classification methods using deep learning (DL) based on convolution-neural-network (CNN) and annotated skin photos illustrate modified results because visual observation provides the opportunity to use artificial-intelligence (AI) to intercept the various skin images at an early stage. In this regard, the research proposes a trustworthy method for identifying skin cancer using dermoscopy images, with the goal of bettering the visual perception and diagnostic abilities of medical experts. SL region of interest (RoI) segmentation from dermoscopy pictures was performed using swarm intelligence (SI) algorithms, and the RoI marked as the best segmentation oucome was subjected to feature extraction using the Grasshopper Optimization Algorithm (GOA). Using CNN and the ISIC-2017, ISIC-2018, and PH-2 data sets, the SLs are divided into two categories. Classification accuracy-sensitivity,-specificity-F -measure, precision, MCC, dice coefficient, and Jaccard index are used to evaluate the results of the proposed segmentation and classification strategies, with an average of 98.42%, 977.33%, and 0.97040%, respectively. Our proposed model outperforms the state-of the-art in every metric we considered © 2023 IEEE.

Cloud infrastructure is efficient and scalable in all aspects;hence an enhanced method of safety measures is needed for secured data transfer. Security solution for cloud centric PC's was reliable in providing the on-demand cloud services. The common way to protect file before sending the file is encrypting the file. So safe key generation and allocation to the client for file decryption is a big task. The significant method we proposed is to receive the secret key secretly by the allowed user. We proposed wellorganized algorithm to share out the secret key in cloud computing environment. In this paper the safety method used depends on two things. One is improving the security by using secure socket shell channel and the second one is sharing the secret key to the allocated user using well organized key distribution algorithm. © 2023 IEEE.

Stock market prediction is one of the most important and time-consuming processes in the financial sector. This is mainly due to the fact that many factors could influence particular stock prices dynamically. In recent days, algorithm-based predictions have become widely popular among researchers because it provides better results in terms of improved accuracy and reduced error rates. That in turn helps the investors to make precise and informed decisions. In this study, a comparative analysis of various machine learning models was performed and the results were evaluated based on performance metrics such as mean square error (MSE), root mean square error (RMSE), mean absolute error (MAE), mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) and accuracy. As society progresses, liquid identification plays an increasingly important role in human life. But for now, minority of existing liquid identification solutions on the market can meet daily requirements of being ubiquitous, cost-effective and non-intrusive enough. In this work, we propose ASLiquid, the first liquid counterfeit identification system with commercial off-the-shelf earphones. Our core insight is that earphones can effectively induce acoustic resonance in container, and this phenomenon is observed highly associated with the changes in liquid density and solute compositions. Deploying ASLiquid introduces three main challenges: hardware heterogeneity among different earphones, diversity of user operations, and data complexity due to variations in liquid volume and device placement. To address these issues, we first propose to eliminate the existence of hardware noise and frequency response diversity for an earphone-irrelevant solution. Afterwards, we design a user operation adaptation algorithm to extract valuable feature data during each measurement period. To alleviate problems in data complexity, we propose a spectrum projection algorithm that can effectively generate CFR data of unknown liquid volumes and a VAE based anomaly detection model for counterfeit identification. We evaluate our system with six different earphones and under various conditions. Experimental results reveal that ASLiquid can achieve F1 scores of 95%-99.25% for seven frequently occurring liquid counterfeit tasks, even in specialized attacks on liquids with 1% difference in mass fraction and different types of solutions but with the same density. © 2024 Copyright is held by the owner/author(s).

To solve the problem of low efficiency involved in manually inserting power sockets into soft wires, a new system called an automatic insertion wire device of mechanical arm as a part of intelligent agents has been designed. It has a manipulator end lead channel actuator, a two-degree-of-freedom manipulator, a scissor bending mechanism and a control system. A coordinate system has been established for kinematics analyses and inverse kinematics solution. The joint angles of the manipulator when reaching the terminal hole of the power socket are 47.7° and 91.3° for joint angles 1 and 2, respectively. The motions of the scissor bending mechanism are analyzed using a coordinate system, and the rotation angle of support rod 1 is found to be 32.3° after the completion of soft wire bending. A model of the actuator and scissor bending mechanism is created using SolidWorks, and motion simulations are carried out to verify the insertion of soft wire. A prototype is built and tested, which demonstrates that the angle variation range of the soft wire head part due to push block movement is between 58° and 63°, while the angle variation range of the shear fork bending mechanism to other parts of the soft wire is between 168° and 173°. All parameters meet the anticipated goal, effectively resolving the problem of low efficiency. © 2024 SPIE.

We analyse the main formula of a recently introduced nonlinear interference model for dualpolarisation four-dimensional (DP-4D) formats and its implications on improved DP-4D designs. We show that nonlinearity tolerance can be effectively controlled via a few cross-polarisation moments of the 4D constellation. © The Institution of engineering & technology 2023.
