This paper introduces a screen control mechanism for long distance interaction between Human and computer. This Paper provides solution for controlling the screen elements of different applications and browsers through laser emitting mouse and gesture recognition. The images are being captured from camera mounted on the projector and OpenCV library is used to detect the laser movements. The solution also uses Arduino as the basic processing unit for emulating mouse actions using the buttons. User commands are specified by the laser and thus the actions are initiated with the buttons on microcontroller. When near to screen the hand gesture can be activated using the mouse buttons and thus exhibiting touch screen in a projection. This Hand gesture Recognition is implemented using computer vision library of python, OpenCV, which processes images in real time. According to gesture Recognized, various tasks can be performed like switching between tabs, opening new application, Painting etc.

The cloud computing adoption in e-health has improved health services and research. An e-health cloud deployment model for Indonesia have been proposed. In this work, we simulated the e-health cloud model and implemented virtual firewalls to enhance its security. We examined the performance of the firewalls under a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks. The virtualization environment for the cloud utilized Proxmox VE, and the firewalls applied a modified ConfigServer & Firewall (CSF). DDoS-blocking scripts are modified to block IPs from attackers. First, we investigated the cloud without virtual firewalls. The average time a server could survive a DDoS attack is examined. Second, the virtual firewall capability is verified. The result shows that the average time of a server surviving a DDoS attack is 197.26 seconds, with a standard deviation is 52.99 seconds. The virtual firewall managed to block the attacker's IP address, and the server could cope a DDoS attack.
