Double image multi-encryption algorithm based on fractional chaotic time series

In this paper, a new image encryption scheme is proposed based on fractional chaotic time series. In the process of generating a key stream, we embed the fractional-order logistic chaotic time series in our scheme to improve security. Security analyses is used to describe such a scheme in detail, involving in correlation analysis, run statistic analysis, mean-variance gray value analysis, and key sensitivity analysis. We extensively evaluate our scheme on data and experimental results show that our scheme can attain high security. © 2015 American Scientific Publishers.

In this paper, we investigated and solved two issues in the research of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). Firstly, we proposed a Scalable Uniform Localization Performance evaluated model (SULP evaluated model). There are two parts of this model, modules and data structures, both of them can be customized and extended by users as they need. By using this model researchers can save more time because they pay more attention to the algorithm itself but not to the evaluate environment and parameters. Secondly, we investigated the impacts of communications radius and anchor node ratio on localization algorithms. Four classical algorithms have been evaluated under the scalable model. Experimental results show that the performance including localization error rate, localization cover rate and energy consumption have different trends when communication radius and anchor node ratio changing in a reasonable range. Finally we concluded the regulars of the trends to provide instructions to industrial applications and other researchers. ©, 2015, Binary Information Press

A facile synthetic route is presented that produces a porous Ga‐In bimetallic oxide nanophotocatalyst with atomically thin pore walls. The material has an unprecedented electronic structure arising from its ultrathin walls. The bottom of the conduction band and the top of the valence band of the material are distributed on two opposite surfaces separated with a small electrostatic potential difference. This not only shortens the distance by which the photogenerated charges travel from the sites where they are generated to the sites where they catalyze the reactions, but also facilitates charge separations in the material. The porous structure within the walls results in a large density of exposed surface reactive/catalytic sites. Because of these optimized electronic and surface structures, the material exhibits superior photocatalytic activity toward the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER).

Automotive electronics systems are being used by companies in different locations around the world. New equipment for testing is being designed to use the USB (Universal Serial Bus) port as a means to communicate with measurement instruments needed in test plans. During the last years, many technologies based on Software Common for Programmable Instruments (SCPI) have been launched into the market, and it is among them that Virtual Instrument Software architecture (VISA) outstands as one of the most complete and structured interfaces for USB communication. In this paper, we present a novel model designed under Object-oriented design principles for instrument control in Test Systems. We focus on a simple device as is the Digital Multimeter by implementing some of its basic functions. Finally, the results of our model are tested and applied in a production environment. © 2015, ICIC International.

With the continuous development of machine tool technology, the machine design requires more and more work for the precision and high quality direction. The design of the driving shaft for the whole machine tool has a very important influence. To improve the ability to make rational analysis and accurate dynamic performance of machine tool, this paper presents an analysis method of modal improved driving shaft based on the amount of calculation, the flow and the external factors are improved, the method can improve the design level of machine tool, making full analysis and detailed characteristics of the whole machine, for further improvement of the machine has a reference role in science. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

To solve the problems existing in current electric parameters monitoring system, such as bulky, high expense, difficult maintain, a new power monitor system is designed. The load on the system voltage, current, power factor, harmonics and other parameters are collected by MAXQ3180 chip, and through the SPI bus, data can be collected and provided to the AT89S52 microcontroller to preserve and manipulate. At the same time, in order to achieve decentralized control and centralized management, use CAN bus to communicate with the upper management machine to exchange data, and realize accurate measurement of electrical parameters and intelligent management. The system has a broad prospect of application in Chinese smart grid construction, which is a simple structure Circuit, easy operation, accurate measurement, high performance characteristics and so on.

RFID technology has received increasing attention;however, most of the RFID products lack security due to the hardware limitation of the low-cost RFID tags. Recently, an ultra-lightweight authentication protocol named RAPP has been proposed. Unfortunately, RAPP is insecure against several attacks. In this paper, we propose an improvement of RAPP. Using proteins in saliva as biomarkers has great advantage in early diagnosis and prognosis evaluation of health conditions or diseases. In this article, we present a computational method for predicting secreted proteins in human saliva. Firstly, we collected currently known saliva-secreted proteins and the representatives that deem to be not extracellular secretion into saliva. Secondly, we pruned the negative data concerned the imbalance condition, and then extracted the relevant features from the physicochemical and sequence properties of all remained proteins. After that, a support vector machine classifier was built which got performance of average sensitivity, specificity, precision, accuracy and Matthews correlation coefficient value to 80.67%, 90.56%, 90.09%, 85.53% and 0.7168, respectively. These results indicated that the selected features and the model are effective. Finally, a screening test was implemented to all human proteins in UniProt and acquired 5811 proteins as predicted saliva-secreted proteins which may be used as biomarker candidates for further salivary diagnosis. © 2014 Springer International Publishing Switzerland.

Reply plan is a kind of opposability plan of adversarial plan. It is impossible to design a general reply plan since the adversarial plan is complex and diverse. And the difficulties stem from the facts that reply plan cannot be rehearse. To meet these challenges, this paper presents a reply plan with defense mechanism(RPDM) inspired by the human stress response. The paper views the stress response as a template that can against threats, and exploits such properties to design the RPDM. The paper concludes with a demonstration to illustrate how the RPDM works and discusses potential applications.
