High-sensitivity room-temperature multi-dimensional infrared(IR)detection is crucial for military and civilian ***,the gapless electronic structures and unique optoelectrical properties have made the two-dimensional(2D)topological semimetals promising candidates for the realization of multifunctional optoelectronic ***,we demonstrated the in-situ construction of high-performance 1T’-MoTe_(2)/Ge Schottky junction device by inserting an ultrathin AlOx passivation *** good detection performance with an ultra-broadband detection wavelength range of up to 10.6 micron,an ultrafast response time of~160 ns,and a large specific detectivity of over 109 Jones in mid-infrared(MIR)range surpasses that of most 2D materials-based IR sensors,approaching the performance of commercial IR *** on-chip integrated device arrays with 64 functional detectors feature high-resolution imaging capability at room *** these outstanding detection features have enabled the demonstration of position-sensitive detection *** demonstrates an exceptional position sensitivity of 14.9 mV/mm,an outstanding nonlinearity of 6.44%,and commendable trajectory tracking and optoelectronic demodulation *** study not only offers a promising route towards room-temperature MIR optoelectronic applications,but also demonstrates a great potential for application in optical sensing systems.

As artificial intelligence becomes more prevalent in our lives, people are enjoying the convenience it brings, but they are also facing hidden threats, such as data poisoning and adversarial attacks. These threats can have disastrous consequences for the application of artificial intelligence, especially for some applications that take effect immediately, such as autonomous driving and medical fields. Among these threats, backdoor attacks have left a deep impression on people with their concealment and simple deployment, making them a threat that cannot be ignored, however, in the process of deploying the backdoor model, the backdoor attack often has some reasons that make it unsatisfactory in real-world applications, such as jitter and brightness changes. Based on this, we propose a highly robust backdoor attack that shifts the target sample and combines it with itself to form a backdoor sample, the Displacement Backdoor Attack(DBA). Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) has become a necessity for today's urban information and transportation systems. However, the variable and unconstrained environment in real-world applications makes the license plate (LP) detection and recognition task still challenging. In this work, we design a robust end-to-end trainable LP recognition system. It employs a simple cascade framework to achieve efficient and accurate LP detection and recognition tasks. The system corrects LPs in the LP detection phase, which greatly improves LP recognition accuracy in nonideal views. Adding the attention module (containing both channel attention and spatial attention) to the LP recognition network enhances the adaptability of the network and helps the accurate delineation of characters. Experimental results show an average recognition accuracy of 98.7% on the CCPD dataset and a very good 94.4% on the Challenge sub-dataset. In addition, simultaneous recognition of multiple LPs can be achieved on the invisible CRPD dataset, demonstrating the excellent generalization capability of our system. © 2023 IEEE.

With the successful manufacture of highly stable and high-performance satellite processors, caching on satellites has become possible. Information Centric Networking (ICN) is introduced to satellite networks to address the growing need for diverse data services. However, existing caching policies in ICN still suffer from the shortage of rational planning of cache locations and redundancy of cache contents. Consequently, the time slot correlation-based caching strategy for satellite networks (TSCCS) is proposed. Firstly, the index of time slot correlation is designed to quantify the neighboring time slots’ coupling relationship, and then the DSAM network model with time slot correlation is established. Secondly, the significance of satellite nodes is evaluated from the local and global perspectives respectively based on the eigenvector centrality algorithm to filter out the dynamic set of cache nodes. Finally, probabilistic caching is performed at the set of caching nodes with the goal of reducing cached content redundancy, considering content popularity and access delay. The simulated outcomes indicate that the TSCCS caching policy is superior to the comparison method in the areas of cache hit rate, request latency, and server load. © 2023, ICST institute for computer sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications engineering.

Human pose estimation in videos has long been a compelling yet challenging task within the realm of computer vision. Nevertheless, this task remains difficult because of the complex video scenes, such as video defocus and self-occlusion. Recent methods strive to integrate multi-frame visual features generated by a backbone network for pose estimation. However, they often ignore the useful joint information encoded in the initial heatmap, which is a by-product of the backbone generation. Comparatively, methods that attempt to refine the initial heatmap fail to consider any spatio-temporal motion features. As a result, the performance of existing methods for pose estimation falls short due to the lack of ability to leverage both local joint (heatmap) information and global motion (feature) dynamics. To address this problem, we propose a novel joint-motion mutual learning framework for pose estimation, which effectively concentrates on both local joint dependency and global pixel-level motion dynamics. Specifically, we introduce a context-aware joint learner that adaptively leverages initial heatmaps and motion flow to retrieve robust local joint feature. Given that local joint feature and global motion flow are complementary, we further propose a progressive joint-motion mutual learning that synergistically exchanges information and interactively learns between joint feature and motion flow to improve the capability of the model. More importantly, to capture more diverse joint and motion cues, we theoretically analyze and propose an information orthogonality objective to avoid learning redundant information from multi-cues. Empirical experiments show our method outperforms prior arts on three challenging benchmarks. © 2024 ACM.

In the traveling wave fault localization method, the fault traveling wave head extraction accuracy determines the fault localization accuracy, this paper proposes a transmission line fault ranging method based on ICEEMDAN-HFWEO as a way to improve the extraction accuracy of traveling wave head. Firstly, for the defect that the single line mode component of the traditional phase mode transform matrix cannot characterize all types of faults, the Clark phase mode transform matrix is improved so that the single line mode component can characterize all types of faults;on this basis, ICEEMDAN (Improved Complete Ensemble Empirical Mode Based on this, ICEEMDAN (Improved Complete Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition with Adaptive Noise) and HFWEO (Higher-order Frequency Weighted Energy Operator) are proposed as a combination of travelling waveform header extraction methods, which improves the extraction accuracy of the faulty travelling waveheads and realizes the accurate fault localization. Simulation experiments have proved that the proposed method can realize accurate fault localization of transmission lines under different transition resistances, different fault types and different fault distances, and the localization errors are less than 150m. © 2024 IEEE.

Cloud-orchestrated Internet of Things (IoT) facilitates proper utilization of network resources and placating user demands in smart communications. Multiple concurrent access (MCA) techniques designed for cloud-assisted communication helps to achieve better resource sharing features with fault tolerance ability. A multi-objective resource allocation and sharing (RAS) for balancing MCA in cloud-orchestrated IoT is presented in this article. The RAS constraints are modeled through linear programming (LP) as an optimization approach. The constraints are resolved using genetic representations (GR) for reducing the unserviced requests and failed resource allocations. Conventional genetic stages are inherited by the LP model to solve resource allocation and access issues reducing latency. The combined LP and GR jointly resolve resource allocation and MCA stagnation in cloud network. A fair outcome of LP-GR is estimation using the metrics response latency, resource utilization, request handled, and average latency. © 2020 Wiley Periodicals LLC.

Federated recommendation system usually trains a global model on the server without direct access to users' private data on their own devices. However, this separation of the recommendation model and users' private data poses a challenge in providing quality service, particularly when it comes to new items, namely cold-start recommendations in federated settings. This paper introduces a novel method called Item-aligned Federated Aggregation (IFedRec) to address this challenge. It is the first research work in federated recommendation to specifically study the cold-start scenario. The proposed method learns two sets of item representations by leveraging item attributes and interaction records simultaneously. Additionally, an item representation alignment mechanism is designed to align two item representations and learn the meta attribute network at the server within a federated learning framework. Experiments on four benchmark datasets demonstrate IFedRec's superior performance for cold-start scenarios. Furthermore, we also verify IFedRec owns good robustness when the system faces limited client participation and noise injection, which brings promising practical application potential in privacy-protection enhanced federated recommendation systems. In the study of hydraulic seepage prediction, it is often necessary to target multiple feature dimensions. In this paper, a variety of traditional machine learning algorithms based on stepwise regression filtering features are used to train a dam seepage prediction model based on isolated forest processing of data outliers. The results show that the algorithm can be applied to predict the seepage data of a reservoir more accurately, and further suggest improvements to the dam's seepage control function and observation facilities. The experimental results show that the correlation coefficient of the linear regression model is significantly improved when the training sample ratio is 0.8 after the isolated forest treatment of outliers and stepwise regression screening features. © 2023 IEEE.
