Traditional image encryption algorithms convert plaintext into noise-like images. In order to reduce the risk of encrypted images being detected by attackers during transmission, research on visually meaningful image encryption has gradually attracted attention in recent years. To obtain texture information, address image size issues and ensure the security of optical cryptography systems in visually meaningful image encryption and watermarking methods, a visually meaningful asymmetric image encryption method based on the gyrator transform and random devil's vortex phase mask is proposed. The devil's lens function, the phase function of the Fresnel zone plate and the vortex phase function are used to construct a random devil's vortex phase mask, which is used as the public key of the encryption system. Then, the visually meaningful image and gyrator transform are used to construct an asymmetric image encryption and decryption system through the amplitude and phase truncation method to generate a specific key source. The visually meaningful image is a completely natural image and does not contain original image information, effectively improving the security of the encryption system. When decrypting, fast decryption can be achieved through key sources and visually meaningful images. The experimental results show that the algorithm has high system parameter sensitivity and key sensitivity. The normalized cross-correlation coefficient (CC) value of the decrypted image is 0.9993, close to 1, and the peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) value is 41.9737. It has good robustness under Gaussian noise attacks and statistical analysis attacks with intensity coefficients less than 0.09. Ciphertext can resist statistical analysis attacks and chosen plaintext attacks, and has high security. The proposed optical asymmetry encryption method provides a new idea for fast and secure visually meaningful image encryption. © 2025, The Authors. All rights reserved.

A cylindrical Luneburg lens with a gradient-index (GRIN) profile focuses electromagnetic waves by gradually reducing the refractive index (RI) from center to edge. However, conventional designs face challenges such as complex fabrication, material limitations, narrow bandwidth, and high costs. This study introduces a 3D-printed Luneburg lens with saw-tooth structures that achieve a smooth RI gradient through unit cells with cuboidal and cylindrical air voids, precisely tuning permittivity. With a diameter of 95.9 mm, a height of 30 mm, and operation in the X-band, the lens achieves a simulated gain of 14.07 dBi. In contrast, measured gains for cuboidal and cylindrical designs are 11.91 dBi and 12.85 dBi, respectively. This method offers a low-cost, high-performance alternative for GRIN lenses. © 2025 IEEE.

Spatial transcriptomics (ST) has emerged as an advanced technology that provides spatial context to gene expression. Recently, deep learning-based methods have shown the capability to predict gene expression from WSI data using ST data. Existing approaches typically extract features from images and the neighboring regions using pretrained models, and then develop methods to fuse this information to generate the final output. However, these methods often fail to account for the cellular structure similarity, cellular density and the interactions within the *** this paper, we propose a framework named BG-TRIPLEX, which leverages boundary information extracted from pathological images as guiding features to enhance gene expression prediction from WSIs. Specifically, our model consists of three branches: the spot, in-context and global branches. In the spot and in-context branches, boundary information, including edge and nuclei characteristics, is extracted using pretrained models. These boundary features guide the learning of cellular morphology and the characteristics of microenvironment through Multi-Head Cross-Attention. Finally, these features are integrated with global features to predict the final *** experiments were conducted on three public ST datasets. The results demonstrate that our BG-TRIPLEX consistently outperforms existing methods in terms of Pearson Correlation Coefficient (PCC). This method highlights the crucial role of boundary features in understanding the complex interactions between WSI and gene expression, offering a promising direction for future research. The Hongqiling large nickel-copper-cobalt deposit(hereafter referred to as the Hongqiling deposit),a typical mafic-ultramafic copper-nickel deposit in China,boasts proven Ni(Ni)resources of approximately 22×10^(4)t,associated copper resources of 2×10^(4)t,and associated cobalt(Co)resources of 0.5×10^(4)t,with Ni reserves ranking 10th among China's magmatic nickel ***,the Hongqiling deposit is situated in the superimposed zone between the Xing'an-Mongolian orogenic belt and the circum-Western Pacific's active continental margin *** ore-bearing plutons occur within the metamorphic rocks of the Ordovician Hulan Group,with the emplacement of plutons and the locations of orebodies governed by the deep-seated Huifahe fault and its secondary NW-trending Fujia-Hejiagou-Beixinglong-Changsheng fault *** the deposit,the rock assemblages of ore-bearing plutons predominantly encompass gabbro-pyroxenite-olivine pyroxenite-pyroxene peridotite(pluton No.1)and norite-orthopyroxenite-harzburgite(pluton No.7),with ore-bearing lithofacies consisting primarily of olivine pyroxenite and pyroxenite *** Hongqiling deposit hosts stratoid,overhanging lentoid,veined,and pure-sulfide veined *** ores principally contain metallic minerals including pyrrhotite,pentlandite,chalcopyrite,violarite,and *** unidentified magma sources of ore-bearing mafic-ultramafic rocks,it is roughly accepted that the magmatic evolution in the Hongqiling deposit primarily involved fractional crystallization and crustal *** ore-forming materials were primarily derived from the upper mantle,mixed with minor crustal *** ore-bearing mafic-ultramafic rocks in the deposit,primarily emplaced during the Indosinian(208-239 Ma),were formed in an intense extension setting followed by the collisional orogeny between the North China Plate and the Songnen-Zhangguangcai Range Block during the Middle-Late *** the perspective of the metallogen

Observing topology and communication process in real time is critical for dealing with unexpected situations of Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks (UWSNs). However, due to low bandwidth, limited energy, and severe collisions of underwater acoustic communication, UWSNs are unbearable to afford communication overhead of additional packets for visualization. Moreover, each packet only records the transmission information of one single hop, which imposes great challenges to match nodes with transmission results, failing to visualize the whole propagation path of one packet in multi-hop UWSNs. To this end, we propose a 3D data visualization system (TDVS) to visualize UWSNs' topology and communication process in real time without extra communication overhead. TDVS consists of three parts: data collection, data process and UWSNs presentation. Data collection method is proposed to collect UWSNs' status by overhearing packets on the broadcast acoustic channel, without additional energy consumption. Then we design a data process algorithm to extract and analyze visualization-related data from discrete and redundant packets, achieving sending and receiving match, success storage, error reproduction, and collision retrieval. UWSNs presentation module visualizes network topology, data propagation path, data content, and node movement with 3D models and animations. We verified stability and accuracy of TDVS in a NS-3 based simulator called Aqua-Sim-Tg and a 20-heterogeneous-node network sea trial in Dalian, China. © 2023 IEEE.

In the current study,a homogenous ultra-fine grained microstructure with average grain size of 1.0μm is achieved in the Mg-Zn-Ca-Mn alloy through the reduplicative equal channel angular pressing(ECAP)at 300℃,and the mechanical properties are remarkably improved,with room-temperature yield strength of 269.6 MPa and elongation of 22.7%.The twinning deformation results in a discontinuous recrystallization behavior in the initial stage of *** further deformation,the continuously dynamic recrystallization contributes to an obvious grain refinement *** activation of non-basal slip system leads to the formation of a unique basal texture,which is related to the elevated ECAP temperature and the decreased grain *** grain refinement and texture modification derived from ECAP process result in the increase of yield strength,while the cracked secondary phase particles are beneficial to the enhanced ductility,through reducing the stress concentration and hindering premature failure.

Smart cities are increasingly evolving, initializing new strategies, and programs that have a significant influence on policy making and scheduling while coexisting with urban facilities. To recognize urban planning offers to a smarter city context, it is now necessary to understand the contribution of the smart city in overall urban planning and vice versa. Currently, transportation has been seen as a connection to all aspects of life across the world. This article presents the results of a survey testing into whether the public supports the concept of green transportation in the smart cities. The green urban mobility model has been proposed to investigate urban traffic information to characterize important features of smart mobility in the smart cities. The development of intelligent transportation systems using the proposed model that makes traffic easier in the city to transport safe and more comfortable. The experimental results suggest the required factors of green transportation and realistic behavior of smart mobility. © 2020 Wiley Periodicals LLC.

As China's social economy progresses, the amount of equipment in distribution networks continues to grow, leading to increasingly complex system operations. In this environment, traditional centralized control methods consume excessive computing resources and fail to achieve the processing speeds required by modern intelligent distribution networks. To address these challenges, this article introduces the concept of electrical distance to segment the distribution network and proposes voltage regulation algorithms based on the alternating direction multiplier method and dual ascent method for efficient distributed voltage regulation.

Multi-Target Track Initiation in Heavy Clutter

In the heavy clutter environment, the information capacity is large,the relationships among information are complicated, and track initiationoften has a high false alarm rate or missing alarm rate. Obviously, it is adifficult task to get a high-quality track initiation in the limited measurementcycles. This paper studies the multi-target track initiation in heavy *** first, a relaxed logic-based clutter filter algorithm is presented. In thealgorithm, the raw measurement is filtered by using the relaxed logic *** not only design a kind of incremental and adaptive filtering gate, but alsoadd the angle extrapolation based on polynomial extrapolation. The algorithm eliminates most of the clutter and obtains the environment with highdetection rate and less clutter. Then, we propose a fuzzy sequential Houghtransform-based track initiation algorithm. The algorithm establishes a newmeshing rule according to system noise to balance the relationship between thegrid granularity and the track initiation quality. And a flexible superpositionmatrix based on fuzzy clustering is constructed, which avoids the transformation error caused by 0–1 voting method in traditional Hough *** addition, the algorithm allows the superposition matrixes of nonadjacentcycles to be associated to overcome the shortcoming that the track can’t beinitiated in time when the measurements appear in an intermittent way. Anda slope verification method is introduced to detect formation-intensive serialtracks. Last, the sliding window method is employed to feedback the trackinitiation results timely and confirm the track. Simulation results verify thatthe proposed algorithms can initiate the tracks accurately in heavy clutter.
