Scientific documents are unstructured data consisting of natural language and hard for scientists to read and manage. Keywords are very helpful for scientists to search the related documents and know about their contents in a prompt way. In this paper we investigate a kind of data preprocessing technique used in SVM-based keyword extraction from scientific documents. Four definitions of regular scientific documents are proposed, and the analysis on the experimental results is performed based on the proposed definitions. The experimental results confirm the intuition that abstract is important for keywords extraction. © 2009 IEEE.

Combinatorial explosion is a key issue that leads to failures of planning for many planners. To avoid it, we modified the planner of IPP and divided its fact file into several small parts, and the method is called goal-decompounded. We also expanded the arithmetic of IPP. The modified planner we called MF-IPP able to handle multiple fact files, which avoided the combinatorial explosion. We applied the method on the GUI test case generation. The main idea was to produce the initial test case from planner firstly, and then propose a way of solution expanding to reinforce the generation. At last, we compared the performance of the two planners, and the result showed that MF-IPP can avoid the combinatorial explosion well. ©2009 IEEE.

As an effective scanning method with no damage, the CT scanning technique is used more widely in studying the dynamic deformation of frozen soil. Aiming at stability and dynamic deformation of frozen soil, the structural change before and after a dynamic tri-axial test, failure type and their main affecting factors of frozen soil taken from roadbed of Qinghai-Tibet Railway are discussed from microstructure according to CT scanning results. It indicates that water content, temperature and confining pressure are the main affecting factors. Change of density, strength and modulus during dynamical deformation decreases with an increase of water content and confining pressure, similarly the changes of the microstructure and structure. When temperature decreases, density, strength and modulus decrease rapidly, but the microstructure and structural changes decreases. When axial dynamic strength decreases, degradation of density, strength, modulus changes from large to small at the beginning and then from small to large, but structure change and demagnification are the reverse of that. The dynamic failure type of the frozen soil depends on the composite in condition of higher water content and lower temperature, but belongs to loose expand and border cracking when water content is lower, belongs to equally expand type when confining pressure or temperature is higher, belongs to composite and uniform expand type when confining pressure is lower and water content is higher, and belongs to loose failure type when confining pressure is higher and water content is lower. To frozen soil, these CT scanning results and recognition not only benefit the study pf stability and dynamic deformation, but also provide important data for further dynamic characteristics studies and establishing dynamic deformation models. © 2009 ASCE.

The Multimedia Messaging Service(MMS) system mainly focus on supporting multimedia function, by the GPRS channel, transfer video file, photo, audio file, text file, and so on. Based on this function, the implementation of the image communication between wireless modules, between wireless module and mobile phone, between wireless module and computer became true. This paper describe the MMS system framework based on the embedded GSM/GPRS wireless modules, MMS system protocol and the software implementation of the MMS protocol.

A blind robust digital image watermarking scheme using chaotic encryption and HVS in DWT domain is presented. Firstly, the original image is transformed into some sub-band coefficients using discrete wavelet transformation (DWT), and then the binary image watermark signal is encrypted using logistic chaos map before it is embedded. Taking into account the characteristics of human visual system (HVS), the watermark is embedded into the important sub-band coefficients. Because of the multi-resolution decomposition for DWT and meaningful HVS, the proposed scheme can achieve good robustness, which is demonstrated in the following experiments.

An increasing number of databases are becoming web accessible through form-based query interfaces, therefore, this paper proposes a novel method of filling forms on deep web data integration system, which contains three sub-models: query analyzer, query processor and query submission. Query analyzer is used to match each local interface schema and integration interface schema to judge the match type by ontology. Query processor is used to capture the matching relationships from query analyzer, and decompose the queries of integration interface which are submitted by users. Queries will be distributed and forms will be automatically translated to multi-database entries for implementing multi-databases searching under an integration interface, which is transparent to users in searching of multi-databases. A modified version of Kaczmarz algorithm for improving image reconstruction from projections in computerized tomography is proposed. Instead of taking projection onto hyperplanes sequentially in the given order in each iteration by classical Kaczmarz algorithm, the proposed algorithm does projection in an adaptive order which is evaluated from pseudo measurement error of each hyperplane. Since this algorithm proceeds with a basic aspect of traditional Kaczmarz algorithm, it can suit a variety of Kaczmarz extended algorithm. Numerical experiments described in the last part of the paper indicate that the Modified Kaczmarz algorithm gives much better results than the classical one.

To achieve higher education internationalization and cultivate the more new comprehensive talents, it is necessary to have the better and rapidly connects with the international community. According to the intrinsic relation between computer and English, and the importance of computer courses for implementing bilingual teaching in financial and economical colleges, a more perfect and effective method of bilingual teaching based on years of teaching experience in practice is proposed in this paper. In addition, a new teaching mode which can improve the comprehensive capacity of undergraduates is also introduced in this paper. It can build a good basis and provide a feasible approach to educate the comprehensive talents by performing bilingual teaching that are needed urgently in international communities.
