In recent times, the spotlight has been on understanding and forecasting water quality, owing to the variety of pollutants that pose potential harm. This research aims to advance strategies for managing and minimizing water pollution risks by examining the application of machine learning models for water quality classification. The algorithms under scrutiny include Logistic Regression, K-Nearest Neighbors Classifier, Support Vector Machine, Decision Tree, and Random Forest Classifier. These models underwent testing on a wate-potability dataset with 10 features, and their performance was assessed using various accuracy metrics, precision, fl-score and recall, where parameter tuning is also applied lastly for increasing better performace. The findings indicate that the proposed models effectively categorize water quality, with the Random Forest Classifier emerging as the most accurate in making predictions with 80% before parameter tuning and with 81% after parameter tuning. The. pkl pickle library has been employed to save the random forest classifier, ensuring its accessibility and usefulness in the future. Through this process, the ultimate model has been stored, facilitating its application in forecasting outcomes on unseen datasets in upcoming *** research where the prediction is made on the dataset to categorize the water as potable or non-potable. © 2024 IEEE.

Text-to-speech (TTS) turns written text into spoken words using artificial voices. This uses natural language processing (NLP) and speech synthesis to make audio from text input. TTS has many uses - for people with visual impairments, hands-free communication, voiceovers for multimedia content. The development of neural network-based models like WaveNet and Tacotron has made synthetic speech much more natural and expressive. This paper reviews the history of TTS, the key components and techniques of modern TTS and future directions including emotion and personalization in synthetic speech. We also explore the ethical considerations and societal impacts of TTS and why we need to be responsible with its development and deployment. © 2024 IEEE.

According to the latest estimations by the World Organization from their research, it is known that there is a large population across the world who are not gifted with perfect vision, recently estimated as 2.2 billion. And along with blindness comes around many challenges like walking, accessing the current technology, socializing, identifying basic things such as medicine, reading, cooking, and many more. And one of the most challenging things a visually impaired person can face is recognizing currency notes. The motive of the research is to evaluate the performance of the ground-breaking technologies, i.e., Artificial intelligence and Machine learning in recognizing different kinds of banknotes but also provide the voice assistance to the system. Previous studies include the images of the banknote directly fed to AlexNet and, the currency note picture with various orientations and taken in different environments are fed into the machine learning classification using one of the algorithms such as K-Nearest Neighbours (KNN). © Grenze Scientific Society, 2024.

In the digital age, image forgery is a significant concern due to advanced editing tools. This study addresses the need for reliable forgery detection, focusing on copy-move, splicing, and retouching techniques. Using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) known for learning hierarchical image features, the research developed a robust detection system. The CNN model, trained on a diverse dataset which has over 10,000+ images and it is split into test and train data for better classification results, detected subtle inconsistencies indicative of manipulation, achieving a peak accuracy of 94% over 50 training epochs. Test cases showed the system effectively detected forged images and identified forgery types, though it had shortcomings with invalid inputs. The CNN architecture employed convolutional and max-pooling layers with specific hyperparameters to enhance feature extraction. This paper offers a valuable tool for digital forensics experts, law enforcement, and journalists to ensure the authenticity of visual content. © 2024 IEEE.

Grape farming is a globally significant agricultural practice, but grapevines frequently encounter viral, fungal, and bacterial infections that compromise crop quality and yield. Conventional disease detection methods are labor-intensive and require significant expertise. This study investigates deep learning techniques, focusing on EfficientNet models, to automate grape leaf disease identification and classification. The transfer learning approach was applied to train and fine-tune EfficientNet models on a publicly available dataset with four classes: black rot, leaf blight, esca, and healthy leaves. A model performance was measured through accuracy and loss metrics. EfficientNetB0 achieved accuracy of 92.45% and 96.73%, and loss of 0.197 and 0.098, on training and validation data, respectively. However, EfficientNetB5 and EfficientNetB7 gave validation accuracies of 96.07% and 96.39%, respectively. The accuracy and loss trends demonstrate that EfficientNetB0 outperforms the other two counterparts. This approach highlights the potential of EfficientNetB0 for accurate, efficient grape disease detection and classification. © 2025 IEEE.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a significant technological advancement that uses the internet to enable seamless communication between various devices, allowing people and objects to connect anytime and from anywhere. In this research, we present an intelligent smart automation model that can remotely operate household appliances and water the garden plants from anywhere in the world. 'Home automation' is a quickly emerging technology that minimizes the work that humans must perform. Certain home automation systems are offered to people seeking luxurious, advanced home automation systems. This method is safe because it works best for the elderly and disabled people. However, certain people could find it more challenging to use certain systems because of their special demands. The system's primary features are voice recognition and intelligent interaction. Our main objective is to develop an advanced home automation system that has combined Alexa with the ESP 8266 module to improve security, reduce power consumption and minimize user effort. The model includes two essential sensors, a soil moisture sensor, a temperature and humidity sensor. All hardware components in this model are cost-effective, readily available, and easily replaceable. © 2024 IEEE.

Image captioning is the process of generating a textual description that accurately represents the features of an image. In the realm of deep learning, this task is of utmost significance and has a wide range of uses. Image captioning involves converting an image, represented as a sequence of pixels, into a sequence of words that are relevant to the image. It can be seen as an end-to-end and sequence-to-sequence challenge, as both the language and visual aspects need to be processed. In this regard, recurrent neural networks are employed for the language processing, while convolutional neural networks are used to extract feature vectors from the images. The findings of this study highlight the effectiveness of this method and show how diverse applications in image processing and description generation are possible. This work promotes the incorporation of these methods into actual image captioning systems in order to provide more precise and contextually appropriate image descriptions. © 2023 IEEE.

In today's society, many differently abled people, especially ones with completely impaired movement, depend on others for their daily activities. Although their movement is restricted they are certainly capable of high thought. If only this ability was tapped, they will finally have a means to communicate and even end up doing more than ones who are not differently abled. The only major challenge being that the provision of a device that is of low cost, is affordable and interprets a person's choice accurately. Although techniques such as electroencephalography (EEG) signals for blink detection can be an effective solution for detecting brain activity and eye movement, and translating their choices, EEG-based devices can cause seizures. Instead, a person's series of eye blinks can be detected and converted into a meaningful sentence. By providing a predefined look up table with meaning sentences corresponding to various blink patterns, the blinks can act as a bridge and thus help the person not only communicate but also extend the application to control a variety of things such as the wheelchair, home appliances, etc without depending on others. © 2023 IEEE.
