Smart traffic management of automobiles has been one of the utmost sought-after issues in the academic community due to the ever-increasing pace of urbanization and civilization over the last several centuries. Vehicle dissection, traffic density appraisal, and vehicle tracing are the three main components of smart traffic management. This problem becomes more difficult to resolve when there are occlusions, background clutter, and fluctuations in traffic density. In light of this need, we explore a deeper learning approach based on R-CNN s for faster vehicle segmentation in this study. There is adaptive backdrop modeling in the computational framework. It solves problems with lighting and shadows as well. The use of topological active net deformable models allows for segmentation that is more precise. The deformations mentioned can be accomplished with the aid of topological and stretched topological active nets. Minimizing energy allows for mesh deformation. Using a tweaked version of the stretched topological active net improves the segmentation accuracy to 98.3%. The investigational findings show that this framework is better than other methods. © 2025 IEEE.

MoS2 coating with cerium additive can increase the friction performance of the substrate. In this paper, the friction of two types of Ce coatings has been studied, with particle sizes of 10 nm and 40 nm, proportions of 1%, 2%, and 4%. Microscopy and a developed tribometer were used to characterize the friction properties of these coatings. The results show Ce particles can make the surface structure of the coating more uniform. The 2% 10 nm Ce and 1% 40 nm Ce particle coatings showed lower friction coefficient values of 0.056, and 0.05, and the wear scars of these two coatings were also uniform. To find the best solid lubricating coating, the 2% 10 nm and 1% 40 nm Ce particle coatings were carried out with other experiments. The 1%, 40 nm coating has a basic coefficient of friction (0.069) showing better friction performance. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

A detailed methodology of generation of figures of Warli art (an ancient tribal art) using precise computational geometry, advanced trigonometry and intelligent computer vision techniques, has been presented in this chapter. The figures have been generated for both the genders- male and female. The visual variances between the genders are attributed to carefully chosen phenotypic traits and differences in anatomical structures, that have been incorporated during generation of the images. A total of 60,000 images have been generated in multiple batches, with both genders in almost equal proportions. The batches of images generated are properly labelled and annotated and finally split into training and validation data. The whole directory structure has been carefully formatted so that it can be used effectively as data set for future model training. In-fact, the data set generated has been used to train Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN) based models and has produced promising results. The entire work is done using spherical polar coordinates, instead of complex fractal geometry. All the sequential steps of the closed loop operation have been performed to generate aesthetically pleasing figures, viable for multi facet uses in the future. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Text analysis refers to finding the inner meaning of textual data where it may vary based on the representation. Bangla text analysis is a trending topic due to its huge demand and hence researchers are devoted to finding new ways regularly to do so. The current works on Bangla text analysis either focused on Sentiment Analysis (SA) or Emotion Recognition (ER) separately. Moreover, the works utilized a single method like machine learning, deep learning, or rule-based approach solely. Hence, there is a lack of a framework that simultaneously conducts both SA and ER through a hybrid approach to enhance the analyzing performance. In this paper, we have proposed a framework to perform both SA and ER on Bangla text data through a newly developed hybrid approach. It initially applies five machine learning algorithms on two manually generated datasets (for SA and ER) separately and then picks the best outcome via the developed hybrid approach for both datasets. Finally, the experimental analysis shows the efficacy of our proposed framework over state-of-the-art works.

For monitoring the paste concentration, existing techniques, such as ultrasonic concentration meters and neutron meters, suffer from radiation hazards and low precision in high concentrations. This paper proposes a novel non-contact concentration measurement method based on deep learning. With the dataset collected by preparing the paste with different concentrations and taking photographs from the paste surface, a convolutional neural network is trained to extract the features from images and predict the concentration. The experiments indicate that the measurement accuracy is close to 88.79 % for the manual stirring paste dataset and 91.42 % for the automatic stirring paste dataset, which are sufficient in industrial applications. As a substitution of traditional concentration measurement instruments, the proposed vision-based concentration measurement method is non-contact and its accuracy is sufficient in industrial applications. © 2024 IEEE.

Clinical trials (CTs) continue to be the cornerstone of secure and efficient medication development. Considering the increasingly data-driven and personalized medical paradigm in healthcare, businesses and regulators must make use of customized artificial intelligence (AI) solutions that facilitate rapid and efficient clinical research. Numerous clinical trials have been carried out by researchers as a result of the growing need for novel treatments and other therapeutic interventions. Treatment trials provide a high quality of evidence, which makes them the primary method for assessing novel treatment therapies. The growing volume of data that needs to be considered while organizing and carrying out clinical trials has resulted in longer trial durations, greater expenses, and worse productivity. Clinical trial designers and administrators may be able to reach a larger audience by utilizing e-technologies, which could also lower costs and increase trial efficiency. E-technology challenges may be met with thoughtful preparation, helpful collaborations, and foresight. Web- and smartphone-based apps are becoming indispensable tools due to their growing function and the public's and scientists' growing usage of these platforms. © 2024 IEEE.

Recently, industrial digital twins have been widely adopted to create a digital replica of the industrial sites for real-time simulation, intelligent decision-making, and automatic feedback control. However, the bi-directional information flows between the physical twin and digital twin are facing unique challenges in guaranteeing data authenticity and improving data searchability. Existing studies propose employing blockchain-empowered industrial digital twins to authenticate the information flow. They also consider improving data security and privacy and deploying blockchain-empowered industrial digital twins on emerging 6G and edge networks. However, they neglect the provision of high-efficiency data query services. This work is the first to consider the searchability issue in blockchain-empowered industrial digital twins. We propose a general system architecture of blockchain-empowered industrial digital twins applicable for various applications. The key novelty of this work lies in the proof-of-similarity blockchain consensus mechanism that significantly improves the search efficiency of industrial digital twins data. More specifically, proof of similarity guarantees that the generated block contains semantically similar data and a block summary. Then, the blockchain queries will be compared with the block summaries before entering the transactions in the blocks. In this way, up to 9 2. 0 % of the blocks can be skipped during blockchain query, resulting in an 87.4% reduction of the average query completion time. © 2024 IEEE.

Salient detection is an active and critical area that is designed within the detection of items of a video recording, nonetheless, it attracts elevated interest among scientists. With rising powerful video clip information, the overall performance of saliency item detection techniques is degrading with typical item detection techniques. The problems lie with blurry moving goals, super-fast motion of items as well as dynamic background or background occlusion alteration on foreground areas within the video clip frames. This kind of obstacle leads to bad saliency detection. This paper models a full mastering design to deal with the difficulties, and that works on an advanced framework by merging the thought of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) with firefly Optimization technique for video clip saliency detection. Good utilization of the firefly algorithm together with CRNN is completed for the removal of characteristics by the video clips for item recognition. The primary objective of this newspaper is to present an effective hyperparameter choice framework for Convolution Recurrent Neural Networks (CRNNs) that employ one of the more popular swarm intelligence methods, the firefly algorithm. The suggested technique goals at creating a spatiotemporal design that exploits temporal, local, and spatial restriction cues to attain worldwide SEO. The process of locating the salient items in deep benchmark powerful video recording datasets will be completed by recording the temporal, local, and spatial restriction characteristics with all the CRNN. The CRNN is examined on benchmark datasets from typical video clip salient item detection techniques within the terminology of accuracy and load of Computation. The tests show that the proposed design accomplishes enhanced overall performance compared to some other existing versions which prove to significantly satisfy all the traditional object detection models. © 2023 IEEE.

Internet of Things (IoT) is currently employed in almost all the areas, including applications in smart cities, smart homes, e-Wellbeing, and others. Due to its wider utilization, IoT security has become a serious concern. A secure Intrusion Detection System (IDS) for the Internet of Things is often built using artificial intelligence (AI) and its subsets, deep learning (DL), and machine learning (ML). Industrial IoT devices, which are readily available, are regularly used by researchers and industry experts. This research study investigates the possibility of deploying a DL-Based Host-IDS (DL-HIDS) on specific commercial IoT devices. In this study, an optimized Convolutional Neural Network (O-CNN) based on DL is used. The proposed model's efficiency is evaluated by utilizing performance metrics like recall, precision, accuracy, and f1score. The proposed model's effectiveness is verified by analyzing the promising results obtained from the implementation of the proposed DL-HIDS on various existing models. © 2023 IEEE.
