Accurate classification of diseases, such as heart disease and breast cancer, is crucial in the medical field. It enables early detection, appropriate treatment planning, and improved patient outcomes, emphasizing the need for precise classification models. This study aims to evaluate and compare the performance of three widely used decision tree classifiers, namely ID3, C4.5, and CART, using the Statlog heart disease dataset and the Wisconsin Breast Cancer Database (WBCD). Additionally, it explores the impact of oversampling, feature selection, and hyperparameter tuning on the Machine Learning(ML) pipeline. Results indicate that C4.5 consistently outperforms ID3 and CART in both datasets. Furthermore, integrating oversampling, feature selection, and hyperparameter tuning techniques with the C4.5 classifier notably improves F1 scores on the datasets. These findings underscore the significance of these components in enhancing classification efficiency, highlighting strategies for robust ML pipelines tailored to medical data. © 2024 IEEE.

One of the most perplexing issues confronting higher education institutions today is how to increase student placement performance. Placement estimation becomes more complex as the number of educational institutions increases. Educational organizations explore more efficient technologies to assist them in improving their decision-making practices, as well as in developing creative methods. Providing new insight into instructional processes is a critical component in resolving quality issues. Machine learning methods are used to extract information from historical data contained in the libraries of educational organizations. Our model will generate a recommendation system that forecasts the placement level of a student. This model assists an organization’s selection cell in identifying prospective students, assessing their technical and interpersonal abilities, and assisting them in developing them. Students in their pre-final and final years of B. Tech programs may also use this work to determine their individual placement status and probability of achieving it. This research presents a novel framework for automated web application security scanning and information gathering using the Axiom methodology. The framework assists organizations and security researchers in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in web applications by automating the discovery of publicly available assets and filtering targets based on initial responses, open ports and other criteria. The use of the Axiom methodology allows for faster scanning times and distributed scanning, making it useful for bug bounties and penetration testing. The framework's performance, limitations and challenges are evaluated. The research demonstrates the potential of the framework in improving the efficiency and scalability of web application security while emphasizing the need for proper configuration and ethical considerations. © 2023 IEEE.

Virtual reality with its 3D visualization have brought an overwhelming change in the face of medical education, especially for courses like human anatomy. The proposed virtual reality system to bring massive improvements in the education received by a medical student studying for their degree courses. The project puts forward the text-to-speech and speech-to-text aligned system that simplifies the usage of a chatbot empowered by OpenAI GPT-4 and allows pupils to vocally speak with Avatar, the set virtual assistant. Contrary to the current methodologies, the setup of virtual reality is powered by avatars and thus covers an enhanced virtual assistant environment. Avatars offer students the set of repeated practicing of medical procedures on it, and the real uniqueness in the proposed product. The developed virtual reality environment is enhanced over other current training techniques where a student should interact and immerse in three-dimensional human organs for visualization in three dimensions and hence get better knowledge of the subjects in greater depth. A virtual assistant guides the whole process, giving insights and support to help the student bridge the gap from theory to practice. Then, the system is essentially Knowledge based and Analysis based approach. The combination of generative AI along with embodied virtual agents has great potential when it comes to customized virtual conversation assistant for much wider range of applications. The study brings out the value of acquiring hands-on skills through simulated medical procedures and opens new frontiers of research and development in AI, VR, and medical education. In addition to assessing the effectiveness of such novel functionalities, the study also explores user experience related dimensions such as usability, task loading, and the sense of presence in proposed virtual medical environment. © 2024 IEEE.

Ample acceptance of Blockchain technology in today's business world has increased number of use cases tremendously beyond cryptocurrencies for which it was originally developed. Hyperledger Fabric, as an enterprise-grade permissioned Blockchain platform, offers a secure and scalable infrastructure for diverse applications, including financial services. Since performance evaluation of the platform play major role in acceptability of the technology for various applications, in this research article we are presenting a comprehensive performance analysis of the Hyperledger Fabric Blockchain platform with the help of standard benchmarking tool-Hyperledger Caliper for Cross-Border Fund Transfer (CBFT) application and results are validated using existing queuing theory based theoretical model for Hyperledger Fabric. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the most popular Blockchain platform's performance under various workloads and network conditions. By capturing the interactions between network participants and consensus mechanisms, we have presented latency analysis along with the insights into the platform's scalability and efficiency. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of Blockchain technology and aids in the design of more efficient and robust Blockchain-based applications. © 2024 The Authors. Parkinson's disease is a common neurological condition that predominantly im-pacts people who are older than fifty, leading to speech impairments and movement diffi-culties. Timely diagnosis of PD is essential for efficient care and improved patient outcomes, especially considering the global aging population. Our paper introduces a new method for the early identification of Parkinson's disease utilizing machine learning techniques and the Xception architecture. Our focus lies on analyzing spiral and wave drawings, commonly used in clinical diagnosis. We curated a dataset comprising such drawings from individuals with and without PD and processed the data for model training. Leveraging the Xception architecture, our machine learning models achieved promising results, with a training accu-racy of 95.34% for spiral drawings and 93.34% for wave drawings, along with validation accuracies of 93.00% and 86.00%, respectively. Our highlight the capabilities of machine learning methodologies and the Xception architecture in improving the precision and accu-racy of the diagnosis of Parkinson's disease. Implementing our proposed approach could significantly advance early detection efforts, thereby enhancing patient care and quality of life. © Grenze Scientific Society, 2024.

In the evolving landscape of business networks, the imperative to optimize power consumption has become paramount, particularly within the context of mixed wireless environments. This study introduces a novel approach to enhancing energy efficiency through cooperative communication strategies, tailored for heterogeneous networks that comprise a mix of cellular, Wi-Fi, and other wireless technologies. The core proposition of this research lies in leveraging the inherent diversity and redundancy in mixed wireless environments to facilitate energy-efficient communication. By employing advanced cooperative communication techniques, such as relay-assisted transmission and network coding, the proposed method significantly reduces the power required for data transmission and reception across various network segments. The methodology encompasses a comprehensive framework that models the network as a unified system, enabling the identification and exploitation of opportunities for power savings without compromising communication reliability or throughput. A set of sophisticated algorithms underpins the proposed framework, ensuring optimal decision-making regarding routing, resource allocation, and mode selection in real-time. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is validated through rigorous simulation studies, which demonstrate substantial improvements in power efficiency compared to conventional communication strategies. The results highlight the potential of cooperative communication in achieving sustainable and energy-efficient business networks, paving the way for greener and more cost-effective operations in mixed wireless environments. © 2024 IEEE.

Background: Medical imaging has developed into a vital diagnostic tool for radiologists and physicians over the past few decades. However, depending only on one imaging modality frequently yields incomplete data, making it difficult to correctly diagnose illnesses, lesions, and molecular activity. The field of medical image fusion research is expanding due to the increasing need for complete anatomical and physiological data. Method: In this paper, we offer an effective hybrid multi-modal medical image fusion framework. Our system uses a traditional fusion method to first break down the raw images. A pre-trained VGG-16 network processes the obtained coefficients to efficiently extract features. For low-level coefficients, these characteristics are fused using a maximum selection method, and for high-level coefficients, an attention fusion rule. A reverse transformation is then applied to rebuild the fused coefficients. Results: The results of this study show that the proposed strategy performs exceptionally well in terms of entropy and (SSIM) on comparing with different fusion methods. Its third Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) and second Mutual Information (MI) rankings demonstrate its durability and image fusion performance. Conclusion: This hybrid method offers a powerful tool for better diagnosis and analysis by greatly improving the quality and information content of fused medical images. © 2024 IEEE.

In the healthcare domain revolution, emerging technologies provide innovative solutions to enhance patient care and medical research. Each new concept has potential for specific problems, and they also have some challenges. Blockchain has multiple features, including distributed ledger, decentralized storage, authentication, security, and immutability, which greatly solve complex healthcare problems. Blockchain plays an essential role in healthcare applications such as preserving and sharing patient data, diagnostic labs, and pharmacy stores to effectively handle narcotic and other prescribed drugs for safe use by clinicians, handling the patient medical records and clinical trial data. technology also improves the security of patient medical records and the efficient operation of healthcare organizations. One of the recent applications of blockchain in the healthcare system is customized function to personalized medicine in the health information technology by providing shareable private keys by the healthcare providers.
