In recent decades,fog computing has played a vital role in executing parallel computational tasks,specifically,scientific workflow *** cloud data centers,fog computing takes more time to run workflow ***,it is essential to develop effective models for Virtual Machine(VM)allocation and task scheduling in fog computing *** task scheduling,VM migration,and allocation,altogether optimize the use of computational resources across different fog *** process ensures that the tasks are executed with minimal energy consumption,which reduces the chances of resource *** this manuscript,the proposed framework comprises two phases:(i)effective task scheduling using a fractional selectivity approach and(ii)VM allocation by proposing an algorithm by the name of Fitness Sharing Chaotic Particle Swarm Optimization(FSCPSO).The proposed FSCPSO algorithm integrates the concepts of chaos theory and fitness sharing that effectively balance both global exploration and local *** balance enables the use of a wide range of solutions that leads to minimal total cost and makespan,in comparison to other traditional optimization *** FSCPSO algorithm’s performance is analyzed using six evaluation measures namely,Load Balancing Level(LBL),Average Resource Utilization(ARU),total cost,makespan,energy consumption,and response *** relation to the conventional optimization algorithms,the FSCPSO algorithm achieves a higher LBL of 39.12%,ARU of 58.15%,a minimal total cost of 1175,and a makespan of 85.87 ms,particularly when evaluated for 50 tasks.

Software effort estimation using convolutional neural network and fuzzy clustering

Adopting an efficient software process model is critical for building high-quality software applications. An important factor impacting the software development process is an accurate estimate of human effort required to complete the software project. While machine learning methods were historically used to develop estimation models, there has been little investigation into the potential of deep convolutional neural networks (DCNNs) for improving software effort estimation. One of the biggest obstacles in using DCNN for this purpose is the common nature of software datasets, which often consist of vectorized samples rather than matrices. To defeat this obstacle and reduce vagueness in software attribute measurement, this study uses Fuzzy theory to generate an appropriate two-dimensional datapoint representation. The fuzzy clustering is commonly used to split dataset samples into separate clusters, which can help to generate Fuzzy membership functions. This approach makes it easier to generate a two-dimensional array representation for each data sample based on the membership values, allowing it to be used as input to the DCNN model. The efficiency of the proposed model was thoroughly evaluated using PROMISE benchmark datasets. The findings based on mean absolute errors and standardized accuracy show that our proposed model produced very good performance with low error rates and outperformed several current state-of-the-art effort estimation models. Nonetheless, further research is needed to determine the impact of different cluster numbers and features on the performance of our model. In conclusion, this study emphasizes the possibility for incorporating DCNN into software effort estimates and highlights the viability of utilizing fuzzy modeling and clustering techniques to enhance the data representation of software datasets. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature 2024.

NeuroProbe: A Performance Profiling Feed Forward Neural Network Simulator for Hardware Interaction Analysis

NeuroProbe is a simple neural network simulator designed by authors specifically for educational purposes focusing on simulating inference phase on a computationally capable embedded hardware, aiming to provide a deeper understanding of hardware interactions and performance improvement. This simulator incorporates performance profiling capabilities, allowing students and educators to analyze and optimize the performance of a simulated trained neural network. By simulating the intricate hardware interactions, NeuroProbe enables users to gain insights into how various components impact the overall performance of neural networks. Using this simulator, learners can experiment with different configurations and architectures, identify potential bottlenecks, and explore optimization strategies to enhance neural network performance before deploying the model on an Edge Computing environment. It also enriches computer science education by enabling learners to gain deeper insights into hardware interactions and performance improvement. By identifying performance bottlenecks, learners can refine their understanding of neural networks and develop skills in optimizing their models for enhanced performance. In conclusion, NeuroProbe empowers users to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation of neural network on an embedded device, fostering a more comprehensive understanding of neural networks and their hardware requirements. Currently, it is focused solely on single-threaded CPU-based computation enabling SSE, AVX. At present, NeuroProbe does not support SIMD extensions such as AVX-FMA, AVX-512, multi-threaded computation, and accelerators such as NPU, TPU, and GPU. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Satellite image classification is the most significant remote sensing method for computerized analysis and pattern detection of satellite data. This method relies on the image's diversity structures and necessitates a thorough validation of the training data using the chosen classification algorithm. The classifying of remotely sensed images refers to the process of classifying pixels into a fixed set of distinct classes based on their data values. The pixel is categorized into that class if it complies with a specific set of requirements. A new SIC scheme is suggested in this work, where, Contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE) is deployed for pre-processing the image. Further, statistical features, Vegetation Indices (VI) and Improved Hybrid Vegetation Index (IHVI) are extracted from the preprocessed image. Then, we deploy 2 phase classification process for classifying the image. In the first phase, Bi-Directional Gated Recurrent Unit (BI-GRU), Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Deep Max Out (DMO) are used. In 2nd phase, optimized RNN is used for determining the final classification result. Also, the training of the model is done by the new Chaotic Opposition Behavior Improvised Coot Algorithm (COBI-CA) optimization via tuning the optimal weights. The COOT method has been enhanced and is now the suggested algorithm. Lastly, we conduct an analysis to compare the suggested Satellite Image Classification (SIC) model's performance to the traditional approaches in terms of statistical analysis, precision, accuracy, and error measure. Under the wave of digital transformation, remote collaboration has become the new normal in the daily operation of enterprises. But at the same time, the risk of sensitive data leakage and the insufficiency of protection measures have increasingly become the focus of attention, posing a severe challenge to enterprise data security. To address this challenge, this paper proposes an innovative comprehensive data leakage prevention technical solution. This solution integrates cloud services and kernel technology and creates a set of data security protection systems for the remote collaboration working environment. This technical solution adopts a series of effective technical means, including asymmetric encryption, one-way data flow control, dynamic digital watermarking technology, injection attack defense, and program anti-hanging mechanism, significantly enhancing the security of data in the collaborative office system. The constructed framework includes multiple modules such as user management, service support, kernel driver, and user terminal. This technical solution can be integrated with enterprise remote collaboration office software, providing a higher level of security guarantee for the remote office environment, effectively curbing the risk of sensitive data leakage, and also providing solid technical support for the healthy and stable development of remote collaboration work. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

RagaMoodSync presents an innovative framework for personalized music therapy through Hindustani Raga recommendations based on facial emotion recognition. Utilizing a Fusion-DenseNet (FusDenseNet) architecture with advanced multi-pooling for emotion detection, the system achieves high precision in identifying user moods. Integrated with a Focus Deep Collaborative Filtering (FDCF) recommendation system, RagaMoodSync delivers tailored raga suggestions that address emotional well-being and stress management. Validated with the FER2013 dataset, the framework demonstrates superior performance over existing approaches. Breast cancer is a prevalent tumor across women and is associated with a high mortality rate. Prompt diagnosis is one of the biggest challenges that needs to be addressed globally, as it can considerably improve survival rates. An automatic diagnosis system based on deep learning models is critical for improving detection, prediction accuracy, and survivability. This study used various DenseNet-based architectures for multi-class classification using the BUSI dataset. The experiments indicate that the fine-tuned DenseNet201 model outperforms with an accuracy of 98.28%. The results demonstrate the promising capability of the fine-tuned DenseNet201 model to have a high potential for further implementation in practice for achieving early diagnosis and highly individualized approaches for better treatment. The further development of extensive and diverse data sets will be essential for developing new diagnostic methods and improving the existing ones. © 2025 IEEE.

In agriculture, crop yield estimation is essential;producers, industrialists, and consumers all benefit from knowing the early yield. Manual mango counting typically involves the utilization of human labor. Experts visually examine each sample to complete the process, which is time-consuming, difficult, and lacks precision. For commercial mango production to produce high-quality fruits from the orchard to the consumer, a quick, non-destructive, and accurate variety classification is required. Because of its effectiveness in computer vision, a convolutional neural network—one of the deep learning techniques—was chosen for this investigation. For yield prediction, a total of eight popular mango cultivars were utilized. A comparison with previously trained models was used to assess the proposed model. The performance of the classifiers was evaluated using evaluation metrics such as accuracy, loss, area under the receiver operating characteristic curve score, precision, recall, F1-score, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and Cohen’s Kappa performance measure. In terms of performance evaluation criteria, it was found that the proposed approach outperformed the pre-trained models. The suggested model achieved 98.85% accuracy in the test set, which had 800 images. This outcome demonstrates the tangible applicability of the proposed methodology for mango crop estimation. © (2025), (Society of Sytematic Innovation). All rights reserved.

Answering reachability queries with ordered label constraints over labeled graphs

Reachability query plays a vital role in many graph analysis *** researches proposed many methods to efficiently answer reachability queries between vertex *** many real graphs are labeled graph,it highly demands Label-Constrained Reachability(LCR)query inwhich constraint includes a set of labels besides vertex *** researches proposed several methods for answering some LCR queries which require appearance of some labels specified in constraints in the *** that constraint may be a label set,query constraint may be ordered labels,namely OLCR(Ordered-Label-Constrained Reachability)queries which retrieve paths matching a sequence of ***,no solutions are available for ***,we propose DHL,a novel bloom filter based indexing technique for answering OLCR *** can be used to check reachability between vertex *** the answers are not no,then constrained DFS is ***,we employ DHL followed by performing constrained DFS to answer OLCR *** show that DHL has a bounded false positive rate,and it's powerful in saving indexing time and *** experiments on 10 real-life graphs and 12 synthetic graphs demonstrate that DHL achieves about 4.8-22.5 times smaller index space and 4.6-114 times less index construction time than two state-of-art techniques for LCR queries,while achieving comparable query response *** results also show that our algorithm can answer OLCR queries effectively.

The introduction of the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), has drastically transformed the worldwide landscape of healthcare delivery. The proliferation of IoMT devices in healthcare systems brings new issues in guaranteeing the security and privacy of sensitive patient data. We must secure a substantial amount of sensitive data from modification since IoMT is a high-volume, continually developing data domain. Since then, blockchain (BC) technology has been recognised as a distributed ledger that can manage a huge number of intelligent transactions and increase data security at the same time. A comprehensive resource management system may be offered by Blockchain-based security mechanisms with specific customisation and additional levels of authentication and verification. It has functioned brilliantly as a crucial component of the Bitcoin cryptocurrency. This work creates a blockchain-based Internet of Medical Things security management system using homomorphic encryption (HE). Key generation shows how the DOA may enhance cryptographic system security and efficacy. The IoMT-based HE-DOA system provided in this study employs blockchain to secure data exchange and diagnostic models. HE-DOA allows safe data transmission and diagnostic models with BC aid in IoMT. The recommended technique includes data collecting, encryption, and categorization. Blockchains (BCs) securely store data, and IoMT devices are crucial to early data collection. For data encryption, the dingo optimisation algorithm (DOA) may generate the key. Performance experiments and comparison with similar protocols show that the recommended procedure may enhance PSNR, accuracy, and computational time by 19.34%, 95.78%, and 1.887ms, respectively. Comparing HE-DOA to prior studies shows its scalability and durability. © 2024 IEEE.
