The Sign Language Recognition System has been designed to capture video input, process it to detect hand gestures, and translate these gestures into readable text. The project consists of several key components and steps: Video Processing: Using OpenCV, the system captures frames from the video input. MediaPipe processes these frames to detect and track hand landmarks in real time. OpenCV capabilities allow for efficient frame extraction and basic image processing tasks such as resizing and normalization. Hand Detection and Tracking: MediaPipe pre-trained models identify and track hand movements within the video frames. The accurate detection and tracking of the hand movements are critical for the subsequent recognition of the sign language gestures. Sign Language Recognition: The core system is the deep learning model, trained using the TensorFlow and Keras on a dataset of sign language gestures. The model learns to classify the detected hand movements into corresponding sign language characters or words. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) are typically used for task due to their effectiveness in image recognition tasks. Text Display: Once the system recognizes the signs, it converts them into text and displays the output. This can be done through a console output or a graphical user interface (GUI) built with Tkinter. This research addresses the pressing global demand for food by leveraging cutting-edge deep learning techniques for automating plant disease detection. Focusing on tomato and potato leaf diseases, the study utilized the PlantVillage dataset to compare classical machine learning methods, such as Local Binary Patterns (LBP) combined with classifiers like kNN, SVM, and Extreme Learning Machines, against modern Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architectures. These included MobileNet, DenseNet201, ResNet50, Inception V3, and VGG16/19. A custom-designed CNN model was developed with unique configurations implemented using Keras and TensorFlow. The model was tested for binary, 6-class, and 10-class classifications, achieving remarkable accuracy rates of 99.6%, 98.4%, and 97.2%, respectively. Notably, after 50 training epochs, the model achieved a peak accuracy of 99.78% for plant disease classification. A practical web-based application was also developed, integrating the best-performing model to facilitate real-time leaf disease detection and notify farmers via email. This approach demonstrates a significant advancement in sustainable agriculture by providing an efficient, accurate, and scalable solution for early disease detection, which is critical for improving crop yield and productivity. © 2025 IEEE.

Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) is a neuroimaging approach that lets in for the visualization and quantification of the structural integrity of white depend fibers in the brain. In latest years, DTI has come to be an essential tool for investigating the underlying neurobiological mechanisms of autism spectrum sickness (ASD), a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized via problems in social communication and repetitive behaviors. Through the usage of DTI, researchers have identified good sized styles of structural abnormalities in the brains of individuals with ASD. these abnormalities encompass changes in the microstructure of white remember fibers, along with decreased fiber density, changes in fiber directionality, and decreased connectivity between mind areas. Innovative technology solutions have been developed in response to the growing need for effective and customized client contact on e-commerce platforms. The surging popularity of online movie databases has created a challenge for viewers: choosing a film from a massive library can be overwhelming. In this paper, it proposes to design a new hybrid movie recommendation powered by machine learning techniques as a solution to improve user experience. Among those techniques, two are combined into this paper: content-based filtering, using the real features of a movie such as genre and a director, and collaborative filtering, which uses the rating provided by users. This hybrid approach thus improves the intrinsic weaknesses that reside in both these methods individually. On the other hand, content-based filtering tends to reduce exploration to movies of the exact type one is doing well at, whereas, inversely, collaborative filtering settings often mean that a user will be exposed only to films within his or her already-recognized taste profile. It is expected that the proposed hybrid system will solve both problems by balancing this line between exploring familiar cinematic territory and making new recommendations based on both user preferences and the entire collective intelligence of the user base. The approach would aim to enrich user satisfaction by facilitating the selection of movies and providing a richer and more diversified movie-viewing experience. © 2024 IEEE.

The goal of this project is to draw a deeper understanding of the subjective nature behind online product reviews, largely by examining a large dataset received from Amazon that contains numerous star ratings and comments. Since there is such a massive amount of data on the Amazon platform, it was perfect for the analysis. Our methodology is platform-agnostic and can be easily extended to other comparable datasets from other web platforms with comparable guarantees in achieving wide applicability. Our primary motivation is improving the dependability of online shopping. Since product reviews are currently widely used by many consumers as guides in making decisions to buy products, such reviews ought to be fair representations of the actual dependability and quality of the products. The goal of our effort is to identify patterns in the language and ratings of such reviews that would directly reflect the real customer sentiment and also the reliability of the product. Our approach has yielded already a rate of about 92%, which shows it has the potential greatly to raise the legitimacy of online reviews. We'd like to make our customers feel more confident and better equipped with information to make better and safer purchases on a website like Amazon and others. In the final analysis, we strive to make online shopping for our customers worldwide safer and more trustworthy. © 2024 IEEE.

The basis of this project is to investigate whether the YOLO, an object detection algorithm where 'You Only Look Once' constitutes the name, could be applied to develop FMCG management;together with the management of FMCG, it becomes the gateway to increasing retail precision, efficiency, and agility. Under real-time processing, the system detects and counts FMCG products on retail shelves with an accuracy rate of 92.5%. This accuracy ensures that the optimum stock levels are maintained and there will be no discrepancies. The system processes video feeds at 0.08 seconds per frame, thus allowing inventory data to be updated in real-time to enable quick, data-driven decisions. YOLO's flexibility ensures consistent performance across different store layouts and product types. This system integrates with other retail management tools and allows integrating inventory data in the real time. This means that it would be made available with invaluable insights which would prevent stock depletion while helping to curtail costs. This project takes YOLO ahead of just being a game changer in the FMCG inventory management while operating to reduce expenses and customer satisfaction due to product availability. © 2024 IEEE.

Regularized system identification has become the research frontier of system identification in the past *** related core subject is to study the convergence properties of various hyper-parameter estimators as the sample size goes to *** this paper,we consider one commonly used hyper-parameter estimator,the empirical Bayes(EB).Its convergence in distribution has been studied,and the explicit expression of the covariance matrix of its limiting distribution has been ***,what we are truly interested in are factors contained in the covariance matrix of the EB hyper-parameter estimator,and then,the convergence of its covariance matrix to that of its limiting distribution is *** general,the convergence in distribution of a sequence of random variables does not necessarily guarantee the convergence of its covariance ***,the derivation of such convergence is a necessary complement to our theoretical analysis about factors that influence the convergence properties of the EB hyper-parameter *** this paper,we consider the regularized finite impulse response(FIR)model estimation with deterministic inputs,and show that the covariance matrix of the EB hyper-parameter estimator converges to that of its limiting ***,we run numerical simulations to demonstrate the efficacy of ourtheoretical results.

Effective monitoring of the environment over a large area will require mobilization of a considerable amount of information. Otherwise, the use of traditional methods will prove to be costly and would take up so much time. Also, assessing the land cover changes between two times is one of the other methods which can be adopted to measure the environmental sustainability. Using ML techniques for predictive modeling in remote sensing has emerged as a useful approach in solving some of the environmental and climatic challenges. This research proposes a novel method in remote sensing image-based climate detection utilizing cloud computing and machine learning algorithms. Here, the cloud computing module is used in the collection of remote sensing images for the detection of climate changes. Then, the collected image is processed for noise removal as well as normalization. The processed image is segmented, and features are extracted utilizing a fuzzy K-clustering-based contour Gaussian model with graph cut Boltzmann CNN. Experimental analysis is carried out for various remote sensing-based climate change datasets in terms of training accuracy, random precision, AUC, recall, and F-measure. The proposed technique obtained 97% of training accuracy, 95% of random precision, 96% of recall, 93% of AUC, and 94% of F-measure. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

In agriculture, crop yield estimation is essential;producers, industrialists, and consumers all benefit from knowing the early yield. Manual mango counting typically involves the utilization of human labor. Experts visually examine each sample to complete the process, which is time-consuming, difficult, and lacks precision. For commercial mango production to produce high-quality fruits from the orchard to the consumer, a quick, non-destructive, and accurate variety classification is required. Because of its effectiveness in computer vision, a convolutional neural network—one of the deep learning techniques—was chosen for this investigation. For yield prediction, a total of eight popular mango cultivars were utilized. A comparison with previously trained models was used to assess the proposed model. The performance of the classifiers was evaluated using evaluation metrics such as accuracy, loss, area under the receiver operating characteristic curve score, precision, recall, F1-score, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and Cohen’s Kappa performance measure. In terms of performance evaluation criteria, it was found that the proposed approach outperformed the pre-trained models. The suggested model achieved 98.85% accuracy in the test set, which had 800 images. This outcome demonstrates the tangible applicability of the proposed methodology for mango crop estimation. © (2025), (Society of Sytematic Innovation). All rights reserved.
