Foodborne disease is still a major public health concern in both advanced and emerging economies. In terms of adopting new technology, the health industry continues to lag behind all other sectors. India has traditionally relied on food farming to make money but which food item is good for whom we have no proper idea. Especially when it comes to healthcare sectors, the Internet of health things (IoHT) and blockchain can play an important role. It can enhance the quality of care for its users and reduce costs by allocating the correct food chain to the targeted users. We are currently employing blockchain in supply chain management to cluster the patients based on their health care type. For example, diabetic patients prefer a particular type of food. Segregating the food type within the supply chain can reduce a lot of effort and cost. Blockchain can provide a solution to the issues that arise in the healthcare-based supply chain system because of its decentralized and immutable nature. The service's execution has been depicted in pictures and accompanied by detailed descriptions. In this modern world due to Road traffic, many people are unable to reach their destination at the correct time. For example, if a person needed to reach the hospital in critical condition due to road traffic, they are unable to reach the hospital and got stuck in traffic which will lead to death. We lost a lot of people because of this road traffic. So, Road Safety is the most important part of our daily life. Conjointly, this prediction accomplished enhanced the safety and security of women empowerment which acted as a security guard for people especially women, protecting themselves in every circumstance. Here, statistical analysis of road traffic networks of selective locations is implemented to prognosticate road traffic. Crop prices in India are vulnerable to environmental factors such as rainfall and temperature which can cause supply variations and price shifts. Government policies are intended to keep prices stable during severe weather occurrences. An extensive crop price prediction approach utilizing diverse machine learning techniques and encompassing features such as temperature extremes, humidity, precipitation, and probabilities is introduced in this research work. Employing algorithms including linear regression, decision trees, random forests, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), XGBoost, and Bayesian regression, the research conducts comprehensive evaluation and comparative analysis to identify optimal techniques for crop price prediction, thereby yielding valuable insights for agricultural applications. Amid the intricacies of contemporary agricultural markets, where numerous factors influence prices, machine learning emerges as a potent tool capable of capturing intricate influences. By exploring a range of machine learning algorithms, complex relationships within data are unveiled, establishing a basis for evidence-based methodology selection. The research results heighten forecasting precision and empower stakeholders with actionable insights, facilitating informed decisions, risk mitigation, and capitalization on opportunities. This signifies a substantial stride towards the convergence of machine learning and agriculture, fostering enhanced predictive accuracy in crop price forecasting. © 2024 IEEE.

According to a report published by the World Health Organization (WHO), the only two primary ways in which the COVID-19 virus can be spread are through breathing contaminated air and through direct physical contact. Wearing a mask is one of the bare minimum preventative measures that can be taken against the transmission of certain viral infections, including COVID-19. Therefore, it is much more important to wear a mask properly in very crowded areas such as public parks, supermarkets, and shopping malls. This is because the risk of spreading an infectious disease is significantly higher in these settings. Face Mask Detection is a technique that we developed so that we could avoid problems like these. It can determine whether or not a person is wearing a mask on their face. There have only been a handful of scant studies done on face mask detection. © 2023 IEEE.

The Internet of Drones (IoD) extends the capabilities of unmanned aerial vehicles, enabling them to participate in a connected network. In IoD infrastructure, drones communicate not only among themselves but also with users and a control center. This interconnected communication framework holds promise for various applications, from collaborative decision-making to real-time data exchange. However, the expansion of communication in IoD also introduces new challenges, particularly in terms of security, privacy and authentication. Unfortunately, the current authentication protocols are inadequate in offering robust security features against various attacks in the IoD environment. To address these security issues and limitations, we proposed a secure protocol for the IoD environment using chaotic maps and hash functions. In addition, we also employed a physically unclonable function in the development of the proposed protocol. We assess the security of the protocol through both informal and formal security analysis. The formal security analysis is conducted through a widely used random or real (RoR) model. The informal analysis shows the rigorous security features against various attacks, such as masquerading, anonymity violation, and physical cloning attacks. Moreover, we compare the performance of the devised protocol with similar existing protocols across important performance parameters, such as communication overhead, computation overhead, and security features. The devised protocol provides a 67.86% and 17.80% reduction in computation and communication overheads, respectively, as compared to related protocols. The analysis demonstrates the proposed protocol's capacity to support secure communication in the IoD environment and satisfy desirable security attributes. © 2014 IEEE.

Natural fibers such as bamboo, kenaf, flax, ramie and hemp were chemically treated to improve their adherence with hydrophobic matrices. One common chemical process for altering the surface of these natural fibers is alkali treatment (AT). The experiment involves soaking bamboo fibers (BF) in solutions of 1, 10, and 30 wt % sodium hydroxide (NaOH) for one day, half an hour, and twenty minutes at room temperature. These alkali-treated and untreated bamboo fibers was compared with their physical and mechanical qualities. Using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and the circular fiber assumption, the CSA of bamboo fibers both before and after AT were compared. Improving the AT procedures for BF at room temperature using varying NaOH concentrations is the focus of this effort. Additionally, the tensile characteristics of both untreated and variously treated AT Bamboo fibres are examined using a two-parameter Weibull distribution. Instead of just showing the average tensile strength, probabilistic tensile strength has shown to be a more effective method. This study proves without a reasonable doubt that adding 1 wt % NaOH to bamboo fiber makes natural fiber reinforced composites mechanically better. According to the SEM, the CSA of bamboo fibers decreases by about 13.62–20.24% and about 18.42–22.63%, respectively, after alkali treatment. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

Skin pathologies encompass a spectrum of conditions, with malignancies such as melanoma representing a critical diagnostic urgency. This investigation delineates the deployment of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) for the classification of dermatological anomalies, benchmarking CNN diagnostic fidelity against dermatological expert evaluations. The study underscores the efficacy of CNN classifiers in expediting the diagnostic workflow for various cutaneous disorders. Advocating for an automated diagnostic framework, the research introduces a CNN-based system aimed at reducing human diagnostic load, accelerating diagnostic timelines, and enhancing survival outcomes. Utilizing advanced image processing algorithms and deep learning architectures, the research presents an automated classification system for skin pathologies, addressing both benign and malignant presentations. The classification matrix includes nine dermatological conditions: actinic keratosis, basal cell carcinoma, benign keratosis, dermatofibroma, melanoma, nevus, seborrheic keratosis, squamous cell carcinoma, and vascular lesions. The objective is to engineer a CNN model with robust diagnostic performance across a diverse lesion dataset, ensuring accurate identification and categorization of dermatological conditions. © 2024 IEEE.

In response to the growing need for advanced artificial intelligence (AI) systems, the study thoroughly examines neuro-inspired deep learning architectures within the domain of cognitive computing. The need for such innovation originates from the constraints of traditional systems, characterized by their inefficiency in duplicating complex cognitive activities. Traditional techniques often need help with complex tasks and more biological neural network flexibility. The proposed system uses neuroscience principles to solve these limitations and create advanced models such as spiking neural networks and hierarchical attention processes, increasing machine learning capabilities. The results of extensive testing and analysis show that incorporating neuro-inspired designs considerably improves the system's performance across several dimensions. The results show increased efficiency, flexibility, and an expanded understanding of cognitive processes, indicating an evolution in AI development. As the results prove, adopting neuro-inspired deep learning architectures is essential for progressing toward artificial general intelligence and realizing the full potential of cognitive computing. © 2024 IEEE.

Spatial data Intelligence (SDI) encompasses acquiring, storing, analyzing, mining, and visualizing spatial data to gain insights into the physical world and uncover valuable knowledge. These understandings and knowledge play a crucial role in connecting physical and virtual realms, such as in developing a City Metaverse (CM) aimed at enhancing and optimizing modern urban environments. The advancement of CM holds immense potential to benefit urban dwellers, making research on SDI an increasingly prominent area of focus. This paper contributes significantly by organizing the relevant research and technologies within a coherent framework. Firstly, we identify SDI technologies capable of collecting real-world information to construct a virtual CM. Subsequently, we delve into the technologies that can be compositely integrated with SDI to facilitate interaction with and management of actual cities from the virtual perspective. Additionally, we emphasize the effectiveness and potential of these methods in practical applications. Lastly, we conclude our survey by discussing emerging challenges associated with technological progress, the industrial chain, legal and regulatory aspects, and ethical and moral considerations. © 2024

In Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh, various sources including vehicle emissions, industrial activities, brick kilns, building sites, and open rubbish burning contribute to the air pollution problem. To assess the air quality, the Air Quality Index (AQI) is utilized, which categorizes air quality based on pollutant concentration. In this study, we have built ARIMA, Auto-ARIMA, SARIMAX, and VAR models to predict the air quality of Dhaka. Unlike previous studies, we have utilized hourly air pollutants factors such as PM2.5, PM10, SO2, CO, NO2, and O3 to forecast air quality. Our novel approach enables us to predict the monthly and weekly air quality of Dhaka city. Our analysis reveals that the SARIMAX model, which takes into account seasonal patterns, trends, and external factors, is the most accurate in predicting Dhaka city's air quality. The model's prediction performance is assessed using statistical indicators such as mean absolute percentage error and root mean square error. The study highlights that the SARIMAX model could aid policymakers in evaluating the efficacy of air pollution control measures. © 2023 IEEE.
