Early detection dramatically increases the survival rate of oral cancer (OC). Artificial intelligence (AI) technology has garnered more attention in the field of diagnostic medicine in present periods. This study set out to assess the available data regarding AI's efficacy in OC diagnosis critically. Artificial intelligence diagnostic accuracy and capacity to detect early phases of OC were highlighted. In this project, performance indicators will be measured and oral cancer will be divided and classified using intelligent computing techniques. The role of oral cancer classification and detection to achieve a high recognition rate while leveraging the best theoretical components of oral cancer images, a newly established region-based Convolutional Neural Network (RCNN-COA) and the Chimp Optimization Algorithm were used to improve a Deep Learning Method. Then, using the recommended Chimp Optimization Algorithm (COA), a region-based convolutional neural network (R-CNN) classifier was trained using the acquired theoretical properties and the innovative image. A comparison of many deep learning and machine learning models' performances has been reported in a study. The findings imply that the deep learning model is capable of managing the problematic task of early oral malignant tumor detection. © 2024 IEEE.

Self-configuration refers to a node's ability to dynamically adjust resource allocation based on changing network conditions, either autonomously or with minimal human input. Alongside this, self-optimization is aimed at maintaining optimal network performance despite fluctuating conditions. Protocols like MRL-SCSO, designed for Unattended Wireless Sensor Networks (UWSNs), ensure robust coverage, connectivity, and energy efficiency under varying loads. MRL-SCSO employs learning-based mechanisms, such as Reinforcing Multiple Agents, incorporating features like boundary construction, state scheduling, topology control, and data dissemination to enhance network management. When compared to the Collect Tree Protocol (CTP), MRL-SCSO exhibits faster packet transmission due to backbone nodes and traffic load prediction, reducing delays by 2–5 ms, which is a significant improvement over existing algorithms. Additionally, MRL-SCSO delivers a better packet delivery ratio, dropping only by 5–12% with shorter data transmission intervals, while CTP experiences a 20–40% drop when all nodes are active. Furthermore, MRL-SCSO improves throughput by 20–30 kb/s compared to CTP, demonstrating its superior ability to optimize network performance without sacrificing reliability. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD)is a neurodevelopmental condition characterized by significant challenges in social interaction,communication,and repetitive *** and precise ASD detection is crucial,particularly in regions with limited diagnostic resources like *** study aims to conduct an extensive comparative analysis of various machine learning classifiers for ASD detection using facial images to identify an accurate and cost-effective solution tailored to the local *** research involves experimentation with VGG16 and MobileNet models,exploring different batch sizes,optimizers,and learning rate *** addition,the“Orange”machine learning tool is employed to evaluate classifier performance and automated image processing capabilities are utilized within the *** findings unequivocally establish VGG16 as the most effective classifier with a 5-fold cross-validation ***,VGG16,with a batch size of 2 and the Adam optimizer,trained for 100 epochs,achieves a remarkable validation accuracy of 99% and a testing accuracy of 87%.Furthermore,the model achieves an F1 score of 88%,precision of 85%,and recall of 90% on test *** validate the practical applicability of the VGG16 model with 5-fold cross-validation,the study conducts further testing on a dataset sourced fromautism centers in Pakistan,resulting in an accuracy rate of 85%.This reaffirms the model’s suitability for real-world ASD *** research offers valuable insights into classifier performance,emphasizing the potential of machine learning to deliver precise and accessible ASD diagnoses via facial image analysis.

Heart disease remains a leading cause of mortality worldwide. Accurate and timely diagnosis is crucial for effective treatment and prevention. This research proposes a novel approach using a cascaded XGBoost model to improve the accuracy and efficiency of heart disease diagnosis. With gradient boosting, the cascaded XGBoost model effectively handles complex interactions within the dataset, leading to superior performance compared to traditional machine learning techniques like logistic regression, support vector machines, and decision trees. The proposed model was evaluated on a standard heart disease dataset, demonstrating significant improvements in terms of accuracy, precision, and recall. Furthermore, the model's ability to identify key factors contributing to heart disease provides valuable insights for clinical decision-making. This research highlights the potential of machine learning techniques, particularly cascaded XGBoost, in advancing the field of heart disease diagnosis and improving patient outcomes. © 2024 IEEE.

Covid 19 is a disastrous infection that the whole world tackled for 2 years from 2020-to 2021. As this virus was new and doctors had no idea about it, they treated patients to save lives with all their possible experiences. This virus was contagious, and lockdown took place, people faced financial problems due to loss of jobs or businesses getting shut down for months, many people could not get admitted to hospitals and lost their life due to lack of facilities. While the whole world was dealing with these numerous issues, there was one kind of group of people who successfully recovered from Covid19 but, they faced some changes in their health like some inability they didn't have before infecting of Covid19 or worsened health issues that were mild in them pre Covid19 infection. These are called post Covid19 symptoms which are seen in post Covid19 patients, and such patients are termed as 'Long Haulers'. Long Covid19 symptoms are different in different people, some face mild symptoms like headache, fatigue to severe symptoms where we see an effect on vital organs. In some cases, the effect on the vital organ is irreversible. The conception behind this study is to rack up the data of post Covid19 patients and perform analysis on such data and upskill a ML model, this trained model then project what disease the post Covid19 patient is prone to by taking all his/her details. This idea will help users to get an idea beforehand and take prophylactic measures by conferring with a respective specialist. © 2023 IEEE.

The speaker authentication is important for many domains such as safe keying systems, voice aids, or even criminal investigations and others. The shortcomings of conventional approaches for speaker extraction derive from subjectively determined parameters and empirical models employed. This paper responds to these constraints by constructing the proposed deep learning-speaker recognition system using CNN model. A dataset of speech recordings in 16 KHz sample rate PCM format will be used for training that system. To make the system more robust, we will mimic real-life scenarios by adding noise backgrounds. This study intends to design a deep learning model able to identify various voice features and discriminate voices from noise for speaker recognition. By tuning the CNN model, it will be possible to identify specific traits in each speaker’s voice and differentiate among individuals using their unique voices. The emphasis would be placed on building a practical lightweight model suitable for mobile based implementations in real-time speaker ID scenarios. © 2023 IEEE.

Sparse representation plays an important role in the research of face *** a deformable sample classification task,face recognition is often used to test the performance of classification *** face recognition,differences in expression,angle,posture,and lighting conditions have become key factors that affect recognition ***,there may be significant differences between different image samples of the same face,which makes image classification very ***,how to build a robust virtual image representation becomes a vital *** solve the above problems,this paper proposes a novel image classification ***,to better retain the global features and contour information of the original sample,the algorithm uses an improved non‐linear image representation method to highlight the low‐intensity and high‐intensity pixels of the original training sample,thus generating a virtual ***,by the principle of sparse representation,the linear expression coefficients of the original sample and the virtual sample can be calculated,*** obtaining these two types of coefficients,calculate the distances between the original sample and the test sample and the distance between the virtual sample and the test *** two distances are converted into distance ***,a simple and effective weight fusion scheme is adopted to fuse the classification scores of the original image and the virtual *** fused score will determine the final classification *** experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms other typical sparse representation classification methods.

Pancreatic cancer poses a significant challenge in early detection and treatment due to its malignant nature within the digestive tract. Recent studies, such as those conducted by the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, predict that pancreatic cancer will rank as the world's second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in 2020. Various methods have been explored in the literature to segment pancreatic tumors and detect lesions from CT images, crucial for assessing severity. One such method is the Min-Max segmentation algorithm, which effectively removes the jaundiced sclera region from affected eyes by analysing color gradients, offering more feasible and discriminative solutions. Additionally, the utilization of Whale Optimized feature-based selection aids in extracting optimal features for optimization purposes. Through an analysis of different classification algorithms and the implementation of a suggested technique for achieving optimum solutions and maximum accuracy, the proposed work is structured into two phases. Phase I involves pre-processing and artifact removal, followed by segmentation, while Phase II focuses on feature extraction, feature selection, and classification. The initial step of pre-processing the image facilitates pixel location using intensity measures, crucial for accurate tumor segmentation and minimizing false detection. Ultimately, the proposed approach aims to design and develop an optimal feature selection strategy for classifying pancreatic cancer tumors in PET/CT images, resulting in increased classification efficiency 92% and improved cancer tumor detection rates with compare other existing approaches. © 2024 IEEE.

Recently, Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) using aggregating neighborhood collaborative information have shown effectiveness in recommendation. However, GNNs-based models suffer from over-smoothing and data sparsity problems. Due to its self-supervised nature, contrastive learning has gained considerable attention in the field of recommendation, aiming at alleviating highly sparse data. Graph contrastive learning models are widely used to learn the consistency of representations by constructing different graph augmentation views. Most current graph augmentation with random perturbation destroy the original graph structure information, which mislead embeddings learning. In this paper, an effective graph contrastive learning paradigm CollaGCL is proposed, which constructs graph augmentation by using singular value decomposition to preserve crucial structure information. CollaGCL enables perturbed views to effectively capture global collaborative information, mitigating the negative impact of graph structural perturbations. To optimize the contrastive learning task, the extracted meta-knowledge was propagate throughout the original graph to learn reliable embedding representations. The self-information learning between views enhances the semantic information of nodes, thus alleviating the problem of over-smoothing. Experimental results on three real-world datasets demonstrate the significant improvement of CollaGCL over state-of-the-art methods. © 2025 – IOS Press. All rights reserved.

Increasingly popular decentralized applications (dApps) with complex application logic incur significant overhead for executing smart contract transactions, which greatly limits public block chain performance. Pre-executing transactions off the critical path can mitigate substantial I/O and computation costs during execution. However, pre-execution does not yield any state transitions, rendering the system state inconsistent with actual execution. This inconsistency can lead to deviations in pre-execution paths when processing smart contracts with multiple state-related branches, thus diminishing pre-execution effectiveness. In this paper, we develop Seer, a novel public block chain execution engine that incorporates fine-grained branch prediction to fully exploit pre-execution effectiveness. Seerpredicts state-related branches using a two-level prediction approach, reducing inconsistent execution paths more efficiently than executing all possible branches. To enable effective reuse of pre execution results, Seer employs checkpoint-based fast-path execution, enhancing transaction execution for both successful and unsuccessful predictions. Evaluations with realistic block chain workloads demonstrate that Seer delivers an average of 27.7× transaction-level speedup and an overall 20.6× speedup in the execution phase over vanilla Ethereum, outperforming existing block chain execution acceleration solutions. © 2025, VLDB Endowment, All rights reserved.
