Higher education is an education unit that organizes higher education. College students are called students, while college educators are called lecturers. Higher education as a place of learning and self-development Students provide facilities to improve student achievement in the form of student achievement scholarships. This scholarship program is expected to stimulate students' interest in learning to be better. In determining scholarship recipients, the student division selects prospective scholarship recipients based on existing criteria. In the selection process, the student division has difficulty choosing the data of prospective recipients. Because each type of scholarship criteria and has different criteria weights. Calculation of the value of weighting criteria requires precision. Based on the problems that occur, the author designed a decision support system to determine the recipients of achievement scholarships using the SAW method. This system can help student affairs to carry out criteria for recipients of achievement scholarships based on administrative data of prospective scholarship recipients in determining criteria for weighting value calculations. With this system, it can minimize errors to determine prospective scholarship recipients who excel. After testing the use of support systems for deciding scholarship decisions using the SAW method, it can be concluded that a decision support system can assist the student's part in carrying out their duties.

Based on WHO’s data, breast cancer is one of the most deadly diseases that has claimed many victims, especially women. This disease begins with the presence of an undetected and eventually turns into malignant (cancer). This happens due to ignorance of the importance of having a medical check-up even though in good health. Doctors and researchers can prevent the development of tumor cells through treatment that begins with radiological examinations to identify the possibility of a person being affected by this disease. One of the most frequently used techniques is Mammography. This technique can detect the presence of tumor cells using advanced technology and several methods in displaying the patient’s diagnostic results on low-dose X-rays in the form of mammogram images. The technology is inseparable from the methods used to identify the presence of tumor cells. In this study, we have proposed the CNN method based on the deep-CNN model to identify mammogram images in the detection of breast cancer cells with average evaluation results in terms of accuracy, precision, recall, specificity, and f-measure on mammogram image datasets of 99.52%, 99.72%, 99.31%, 99.72%, and 99.5%. These results showed that this method has a good performance in breast cancer detection.

Lampung Province is one of the regions with the highest cocoa production, but many factors can interfere with cocoa production. One of them is the factor of pests and diseases of cocoa that cannot be identified and prevented beforehand. An expert system is a system that adopts expert knowledge or experts in a particular field. However, the diagnosis usually contains uncertainty in the form of answers and statements used. Certainty Factor (CF) algorithm, is one of the algorithms that is able to overcome uncertainty by providing a value for the level of trust from experts and users. However, because the CF value is based on the level of confidence in the symptoms experienced by the user, it creates a problem, namely the consistency of the user's answers. So, it is necessary to make improvements to the CF algorithm, to overcome the inconsistency of user answers through the use of Consistency Ratio (CR). Through the use of CR, inconsistencies are overcome through comparisons between the consistency index and the random index. Based on the results of the accuracy test, the proposed model is able to produce an accuracy rate of 86.67% in the diagnosis of pests and diseases on cocoa plants.

To determine the quality of beef, it is usually seen using a flashlight and matching it with a predetermined color standard. However, this method is time consuming and the results are inconsistent due to human visual limitations. This study aims to identify the freshness of beef based on its color characteristics using feature extraction method with HSV and LDA method for identification. The identification process begins with the transformation process from RGB images to L*a*b, then image segmentation serves to separate one object from another and image identification uses the LDA method with feature extraction using HSV. The use of color feature extraction with the HSV algorithm to assist in obtaining information from the colors contained in the image for easy identification. Furthermore, the LDA algorithm has a function to obtain the maximum projection to obtain a smaller dimensional space so that the desired patterns can be separated through the boundary line of a linear equation so as to form a certain class or group. Based on the test results using the confusion matrix, it produces a precision value of 80%, recall of 84%, and accuracy of 82%.

This research is formulated with a research question, namely the comparison of the C.45 Algorithm with the Naïve Bayes Algorithm, which aims to select scholarship recipients at Universitas Putra Indonesia YPTK Padang so that a comparison between the two algorithms for scholarship recipients with a high level of accuracy is obtained. The methodology used in determining scholarship recipients at Universitas Putra Indonesia YPTK Padang is to compare the stages of the C.45 Algorithm and the Naïve Bayes Algorithm. From some sample data of prospective recipients from the Information Systems department and has been generated based on the calculation of the C.45 Algorithm and the Naïve Bayes algorithm as many as 5 (five) students who are not eligible to become scholarship recipients because they have a GPA <3.00 per class in the Information Systems department, so that as many as 7 (seven) students who are eligible to become scholarship recipients because they have met the criteria for scholarship recipients in terms of GPA, and there is no C grade.

Melanoma is a malignant form of cancer that affects the skin and has a particularly high mortality rate, so it requires early detection to increase the level of safety for users. Diagnosis and detection of skin cancer are usually done through manual screening and visual inspection. This process requires a long time, has high complexity, is subjective, and is prone to errors. CNN is one of the algorithms with advantages in accurate classification. In this research, early detection and classification of melanoma cancer were carried out based on two classes, namely benign and malignant using the Convolutional Neural Network method. Our proposed method yields an accuracy of 81.11% for the validation data. The accuracy results obtained can be improved by using more datasets and increasing the number of layers used. This study uses the CNN method using MobileNet V2 architecture to detect melanoma skin cancer. The class used is benign and malignant.
