Analysis backpropagation methods with neural network for prediction of children's ability in psychomotoric

A good age in optimizing aspects of development is at the age of 4-6 years, namely with psychomotor development. Psychomotor is broader, more difficult to monitor but has a meaningful value for the child's life because it directly affects his behavior and deeds. Therefore, there is a problem to predict the child's ability level based on psychomotor. This analysis uses backpropagation method analysis with artificial neural network to predict the ability of the child on the psychomotor aspect by generating predictions of the child's ability on psychomotor and testing there is a mean squared error (MSE) value at the end of the training of 0.001. There are 30% of children aged 4-6 years have a good level of psychomotor ability, excellent, less good, and good enough.

Selection of Student Achievement is conducted every year, starting from the level of study program, Faculty, to University, which then rank one will be sent to Kopertis level. The criteria made for the selection are Academic and Rich Scientific, Organizational, Personality, and English. In order for the selection of Student Achievement is Objective, then in addition to the presence of the jury is expected to use methods that support the decision to be more optimal in determining the Student Achievement. One method used is the Promethee Method. Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Evaluation (Promethee) is a method of ranking in Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM). PROMETHEE has the advantage that there is a preference type against the criteria that can take into account alternatives with other alternatives on the same criteria. The conjecture of alternate dominance over a criterion used in PROMETHEE is the use of values in the relationships between alternative ranking values. Based on the calculation result, from 7 applicants between Manual and Promethee Matrices, rank 1, 2, and 3, did not change, only 4 to 7 positions were changed. However, after the sensitivity test, almost all criteria experience a high level of sensitivity. Although it does not affect the students who will be sent to the next level, but can bring psychological impact on prospective student's achievement

A future networking design called "software-defined networking" combines network programmability with centralized administration (SDN). Network administration is currently handled by SDN, which, at the regulator, which acts as the cable network processor and divides the data plane into a control plane and a data aircraft. Recent breakthroughs in artificial intelligence (Al) have shown a stronger inclination for the science community to benefit from their ability to give learning capabilities and enhance Indicator. The author of this research provides a comprehensive analysis of initiatives underway to incorporate Al with SDN. The study concluded that the three primary Al thread where scientific research was centered were computer science, conceptual, and fuzzy reasoning systems. The authors of this paper explore the several fields in which these approaches may be used, their potential future applications, and the innovations made possible by the integration of AI-based methods into the SDN paradigm. By choosing the right SDN controller, any large organization may lower network complexity, implementation expenses, and maintenance costs. The focus of this article is software defined networking's benefits and downsides (SDN). Following is a basic explanation of artificial intelligence and a list of some of its most significant applications in SDN.

Development of coronary heart disease diagnosis system based on facial imagery

The effort of the community in early checkups for coronary heart disease is still very lacking. That is due to the less awareness and cost constraints so that heart disease is handled too late which causes the heart condition to get worse and even complications. A diagnosis of coronary heart risk based on facial texture has been done lately by researchers in China and produces pretty good output, but no similar study has been found in Indonesia. Therefore, this study aims to design several machine learning models and find out the performance of algorithms in diagnosing the risk of coronary heart disease with facial imagery. The research dataset was extracted using the Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix on specific areas of the face. The areas taken are right crow’s feet, right canthus, bridge nose, forehead, left canthus and left crow’s feet. The main focus of this study was on the performance of the Support Vector Machine, Decision Tree, and Neural Network models. Dataset processing procedures are divided into two, namely model making (training) and performance testing (testing). The findings showed that the best performing model was NN with an AUC score of 92.8%, followed by SVM with 85.6%, and the lowest was DT with 68% AUC. NN became the model with the best performance with 76.9% accuracy, 81.7% precision, 76.9% recall, and an F1 score of 77.5%.

The development of environmental pollution game based learning (EPGBL) for junior high school students

The aim of this study was to develop mobile learning media for android-based in the form of Environmental Pollution Game Based Learning (EPGBL) for junior high school students. This study is a research and development (R&D) that used ADDIE development model. There are 5 stages, namely: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. Mobile learning media that has been developed is an Android-based application (.apk) named EPGBL, with has size around 40 MB compatible on Android devices with variety of screen resolution sizes. The results of the study showed that: (1) The EPGBL are fit with the Indonesia science curriculum contents, (2) The quality of EPGBL based on the experts’ responses is in very good criteria. The EPGBL can motivate students to study more about environmental pollution concept because the EPGBL contains not only subject matter but also games in the form of puzzles, guess the picture, catch the trash, and finding words. In conclusion, EPGBL are feasible to be used in the environmental pollution concept for junior high school students.

The 21 st century science learning: HOTS and digital literacy among junior high school students in Semarang, Indonesia

The 21st-century skills was broadly discussed in all sectors. It challenges education to equip next generation with all important skills to face the digital technology transformation. The focus of this study was to identify profile of student's higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) and digital literacy among junior high school students in science learning. Mixed method, a combination of quantitative and qualitative was used in this study. A total number of 170 of grade 7th students in private and public junior high school in Semarang City were administered in the integrated science test (IST). IST were used to measure student's HOTS through constructed-multiple choice test. 17 science teachers were the key informant of HOTS and digital literacy in science learning. Rasch model and descriptive analysis used to identify HOTS and digital literacy based on gender and type of school. The results reveal that : (1) most of junior high school students HOTS performace were at low slight to moderate level (2) female students performs better than male students in HOTS, (3) type of school significantly impact on students' achievement, and (4) teachers' operation and thinking skills as basic skill of digital literacy were still unsufficient to provide digital-based learning. However, it is necessary to accustom implementation of HOTS assessment as well as digital technology in the science learning environment.

There are several ways to deal with security issues of confidential data sent via the internet, including using cryptographic techniques and steganography. Steganography is the science and art of concealing information / messages in a media in such a way that its existence is not detected by other parties who are not entitled to the information. Instead, cryptography disguises the meaning of a message, but does not hide that there is a message because the file looks suspicious. The Steganography technique used here was End Of File (EOF). The EOF technique described how to add data or files at the end of the image file. For this technique, the size of data or files that will be hidden could be larger than the size of the image file. The hidden data will be inserted at the end of the file so that it will not affect the image. This steganography application is also equipped with a cryptographic function Data Encryption Standard (DES) at the time of insertion of data that functions as a generator code and encrypts data, so that the security of a data in the file is more protected and protected from those who are not entitled to know the data. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The development of information and communication technology at this time has touched all sides of life. Almost no side of human life is not touched by this information technology, which is more synonymous with the world of computerization. No exception also with the computerization that is popular in the corporate environment and government agencies. If in ancient times everything was still done manually. However, at this time all leaders and management have realized the importance of this information technology products that can facilitate them in carrying out the day-to-day corporate functions. Decision Making System of goods purchasing is one of the determinants of the accumulation of goods. If the decision is taken right then stockpiling of goods can be avoided. In this thesis the authors designed a web-based system that helps Management in making the decision of the purchase amount of goods. the system was developed by using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and using SQL Server database processing applications. Alumni or college graduates have an essential role in their respective universities in establishing cooperation with various agencies. Therefore, the role of alumni can be optimized if the university has alumni data on an ongoing basis. Alumni data tracing is a Tracer study conducted in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural sciences, State University of Jakarta, Indonesia, which provides information on an alumnus data. Data collecting has been done using the online form method, namely Microsoft Forms. However, in reality, it is less effective because the data cannot be updated and the data management cannot be appropriately managed. This research is an innovation in searching and managing the alumni data in the form of a Tracer study information system. The system development model uses the Spiral Model since it is flexible and possible to make changes throughout the software development life cycle to accommodate any needed alterations.

A conceptual model of inquiry laboratory-based ethnosocioecology

The article is a literature review to emerge as a conceptual model of inquiry-based instruction. It was a study of literature and an analysis of the necessary to integrate local environmental knowledge into the instructional model, also the excessiveness and weakness of the inquiry cycle and especially inquiry lab. According to the analysis, the authors consider to design inquiry laboratory cycle based on ethnosocioecology and add one stage of the previous cycle which is consist of only five steps. The content of ethnosocioecology is expected to cultivate pre-service teacher awareness toward the environment. The additional step is an investigation. In addition to bridge the differences between upper and lower intellectual skills of the pre-service teacher, the investigation facilitates pre-service teacher to enlarge their knowledge, experience, and understanding about local practices in nature conservation to be applied in solving the environmental crisis. Hence, a new model of inquiry laboratory-based ethnosocioecology consists of six phases that are observation, investigation, manipulation, generalization, verification, and application. That phase is grounded to ethnosocioecology as a guide to conduct each stage of inquiry laboratory cycle. The new instructional model is predicted as a model to empower the environmental literacy among university student, especially biology pre-service teachers.
