STEM is the interdisciplinary subject's integration which plays a key role in the future career. The integration of STEM education and project-based learning on science worksheets in digital format needs to be explored as the alternative guideline for students to provide higher-order thinking skills. Thus, this research aims to develop bioacoustic student worksheet based on STEM-project to enhance critical thinking skills. Borg & Gall model was used and adopted into five main steps: (1) research and information collecting; (2) planning; (3) develop a form of product; (4) expert judgment; (5) product revision. The preliminary research was conducted through an online questionnaire and interview with 17 science teachers in Central Java to collect information about STEM-project based learning implementation and students' critical thinking. Validation of bioacoustic student worksheet was carried out to science learning experts and two instructional media experts. Data were collected through a media validation questionnaire. Descriptive quantitative technique was used to analyze the quality of developed worksheets by converting the score to a scale of 4 based on Nieveen's criteria. The worksheet has been developed in flipbook digital format with additional animation videos to promotes active learning which is easy to use. Measure the sound wave quantities and design the bioacoustics investigation on plant growth projects give opportunities to the students to ask questions, analyze, and evaluate. Based on the expert judgment using Nieveen criteria, the developed worksheet is feasible to use, and able to enhance critical thinking skill.

Deafness is a condition that results in the loss of hearing function, hindering the reception of information such as oral communication that relies on auditory senses. Consequently, individuals with hearing impairment experience communication barriers and may have limited or no ability to respond. One solution is the use of sign language. In Indonesia, there are two known sign languages: Sibi and Bisindo. Both serve the same function but differ in their style of movement and expression. Bisindo is considered more flexible as it conveys meaning based on the Indonesian language. However, the universal understanding of this language solution is still limited among many people. Therefore, a program is needed to facilitate translation between deaf individuals who use sign language and their counterparts who do not communicate through sign language. CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) is a deep learning algorithm used for training visual input data recognition by computer systems. There are various CNN-based architectures, and one of them is AlexNet. Based on the author's testing, the AlexNet architecture proves to be suitable for real-time sign language translation. The evaluation of the system involved 7,800 datasets and 520 testing instances, with an average accuracy of 468 correct translations. When averaged, the system achieved a 90% accuracy rate, representing a 100% increase in accuracy compared to previous approaches.

Eye disorders such as cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy can cause abnormalities in eye function, including blindness. This research aims to develop a machine-learning model and find the best model for detecting eye diseases. Deep Learning methods based on the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model will be used to create eye disease detection models by adding the RMSProp, SGD, and Adam optimizers techniques. The dataset used consists of 4 classes, namely normal (1074 data), glaucoma (1007 data), cataract (1038 data), and diabetic retinopathy (1098 data), totaling 4217 fundus images. The evaluation results reveal the CNN model with the RMSProp optimizer has better model performance with a value of 88% accuracy, 88% precision, 87% recall, and 88% f1-score, and based on the AUC value on the ROC-AUC curve for each class is above 0.90, which means that the model can differentiate data between classes well and is included in the Excellent classification category.

This research paper presents a bread mold identification system that utilizes digital image processing techniques, specifically K-means clustering and thresholding, to accurately detect and classify mold-infected areas on bread. The system aims to provide valuable information regarding the safety of consuming mold-contaminated bread, enabling consumers to make informed decisions and reduce the risk of health issues associated with consuming mold-infested bread. the K-means clustering algorithm for mold classification, considering factors such as the number of iterations and the distance metric within the feature space to determine its accuracy. The GLCM feature extraction technique is employed to extract texture information from bread images, encompassing features such as standard deviation (110.62), contrast (1.46), energy, and homogeneity (0.96 and 0.77, respectively). Experimental results demonstrate that the Euclidean Distance yielded the highest result of 72.73, the Cosine Distance obtained the highest result of 8.25, and the City Block Distance obtained the highest result of 92.11. These findings showcase the effectiveness of the system in accurately detecting and classifying mold-infected areas on bread, thereby aiding in ensuring food safety and reducing health risks for consumers.
