The gaming industry produces vast amounts of user-generated feedback, making it challenging for developers to efficiently analyze and respond to real-time reviews. This study addresses the problem of classifying large-scale unstructured user feedback from Steam reviews. In this paper an approach that integrates traditional machine learning models and deep learning models is proposed. XGBoost is used to manage feature-rich datasets, reducing overfitting. Long-short-term memory (LSTM) and Bi-directional LSTM are used to enhance the accuracy and robustness of classification. Feature extraction techniques, such as sentiment analysis and topic modeling, are employed to enrich the dataset and improve model performance. The experimental results show that the XGBoost model achieved the highest performance with an accuracy of 0.9499 and a ROC-AUC score of 0.6113, demonstrating superior performance in distinguishing between positive and negative feedback. In comparison, deep learning models such as LSTM and Bi-directional LSTM showed lower ROC-AUC scores, indicating less effectiveness in handling the classification task. This approach offers game developers a reliable and scalable solution for classifying user sentiment, leading to better game improvements based on user reviews. © 2025 by the authors of this article.

This research aims to develop an expert system for initial diagnoses of skin diseases in cats using the Decision Tree method. It assists cat owners in identifying skin diseases based on observed symptoms. Data from expert veterinarian drh. Ismi Azima, including various types of cat skin diseases and their symptoms, were used. The research employs 80% training data and 20% testing data to develop the classification model. Testing results indicate the Decision Tree model achieves up to 90% average accuracy in diagnosing cat skin diseases based on 50 datasets. This expert system aids in diagnosis and provides treatment and prevention solutions, beneficial for cat owners, especially in areas with limited veterinary access. In conclusion, this Decision Tree-based expert system effectively provides initial diagnoses of skin diseases in cats with high accuracy. © 2024 IEEE.

An Intrusion Detection System monitors the network for any malicious attacks. It is an ideal tool for protecting extensive business networks from any kind of attack. In this paper, an Intrusion Detection System using Bagging and ranked features has been proposed. The sample datasets for training the ensemble of classifiers in the bagging approach are obtained by generating subsets of the features ranked according to their importance in the classification process. OneR algorithm has been used to rank the features. The decision tree has been used as the base classifier in the bagging approach. The proposed system was able to predict attacks with an accuracy of 99.71% with a minimal number of features and outperformed other similar approaches discussed in the literature. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of computer Applications and Management 2023. Edge detection plays an important role in various fields by identifying object boundaries and supporting advanced image analysis, such as segmentation, recognition, and tracking. Many edge detection algorithms, such as Canny, Laplacian, and Prewitt, have been developed to address issues such as noise sensitivity, computational complexity, and detection accuracy. This research compares the optimized algorithms using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). The results of this study show that the optimized algorithm provides better performance based on the evaluation conducted using entropy, Mean Squared Error (MSE), and computation time, and has practical implications. This research also determines the most effective edge detection technique in various image processing scenarios, thus contributing to the optimization of image analysis workflows in real-world contexts. © 2024 IEEE.

Graphene oxide(GO)is a 2D coating material used to improve fiber optics sensors’response to relative *** resonators(MBRs)have garnered more attention as sensing media *** MBR with a 190μm diameter was coated with ***,tapered fiber light coupling was used to investigate the relative humidity sensing performance in the range of 35—70%RH at 25℃.The MBR showed a higher Q factor before and after GO *** sensitivity of 0.115 dB/%RH was recorded with the 190μm GO-coated MBR sample compared to a sensitivity of 0.022 dB/%RH for the uncoated MBR *** results show that the MBR can be used in fiber optic sensing applications for environmental sensing.

Clinical decision support systems (CDSSs) can effectively detect illnesses such as breast cancer (BC) using a variety of medical imaging techniques. BC is a key factor contributing to the rise in the death rate among women worldwide. Early detection will lessen its impact, which may motivate patients to have quick surgical therapy. computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) systems are designed to provide radiologists recommendations to assist them in diagnosing BC. However, it is still restricted and limited, the interpretability cost, time consumption, and complexity of architecture are not considered. These limitations limit their use in healthcare devices. Therefore, we thought of presenting a revolutionary deep learning (DL) architecture based on recurrent and convolutional neural networks called Bi-xBcNet-96. In order to decrease carbon emissions while developing the DL model for medical image analysis and meet the objectives of sustainable artificial intelligence, this study seeks to attain high accuracy at the lowest computing cost. It takes into consideration the various characteristics of the pathological variation of BC disease in mammography images to obtain high detection accuracy. It consists of six stages: identifying the region of interest, detecting spatial features, discovering the effective features of the BC pathological types that have infected nearby cells in a concentrated area, identifying the relationships between distantly infected cells in some BC pathological types, weighing the extracted features, and classifying the mammography image. According to experimental findings, Bi-xBcNet-96 beat other comparable works on the benchmark datasets, attaining a classification accuracy of 98.88% in DDSM dataset, 100% in INbreast dataset with 5.08% and 0.3% improvements over the state-of-the-art methods, respectively. Furthermore, a 95.79% reduction in computing complexity was achieved. © The Author(s) 2024.

High-fidelity(HiFi)sequencing has facilitated the assembly and analysis of the most repetitive region of the genome,the ***,our current understanding of human centromeres is based on a relatively small number of telomere-to-telomere assemblies,which have not yet captured its full *** this study,we investigated the genomic diversity of human centromere higher order repeats(HORs)via both HiFi reads and haplotype-resolved assemblies from hundreds of samples drawn from ongoing pangenome-sequencing projects and reprocessed them via a novel HOR annotation pipeline,*** used this wealth of data to provide a global survey of the centromeric HOR landscape;in particular,we found that 23 HORs presented significant copy number variability between *** detected three centromere genotypes with unbalanced population frequencies on chromosomes 5,8,and *** inter-assembly comparison of HOR loci further revealed that while HOR array structures are diverse,they nevertheless tend to form a number of specific landscapes,each exhibiting different levels of HOR subunit expansion and possibly reflecting a cyclical evolutionary transition from homogeneous to nested structures and back.

Lightweight image super-resolution reconstruction based on mixed attention and global inductive bias network

Convolutional neural network has significantly advanced the field of image super-resolution reconstruction in recent years. The insufficient ability to model global information of hierarchical features, incomplete attention to information, and excessive parameters make some based on convolutional methods face challenges. To address these issues, this paper designs the lightweight image super-resolution reconstruction based on Mixed Attention and Global Inductive bias Network(MAGIN), which directly captures the global information of phased features from the horizontal and vertical directions respectively to produce global inductive bias information. Furthermore, the global spatial attention block is proposed, which can realize the perception of global feature space without redundant operation. To realize more comprehensive attention for features, a mixed attention block arises, which enables the network to attend to features across different dimensions: channel, spatial, and pixel levels. Extensive experimental results demonstrate that the MAGIN delivers more satisfactory results than some other advanced lightweight reconstruction algorithms on several standard test datasets under the condition of considering the network’s performance, parameter and computational complexity. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

Automated incidence reporting requires accurate and timely anomaly detection. This paper considers this in the context of the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). BGP is crucial for Internet routing but is vulnerable to attacks due to a lack of widespread authentication. While rare, BGP disruptions can be highly detrimental to Internet performance and security. Detecting BGP anomalies helps network operators protect their networks and improve Internet reliability. In this work, we investigate and develop anomaly detection for BGP using Machine-Learning. We extract relevant features of BGP control plane messages from RIPE RIS and RouteViews public datasets. After extracting features, we employ various feature selection algorithms to extract the most relevant features and explore balancing the datasets. Finally, we explore detection latency, an important operating parameter for automated anomaly detection. The results show that BGP anomalies can be detected in the order of seven minutes when using real attack data and that the observation point for the BGP data has a significant effect on anomaly detection. © 2025 IEEE.

Within the electronic design automation(EDA) domain, artificial intelligence(AI)-driven solutions have emerged as formidable tools, yet they typically augment rather than redefine existing methodologies. These solutions often repurpose deep learning models from other domains, such as vision, text, and graph analytics, applying them to circuit design without tailoring to the unique complexities of electronic circuits. Such an “AI4EDA” approach falls short of achieving a holistic design synthesis and understanding,overlooking the intricate interplay of electrical, logical, and physical facets of circuit data. This study argues for a paradigm shift from AI4EDA towards AI-rooted EDA from the ground up, integrating AI at the core of the design process. Pivotal to this vision is the development of a multimodal circuit representation learning technique, poised to provide a comprehensive understanding by harmonizing and extracting insights from varied data sources, such as functional specifications, register-transfer level(RTL) designs, circuit netlists,and physical layouts. We champion the creation of large circuit models(LCMs) that are inherently multimodal, crafted to decode and express the rich semantics and structures of circuit data, thus fostering more resilient, efficient, and inventive design methodologies. Embracing this AI-rooted philosophy, we foresee a trajectory that transcends the current innovation plateau in EDA, igniting a profound “shift-left” in electronic design methodology. The envisioned advancements herald not just an evolution of existing EDA tools but a revolution, giving rise to novel instruments of design-tools that promise to radically enhance design productivity and inaugurate a new epoch where the optimization of circuit performance, power, and area(PPA) is achieved not incrementally, but through leaps that redefine the benchmarks of electronic systems' capabilities.
