Many individuals now trade online utilizing trading software in the digital world. Binomo is one of Indonesia's most popular trading platforms. This is because some influencers made several promises to Binomo customers. Since many customers were deceived, this case became quite popular. This study was executed to see how Indonesians felt about the Binomo application after the case went viral. The solution taken was in the form of sentiment analysis because there had been no previous research on sentiment analysis that discussed the Binomo case. The data was scanned using Netlytic tools, a cloud-based text and social network analyzer capable of identifying any talks on social media sites such as Twitter. The sentiment analysis of Binomo trading tweets by using the Multi-Perspective Question Answering lexicon utilized the KNIME tool. But unfortunately, the accuracy of sentiment analysis results is low. Furthermore, the Support Vector Machine technique is also being conducted. The Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency method is applied to perform feature extraction whilst the chi-square approach is utilized to identify features that are thought to be useful for inclusion in the classification process and to exclude features that are irrelevant to the target class. The obtained accuracy is 86%. The study proposes that words from the algorithm's outputs can be utilized to improve the quality of sentiment analysis using the lexicon. As an outcome of the algorithm, positive and negative terms are added to the lexicon, increasing the accuracy of sentiment analysis using the new vocabulary from 58.984% to 71.146%.

The escalating visibility of secure direct object reference (IDOR) vulnerabilities in API security, as indicated in the compilation of OWASP Top 10 API Security Risks, highlights a noteworthy peril to sensitive data. This study explores IDOR vulnerabilities found within Android APIs, intending to clarify their inception while evaluating their implications for application security. This study combined the qualitative and quantitative approaches. Insights were obtained from an actual penetration test on an Android app into the primary reasons for IDOR vulnerabilities, underscoring insufficient input validation and weak authorization methods. We stress the frequent occurrence of IDOR vulnerabilities in the OWASP Top 10 API vulnerability list, highlighting the necessity to prioritize them in security evaluations. There are mitigation recommendations available for developers, which recognize its limitations involving a possibly small and homogeneous selection of tested Android applications, the testing environment that could cause some inaccuracies, and the impact of time constraints. Additionally, the study noted insufficient threat modeling and root cause analysis, affecting its generalizability and real-world relevance. However, comprehending and controlling IDOR dangers can enhance Android API security, protect user data, and bolster application resilience.

Motivated by ethical concerns, we build upon prior research on adult stakeholder perspectives on the potential uses of augmented reality smart glasses (ARSG) by children by obtaining the perspectives of 3-5-year-old children through play-based design activities. In the activities, children imagined a broad set of experiences with ARSG technologies, such as perceiving a range of objects, imagined beings and places, as well as altering the perception of items in the real world. We also noted that children often expected to perceive the same items as others, which facilitated social activities, but also engaged in selective disclosure when perceiving something more private. The activities we conducted provide insights on likely expectations by this age group for ARSG activities, which should be considered in future designs and ethical reflections, as well as further validation of play-based design as a method to obtain preschool children's ideas about technologies.

The Internet of Things (IoT) was evaluated as part of this study. The IoT system in this study is the air quality monitoring system. The system consists of three layers, three end devices with air quality monitoring sensors as the perception layer, the LoRaWAN network as the network layer, and the monitoring website as the presentation layer. Before being made available to the public, IoT hardware and software must undergo testing. For IoT systems, there are no established standards or quality criteria. This study's goal is to evaluate the methodology for an air quality monitoring system. Website speed is measured using Pingdom tools. The website received a performance grade of B. Pingdom offers advice for enhancing website performance. Sucuri is utilized as a security test tool to evaluate the website's security, and consequently, no malware was discovered. The latency and data dependability are monitored to assess the system's performance fully. The outcome demonstrates that all system components consistently and accurately receive data with a latency of less than 1 s.

Citrus Limon L. (Lemon) is a type of fruit that is currently widely consumed, because it contains abundant vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants. This fruit have high potential in the agribusiness sector and is widely cultivated by traditional farmers. However, during harvest time, traditional farmers generally still use manual methods using the human eye in distinguishing the maturity level of lemons which is less efficient because it has a low accuracy. Digital image processing is one solution to this problem. In the research on the classification of lemon maturity levels using digital image processing with the feature extraction method of the Mean RGB, HSV, and LBP methods and the K-Nearest Neighbor classification algorithm in this study, a total of 120 lemon images were used which were divided into 80 training image data and 40 image data. testing. The results of model performance measurements in the form of the highest accuracy level in the Mean RGB method of 100%, the highest accuracy in the HSV method of 98%, and the highest accuracy in the LBP method of 82.5%. © 2023 IEEE.

Eye disorders such as cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy can cause abnormalities in eye function, including blindness. This research aims to develop a machine-learning model and find the best model for detecting eye diseases. Deep Learning methods based on the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model will be used to create eye disease detection models by adding the RMSProp, SGD, and Adam optimizers techniques. The dataset used consists of 4 classes, namely normal (1074 data), glaucoma (1007 data), cataract (1038 data), and diabetic retinopathy (1098 data), totaling 4217 fundus images. The evaluation results reveal the CNN model with the RMSProp optimizer has better model performance with a value of 88% accuracy, 88% precision, 87% recall, and 88% f1-score, and based on the AUC value on the ROC-AUC curve for each class is above 0.90, which means that the model can differentiate data between classes well and is included in the Excellent classification category.

The increasing use of digital payment systems has led to a rise in fraudulent activities, presenting a significant challenge in ensuring secure transactions. This research focuses on implementing the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm with a Radial Basis Function (RBF) kernel to detect fraud in digital payment systems. One of the main challenges addressed in this study is the severe class imbalance in the dataset, where fraudulent transactions account for only 0.17% of total transactions. To overcome this, the SMOTE (Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique) method was applied to balance the dataset, allowing the model to better recognize fraudulent patterns. The results indicate that the SVM model achieved an accuracy of 99.93%, with a precision of 86.23% and a recall of 75.51%. These results demonstrate that SVM, combined with SMOTE and RBF kernel, is highly effective in detecting fraudulent transactions while minimizing false positives. This research provides a strong foundation for improving fraud detection models in the context of digital payment systems, offering enhanced security and trust for users. Further research could explore hybrid models and real-time data analysis to improve performance. © 2024 IEEE.

Breast cancer is an occurrence of cancer that attacks breast tissue and is the most common cancer among women worldwide, affecting one in eight women. In this modern world, breast cancer image classification simplifies the process of analyzing, providing objective and accurate results. By leveraging machine learning algorithms and computer vision techniques, we developed breast cancer detection. The dataset is histopathology dataset from BreakHis and UNHAS Hospital. We chose the ConvNeXt-Tiny model then modified the classifier head as the proposed method. Before the dataset is processed by the model, we augment the images by applying random horizontal and vertical flips, adjustments to brightness, contrast, saturation, and hue using color jitter. The augmentation process simulates real-world variance and enhances the model's ability to generalize to unseen data. Our proposed model gained better performance (accuracy, F1-Score) results compared two other techniques to VGG16 and SVM. According to our experiments, the F1-Score for the ConvNeXt-Tiny model with classifier head modification is higher at 0.9516, than the gain for VGG16 at 0.9292, and the gain for the SVM at 0.83.

YNote: A Novel Music Notation for Fine-Tuning LLMs in Music Generation

The field of music generation using Large Language Models (LLMs) is evolving rapidly, yet existing music notation systems, such as MIDI, ABC Notation, and MusicXML, remain too complex for effective fine-tuning of LLMs. These formats are difficult for both machines and humans to interpret due to their variability and intricate structure. To address these challenges, we introduce YNote, a simplified music notation system that uses only four characters to represent a note and its pitch. YNote’s fixed format ensures consistency, making it easy to read and more suitable for fine-tuning LLMs. In our experiments, we fine-tuned GPT-2 (124M) on a YNote-encoded dataset and achieved BLEU and ROUGE scores of 0.883 and 0.766, respectively. With just two notes as prompts, the model was able to generate coherent and stylistically relevant music. We believe YNote offers a practical alternative to existing music notations for machine learning applications and has the potential to significantly enhance the quality of music generation using LLMs. Copyright © 2025, The Authors. This study explores the feasibility of using large language models (LLMs), specifically GPT-4o (ChatGPT), for automated grading of conceptual questions in an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering course. We compared the grading performance of GPT-4o with that of human teaching assistants (TAs) on ten quiz problems from the MEEN 361 course at Texas A&M University, each answered by approximately 225 students. Both the LLM and TAs followed the same instructor-provided rubric to ensure grading consistency. We evaluated performance using Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) to assess the alignment between rankings and the accuracy of scores assigned by GPT-4o and TAs under zero- and few-shot grading settings. In the zero-shot setting, GPT-4o demonstrated a strong correlation with TA grading, with Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient exceeding 0.6 in seven out of ten datasets and reaching a high of 0.9387. Our analysis reveals that GPT-4o performs well when grading criteria are straightforward but struggles with nuanced answers, particularly those involving synonyms not present in the rubric. The model also tends to grade more stringently in ambiguous cases compared to human TAs.
