Measurement of activeness lecturers in SmartLecturer based learning using fuzzy Mamdani and Sugeno

The success of learning in a classroom that uses supporting media demands lecturer activity. The level of activity of lecturers in class and using learning media such as Smart lecturer can be measured using a fuzzy logic approach. This study aims to measure the level of active lecturers using the approach, namely: Mamdani and Sugeno method. Stages of lecturer activity measurement by forming a fuzzy set, composition rules as many as 24 rules and the defuzzification process using the centroid method that produces the level of activity of each is low, medium and high. Based on 173 lecturer activity data, the results of the Mamdani method indicates low 66%, medium 31%, and high 3%. While the Sugeno method produces a level of activity low 75%, moderate 17%, and high 8%. Therefore, Mamdani method is more suitable for the calculation because the spread of results is relatively evenly distributed at each level.

Globally, internet users and mobile phone are increasing significantly all the time. One of the impacts from the growth of it, there is the revolution in a traditional market. Nowadays, people tend to buy something through an online channel or electronic marketplace (e-marketplace). This study aims to obtain literature of key success factors of e-marketplace implementation. It uses Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines to articles published in 2005-2018. A total of 231 articles obtain from considerable databases for instance: IEEE Explore, ACM Digital Library, science Direct and etc. Furthermore, it validates and examines in order to obtain 37 articles which can be used as the main study. As the result, it finds 11 key success factors for e-marketplace as follows: Trust, technical, platform, platform owner, product, service operation, seller, marketing and sales, payment channel, buyer, and environmental. © 2018 IEEE.

The development of information technology will certainly have a major influence on all aspects of life, not least for companies engaged in the supply chain. The role of information technology and electronic networks in running a supply chain is called the Electronic Supply Chain (e-Supply Chain). The main point of this research is to conduct a literature review to find the trigger factors and constraints in the e-supply chain. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review methodology to collect selected research articles. The steps in defining the selected article use PRISMA. Keywords used for article search are ('Trigger' OR 'Driving') AND 'Factors' AND 'Constraints' AND ('Supply Chain' OR 'SC') AND (' electronics supply chain' OR 'e-supply chain') AND 'Processes'. Source of data used includes: Elsevier, ACM Digital Library, Emerald Insight, IEEE Explore, Inder science publisher, and Springer. Based on the literature review that was carried out, the resulting trigger factors in the e-supply chain, including: Integrated supply chain system, IT Support, Service quality;while the constraints include: A supply chain network cyber attack, Manufacturing, storage or distribution problems, Operational, economic, environmental and social factors, Restrictive government regulations, Costs and logistics performance, cost of raw materials, Post-harvest waste, Global / digital markets, product life cycles, consumer demand, Logistics strategy, Global competitiveness, Internationalization of markets and climate change. © 2018 IEEE.

The purpose of this study is to find the influence factors of blockchain technology adoption of payments system in Indonesia banking industry. Moreover, the researchers proposed new model of payment system by using blockchain technology in Indonesia banking industry. All this time, the researchers of blockchain in payment systems were done in major countries such as UK, USA, Australia, Scotland, Germany, Japan, France, Italy, and China. Systematic Literature Review (SLR) used as a method in this study and there were five databases that taken as references, such as IEEE, science direct, AIS electronic, ACM and Google Scholar. The researchers were found 26 references Studies Included in Quantitative Synthesis and 9 variables (Easy to use, Usefulness, Transaction fees, Risk perception, Behaviour intention of use, Attitude toward, Cognitive style, Subjective Norm, Effectiveness). Based on the result of data analysis and discussion, there were two conclusions in this study, the first, the researchers found nine factors that expected tobe used as a reference if Indonesia banking industry wants to adopt blockchain technology for payment system;and second, the researchers had to propose payment system model by using blockchain technology in Indonesia banking industry. © 2018 IEEE.

Reinforcement Learning (RL) is an extraordinarily paradigm that aims to solve a complex problem. This technique leverages the traditional feedforward networks with temporal-difference learning to overcome supervised and unsupervised real-world problems. However, RL is one of state-of-the-art topic due to the opaque aspects in design and implementation. Also, in which situation we will get performance gain from RL is still unclear. Therefore, This study firstly examines the impact of Experience Replay in Deep Q-Learning agent with Self-Driving Car application. Secondly, The impact of Eligibility Trace in RNN A3C agents with Breakout AI game application is studied. Our results indicated that these two techniques enhance RL performance by more than 20 percent as compared with traditional RL methods.

Laser wakefield acceleration (LWFA) may achieve TeV/m gradients using high-density solid-state plasmas as accelerating media. However, the application of bulk solid materials requires attosecond laser pulses, such as X-ray lasers, to drive wakefields at these high densities. Additionally, the short wakefield wavelengths associated with solid-state plasmas greatly limit the accelerating length. An alternative approach employs 2D carbon-based nanomaterials, like graphene or carbon nanotubes (CNTs), configured into structured targets. These nanostructures are designed with voids or low-density regions to effectively reduce the overall plasma density. This reduction enables the use of longer-wavelength lasers and also extends the plasma wavelength and the acceleration length. In this study, we present, to our knowledge, the first numerical demonstration of electron acceleration via self-injection into a wakefield bubble driven by an infrared laser pulse in structured CNT targets, similar to the behavior observed in gaseous plasmas for LWFA in the nonlinear (or bubble) regime. Using the PIConGPU code, bundles of CNTs are modeled in a 3D geometry as 25 nm-thick carbon tubes with an initial density of 1022 cm−3. The carbon plasma is ionized by a three-cycle, 800 nm wavelength laser pulse with a peak intensity of 1021 W cm−2, achieving an effective plasma density of 1020 cm−3. The same laser also drives the wakefield bubble, responsible for the electron self-injection and acceleration. Simulation results indicate that fs-long electron bunches with hundreds of pC charge can be self-injected and accelerated at gradients exceeding 1 TeV/m. Both charge and accelerating gradient figures are unprecedented when compared with LWFA in gaseous plasma. © 2025, CC BY-NC-ND.

Text mining is a process to extract data based on text. The source of text mining should be coming from social media users' activities; e.g. posting, fans page, group, hashtag, tweet, etc. As raw data and information, the text mining sources are able to be gold information to be operated for academic analyzing purposes. This paper proposes the Python-based model to scrape text from Twitter user's tweets and then analyze them to see the commerce and tax-income potency in purposely Indonesia. The mathematical and statistical methods are technically operated. The constructed model finally exhibited. Also, the information on sale-behavior and tax-income forecasts are able to be portrayed.

This study focuses on the implementation of business property in real estate market. This is due to inability of the current technology to support the property products. Some people feel uncomfortable to buy houses from the online market. Buyers need to be very careful to deal with the sellers as the houses price is considered quite expensive. On the other hand, improving real estate market is still a challenge. This business still needs a physical representation, although it can be sold from the online market. In this paper, we propose the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) system of virtual reality and drone. We use drone to help scanning the property units and then make 3D models with visual mapping so it can be run in a virtual reality environment, video 360. In real estate, business process can be developed in various ways. Our proposed SOA in this study can be used to integrate all of them.

In a government institution many official letters are made daily, the letters have an official format in the Tanggal, No. Surat, Lampiran dan Hal. area, with an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) scanner an official letter can be digitized and processed to obtain characters that will be used as searches, but in fact in certain desired parts there are often handwriting, a method of pattern recognition is needed to recognize the handwriting. The process in this study including of normalization, segmentation and pattern recognition from labels in the Tanggal, No. Surat, Lampiran dan Hal. area,this system will generate output in text form, the output text is result that will use as a term in the process of the information Retrieval System, so the search for an official letter will be easy to do. This study is only makes the framework design for the next research authors will explain the detail of process and results obtained.

ThermalProGAN: A sequence-based thermally stable protein generator trained using unpaired data

MOTIVATION:The synthesis of proteins with novel desired properties is challenging but sought after by the industry and academia. The dominating approach is based on trial-and-error inducing point mutations, assisted by structural information or predictive models built with paired data that are difficult to collect. This study proposes a sequence-based unpaired-sample of novel protein inventor (SUNI) to build ThermalProGAN for generating thermally stable proteins based on sequence information. RESULTS:The ThermalProGAN can strongly mutate the input sequence with a median number of 32 residues. A known normal protein, 1RG0, was used to generate a thermally stable form by mutating 51 residues. After superimposing the two structures, high similarity is shown, indicating that the basic function would be conserved. Eighty four molecular dynamics simulation results of 1RG0 and the COVID-19 vaccine candidates with a total simulation time of 840[Formula: see text]ns indicate that the thermal stability increased. CONCLUSION:This proof of concept demonstrated that transfer of a desired protein property from one set of proteins is feasible.
