The characteristics of the disease that spreads quickly, the number of sufferers, and the severity of sufferers of Coronavirus Disease 2019 are components of uncertainty during the pandemic. In an uncertain situation, prediction models for the need for drugs and medical devices are of great concern to policymakers in government, drug manufacturers, distributors, and pharmaceutical installation managers to maintain drug availability. Drug need prediction models that rely on historical data components on drug use are no longer reliable. Learning from the COVID-19 case, epidemiological variables correlate with predicting drug demand. This research includes data on ten major diseases in private hospital units for 2017-2022 to complete historical data on drug use. This study implements the Random Forest algorithm. The research method uses literature studies and processing field data from pharmaceutical installations. The analysis process uses KNIME software. The level of accuracy in predicting drug demand from historical drug use data was 77.272%, increasing to 81.818% with a model for predicting drug demand based on consumption cycles and classification of drug therapy groups. Furthermore, predictions of drug demand can consider variables recorded in medical records related to the seasonal frequency of diseases. © 2023 IEEE.

As a company which relates its customer service, a software company (this case is PT Boon Software) is induced to give the good service to its customer. The existing information technology (IT) system service is made by patchwork. It brings some problems in service catalog, problem managment, change management, and service level agreement (SLA). The purpose of this research is to implement helpdesk system to software company with information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework as a standard reference to solve various problem related information technology service on a company. This research starts by investigation all stakeholders of the company with some questionnares. Implementation ITIL is strated by finding the gap between the current condition and the standard base line in ITIL. After implementation IT service using ITIL, the stakeholders are asked the same questionnares. The result shows that there is significant different before and after implementing system service using ITIL. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Wireless technology gradual growth in the latest years has facilitated it to bridge its applications operated extensively in many types of industry. Wireless sensor network (WSN) technology brings several benefits over traditional wired technology by reason of the lower cost, immense flexibility escalation, and scalability which is able to be obtained from the old-style one. However, in its application WSN still experience some constraints on resource limitations in the form: processor, memory and energy, and any more challenges that related to availability, reliability and security. Based on its benefits, limitation, and challenges, and also three systematic stages, the review study was performed. The result of study was portrayed in this paper. It is regarding investigation result of hybrid cryptography (HC, as one of defense methods) realized for WSN to methodically increase the security level and decrease the resources usage. The result concluded that HC was proven in escalating the security defense level and downgrading the resources use on WSN compared to symmetric and asymmetric algorithms. © 2018 IEEE.

Attendance, presence, or attendance recording is very important for every lecture, office or other organizational activities. Currently, recording student attendance activities at Mercu Buana University is by calling one by one the students by the lecturer, then the lecturer signs attendance on the special application form for lecturers that have been provided. For this reason, it is necessary to design a database to create the database. The analysis used is SWOT to compare between Gaudy Booch and Ivan Jacobson methods. This comparison is used to find out which method is appropriate in implementing a better database. Based on the database design that is made to further facilitate archiving of attendance, increase data efficiency. From the results of the research with class diagram description objects, the class diagram and database model that we use is from Ivar Jacobson, because it shows how actors from class diagrams point to Object-Oriented Software Engineering that has advantages that are easy to learn and have notation simpler. © 2019 IOP Publishing Ltd. The idea of the traditional histogram shifting technique is to hide a message within the cover-image pixel distribution. However, the embedding capacity is limited by the peak point occurrences. To solve this problem, many reversible data hiding (RDH) techniques are developed to combine pixel prediction and histogram shifting to increase the embedding payload. In this paper, a RDH scheme based on chessboard prediction and pixel partitioning is proposed for enhancing the hiding payload. Pixel partitioning is used to separate a pixel into two parts: most significant bit and least significant bit. Then, the chessboard predictor is adopted to generate prediction errors and separate the pixels. Thereafter, histogram shifting is applied to embed the secret messages into prediction errors. Due to the high similarity of adjacent pixels in an image, the generated prediction errors are highly close to zero, resulting in a large embedding space. The experimental results indicate that the proposed method has superior performance in embedding capacity with acceptable image visual quality compared to existing schemes since it adopts the adaptive adjustment strategy to achieve this improved balance. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature 2024.

Since the emergence of Pokémon Go in 2016, the world has been introduced to Augmented Reality (AR) games. Many IT companies have begun developing augmented reality (AR) games due to the great commercial potential in this industry. Certain products may have managed to remain viable in the market, while others were forced to close due to one or two factors. Since the emergence of Pokémon Go, no other game has managed to surpass its unprecedented success. The company responsible for developing Pokémon Go has decided to shut down one of their games due to a lack of consumer interest. The technology of augmented reality (AR) is consistently associated with the concept of immersion. Immersion is a key aspect of the game that allows users to deeply engage and feel fully involved in the experience. This study will employ a quantitative methodology, utilising a questionnaire that will be distributed to and completed by those who have engaged in augmented reality (AR) games. The data will be analysed using Smart PLS to examine the impact of user experience on immersion, which in turn influences intention. After gathering over 200 participants by spreading google form questionnaires and doing data analysis, the findings indicate that only a few aspects of user experience, namely Brand Experience and User Need Experience, have an impact on reasons. Niantic, the developer of Pokémon Go, was unable to replicate their success with a similar augmented reality game called Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. The initial release occurred on June 21, 2019, and the shutdown took place on December 21, 2021. In the beginning, they shown a profound enthusiasm for the game but were unable to sustain it, much as Pokémon Go. According to Niantic CEO John Hanke, the primary reason for the game's shutdown was its immersion. This article describes the architecture of software services that provide registration of small boat data to build maritime safety. The proposed system architecture which so-called SIMKAPEL aims to support small boat registration for maritime safety. It is developed from a conventional service-oriented architecture (SOA) with an open standard for data interoperability between elements. The goal of this research is to implement and evaluate the proposed architecture to support small boat registration and e-certification. Several parts of the architecture have been implemented as a platform that provides core services and data sources to be used by Ministry of Transportation, Directorate General of Sea Transportation, and other government agencies. Finally, the proposed SIMKAPEL platform with the SOA architecture is evaluated for its benefits to users through the expert opinion survey to measure its efficiency. The analysis results showed that SOA-based SIMKAPEL is feasible to use as a boat e-certification system. Furthermore, experiment results provide three parameters (e.g., maritime safety, namely, cargo/passengers, boat safety facilities, and maritime safety systems) with efficiency values of 42%, 46%, and 42%, respectively. The parameter with the highest efficiency shows a big effect on the level of safety of the boat and passengers. Thus, the parameters that need to be prioritized and need boat owners’ attention are cargo/passenger, boat safety equipment, and maritime safety system. © 2023, The Author(s).

Improving the company's performance to compete globally, in rapid growth market economy condition, is practically required. One of the important things is right decision in issues of supplier selection. The improper supplier affects consequence negatively to the quality of company's business process. Thus, the right way to answer the issues is incredibly crucial to be proposed. This study aims to design an application to determine the sub-criteria weight with Fuzzy-AHP method, select the best supplier via Fuzzy-TOPSIS method, and calculate the allocation of quota to each supplier thru Fuzzy-MOLP method. The study was conducted on high class store by taking the object of material gymnastic product (spandex). Simulation confidently demonstrates that the Fuzzy-AHP approach is able to be operated to generate parameter Quality Product as the best sub-criteria (with value 0.221), the Fuzzy-TOPSIS technique can be used to ring out the supplier (where CV. Maju Jaya Abadi as the best supplier), and the method Fuzzy-MOLP is exploited to calculate the allocation of quota (where CV. Maju Jaya Abadi as a supplier with the highest percentage of 44.40%). © 2018 IEEE.

Understanding learning culture based on learning activities is important for learning success in an e-Learning. As an effort that can be done for this purpose, it is necessary to build a student learning culture based on students activities. The study proposes a Cultural Framework for Learning in an E-Learning. It is called E-LEEP Culture because used in an e-Learning the Equality Education program (E-LEEP). This framework has five key components, namely: Students, E-LEEP, Learning Activities, Learning Culture, and Digital Contents. Learning culture component in E-LEEP Culture Framework consists of sharing activities, getting information, discussingIndividualistic Learning, Collaborative Learning, Learning Time (learn a little), and Learning Time (learn a lot).
