With the development of Internet+, an open and innovative educational ecosystem is forming. The combination of Internet and education can greatly promote the integration and utilization of high-quality education resources. Firstly, we analyze the main problems in the construction of digital education resources. Secondly, we explore the co-creation construction model of high-quality mathematical resources among government, enterprises and schools, including the main elements of the model, the connection between the elements and the related mechanism support. Finally, it takes NetPad as an example to carry out practical research on the co-creation of digital education resource in the field of basic education, improving the construction and service level of high-quality digital education resources. © 2023 ACM.

In this study, we compare the virtual and real gait parameters to investigate the effect of appearances of embodied avatars and virtual reality experience on gait in physical and virtual environments. We developed a virtual environment simulation and gait detection system for analyzing gait. The system transfers real-life scenarios into a realistic presentation in the virtual environment and provides look-alike same-age and old-age avatars for participants. We conducted an empirical study and used subjective questionnaires to evaluate participants' feelings about the virtual reality experience. Also, the paired sample t-test and neural network were implemented to analyze gait differences. The results suggest that there are disparities in gait between virtual and real environments. Also, the appearance of embodied avatars could influence the gait parameters in the virtual environment. Moreover, the experience of embodying old-age avatars affects the gait in the real world.

Various needs for specific professional knowledge manifest different levels of perseverance in students to complete the educational process from the start to its logical end. This process is a key feature of any learning format. These arguments determine the relevance to investigate the process of self-regulation in educational activity. The purpose of the work is to build the models that characterize self-regulation of the student’s cognitive activity and involvement in knowledge acquisition. To achieve the purpose, the following tasks are to be solved. 1. Review of scientific publications. 2. Building graphical and cognitive models of the problem under study. 3. Analysis of models using statistical and IT approach. 4. Formulation of conclusions. Statistical analysis shows that the level of self-regulation of behavior among the students in the city of Bishkek is higher than among the students in the city of Omsk. As for the level of self-regulation of educational activities, it is higher among the students in Omsk than among the students in Bishkek. As a result, it is found that the factors "motivation" of the student learning activity and the factor "flexibility" in actions are decisive for the investigation of the phenomenon. The results of q-connectivity show that the vertices of the graph of a cognitive model with high-dimensional simplexes are these factors. The obtained results are recommended to specialists in the field of pedagogical science to manage the educational system as a whole. © 2024 IEEE.

The global prevalence of anxiety has seen a significant increase in the past few years. Anxiety, if left untreated, can lead to various detrimental effects, such as sleep disturbances, excessive fear, and even suicidal tendencies. Traditional face-to-face therapies have been employed to address this issue;however, their effectiveness is limited by time and space constraints, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, computer-based systems have emerged as a potential solution. However, most existing relaxation systems rely on a single method and have unnatural interactions, leading to a lack of variety and engagement. To overcome these limitations, this study proposes a virtual reality (VR) relaxation system that combines various relaxation techniques, a captivating storyline and natural interactions to enhance the user experience. To assess the effectiveness of the proposed system, a pilot study was conducted with 36 participants. The study utilized a between-subjects design, dividing the participants into three groups: a control group, a progressive muscular relaxation group, and a virtual reality relaxation group. The findings revealed that the virtual reality relaxation system significantly reduced anxiety levels among the participants. Importantly, this effect was observed to persist even after a period of time and was found to be more effective than using only one relaxation method in the long term. Moreover, the performance of our system is close to that of commercial systems. © 2024 IEEE.

The evolution of Python requires accurate version identification to facilitate compatibility and ongoing support. We extend previous work on deep learning models for Python version identification, where LSTM and CodeBERT achieved a 92% accuracy on short code snippets. We further expand these results to larger realistic files, utilising code segmentation techniques for varying input granularities. These techniques ranged from per-line analysis to larger code segments. Our findings show that while LSTM with CodeBERT embeddings maintained high accuracy on short snippets, performance significantly drops on longer segments, particularly in balancing information retention and misclassification risks. Notably, import-statement analysis, despite being the most intuitive indicator of version requirements, reached only a 30% accuracy. This exposes the limitations of our approach when encountering rare or user-defined modules. The findings expose the limitations of deep learning for language version identification, and suggest that alternative approaches may be necessary for high accuracy on larger datasets.

Ischaemic Heart Disease (IHD) is a major cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Clinical diagnosis involves complex, costly and potentially invasive procedures. To reduce the cost and risk to patients, we present a functioning machine learning (ML) pipeline and developed ML predictive models for IHD diagnosis using a limited number of risk factors in a clinical dataset. We fine-tuned and compared a number of learning algorithms and feature selection methods. The effectiveness of proposed methods was evaluated with quantitative measures and clinician input. The best accuracy of 92.9% was achieved, demonstrating a promising tool for screening IHD patients. Practical issues and data bias when applying ML on medical data are discussed. © 2022 IEEE.

Unacceptable amounts of computation can be generated in massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems with minimum mean squared error (MMSE) detection at the received side. A weighted Gauss-Seidel iterative algorithm with fast convergence is launched. The proposed algorithm uses a mixture of Conjugate Gradient and Jacobi iterations to select the optimal search direction. Then weighting factor is used to accelerate the traditional Gauss-Seidel iterative algorithm. The results show that the detection capability of the scheme has been improved. The theoretical analysis verifies that the proposed algorithm has a lower computational complexity compared to the MMSE algorithm. After simulation analysis, the recommended algorithm can gain better convergence speed and BER function with fewer iterations. If user antennas setting values is similar to base station antennas, the proposed algorithm is significantly better. © 2023 IEEE.

Schools have become increasingly influenced by what has been called the Social Internet of Things (SIoT). As many schools transitioned to online teaching and learning in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a need to analyze data on technology adoption in schools for changes and continuity since the inception of increasingly popular smartphones since 2007 that has affected videoconferencing, blended learning, and the flipped classroom concept. In this study, videoconference technology is the main factor analyzed in relation to IoT and schools in which handheld devices are considered gateways to further integration of schools into an IoT framework. The researchers analyze a selection of a 2009 dataset and a 2019 dataset from the National Center for Education Statistics (United States) to discuss teachers' perceptions of technology, especially the use of handheld devices and videoconference technology. Recommendations for educator preparation programs (EPPs) are made based on the discussion of the results of this analysis in context with the events of 2020 for why EPPs could emphasize flipped classroom design models within an SIoT framework. © 2023 IEEE.
