Trustworthy and composite web services play important roles in service-oriented systems. Web services choreography as one important approach of composing web services describes the global model of service interactions among a set of participants. Bisimilar analysis that checks whether two choreographies are behavioural equivalent is an important verification approach for trustworthy composition. This paper discusses strong and weak bisimilarity of choreographies. Internal and external roles are distinguished from special roles that we hope to verify their observable behaviours. A language named Chor which is based on abstract syntax of WS-CDL is proposed to describe behaviours. In Chor, internal roles and internal activities among them are abstracted for their no effect on externally observable behaviour. A real example is presented to illustrate the usages and benefits of the formal analysis. © 2010 IEEE.

Wireless computing ax a brand new computing paradigm, hax changed the way information is delivered. Our paper concerns with applying multi-channelling and indexing method in wireless broadcast environment. As wireless environment inherent resource limitations, the use of multi-channelling and indexing scheme will provide efficient data retrieval. We use share indices price context to demonstrate the effective uses of the mechanisms. The broadcast mechanism involves information retrieval from database server. The model is developed using wireless ad-hoc network infrastructure. © 2005 IEEE.

Multi Agent Based Simulation (MABS) has been used mostly in purely social contexts. However, compared to other approaches, e.g., traditional discrete event simulation, object-oriented simulation and dynamic micro simulation, MABS has a number of interesting properties which makes it useful also for other domains. For instance, it supports structure preserving modeling of the simulated reality, simulation of pro-active behavior, parallel computations, and very dynamic simulation scenarios. It is argued that MABS is a useful technique for simulating scenarios also in more technical domains. In particular, this hold for the simulation of technical systems that are distributed and involve complex interaction between humans and machines. To illustrate the advantages of MABS, an application concerning the monitoring and control of intelligent buildings is described. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2000.

Trust research is an important issue in P2P networks. Current trust models are lack of flexibility in dynamic environment. This paper presents a fine-grained trust computation model- FineTrust. The main contribution including: offering Gauss-bar function to evaluate the similarity of service satisfaction;considering the reliability of information from different people;setting some parameters in computing trust, such as recommendation consistent, recommendation accuracy, and recommendation error, which make the result of trust evaluation more natural, and so on. Theoretic analyses and simulations show that, the proposed trust model is more precise and more robust. © 2008 IEEE.

Rice, a crucial global food source, faces numerous challenges impacting its quality and quantity. Pakistan is a significant rice producer and needs more agricultural technological advancements. Conventional disease detection methods for rice plants are time-consuming and ineffective. However, recent progress in agricultural technology, particularly machine learning & deep learning, holds great promise for improved disease identification. In this study, different datasets were considered for preparing a dataset that is specifically related to Pakistan's environmental rice diseases. This study uses a prepared dataset to train the proposed fine-tuned ResNet101V2 model and for the robustness of the proposed model comparison with ResNet101, ResNet50V2, and DenseNet121 also performed in this study. Among the models evaluated, ResNet101V2 exhibited superior performance with a test accuracy of 81%, demonstrating high accuracy in identifying six distinct classes, including five rice leaf diseases (Leaf Blight, Leaf Smut, Hispa, Leaf Blast, and Brown Spot) and one healthy category specific to Pakistan environments. This study represents a significant advancement toward developing more efficient disease detection and management systems in rice farming, ultimately leading to reduced financial losses and improved agricultural practices. © 2023 IEEE.

Requirements modeling is a key procedure in requirements engineering and has a important effect on the quality and cost of software. In this paper, we introduce a software behavior oriented requirements model based on our research and give syntax and semantics of the model in detail. In order to affirm correctness and reliability of the requirements model, we descript some properties, such as consistency and safety of system, behavioral trust and behavioral non-termination by means of μ-calculus, and apply to a case. ©2010 IEEE.

Statistical principles suggest minimization of the total withingroup distance (TWGD) as a robust criterion for clustering point data associated with a Geographical Information System [17]. This NP-hard problem must essentially be solved using heuristic methods, although admitting a linear programming formulation. Heuristics proposed so far require quadratic time, which is prohibitively expensive for data mining applications. This paper introduces data structures for the management of large bi-dimensional point data sets and for fast clustering via interchange heuristics. These structures avoid the need for quadratic time through approximations to proximity information. Our scheme is illustrated with two-dimensional quadtrees, but can be extended to use other structures suited to three dimensional data or spatial data with timestamps. As a result, we obtain a fast and robust clustering method. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2001.

Data broadcasting is a scalable mechanism to disseminate information to a large number of mobile clients in a wireless environment. Our paper concerns with developing a data broadcasting system in a mobile environment, which involves data and index dissemination. The broadcasted data is retrieved from a database server. Subsequently, these data may be broadcasted periodically or aperiodically. As wireless environment inherent resource limitations, the use of indexing scheme will provide efficient data retrieval. We use share indices price context to demonstrate our proposed models. The models are developed using wireless ad-hoc network infrastructure. © 2005 IEEE.

Broadcast indexing is necessary to be applied in a wireless broadcast environment as such the scheme helps mobile clients to find the desired data instances efficiently. This is particularly important considering the inherent limitations in mobile environment. In this paper, we present a global indexing scheme for location dependent queries. The proposed scheme is designed to serve queries in which the query result is relevant to client's location. Global indexing scheme aims to minimise index access time while having all the advantages of index broadcasting. We develop a simulation model to find out the access time performance of global indexing scheme as compared to non-global indexing scheme. Additionally, we analyse the efficiency of valid scope used in the global index scheme as compared with an existing valid scope. It is found that global index performs substantially better than the existing indexing concept. © 2005 IEEE.

Changes in operating environment may result in the performance degradation and cost overruns to an Internetware application. An efficient way to solve such problems is to optimize its deployment architecture according to the changes. However, there may be many different deployment architectures and the optimal ones should exhibit right trade-offs among conflicting objectives. Finding optimal deployment architectures for an Internetware application is hard and time consuming. This paper propose to employ a multi-objective ant colony algorithm MACO-DO to explore the search space automatically, aiming at finding a set of pareto optimal deployment architectures for an Internetware application. This algorithm is an improved version of traditional algorithms. It introduces a discarding elitist strategy to prevent algorithm from premature convergence. A series of experiments are implemented on three simulated instances of different sizes to compare the proposed MACO-DO with recently proposed P-ACO and NSGA-II. The results show that MACO-DO has better performance than others on the considered problem. © 2015 ACM.
