Speech emotion recognition(SER)uses acoustic analysis to find features for emotion recognition and examines variations in voice that are caused by *** number of features acquired with acoustic analysis is extremely high,so we introduce a hybrid filter-wrapper feature selection algorithm based on an improved equilibrium optimizer for constructing an emotion recognition *** proposed algorithm implements multi-objective emotion recognition with the minimum number of selected features and maximum ***,we use the information gain and Fisher Score to sort the features extracted from ***,we employ a multi-objective ranking method to evaluate these features and assign different importance to *** with high rankings have a large probability of being ***,we propose a repair strategy to address the problem of duplicate solutions in multi-objective feature selection,which can improve the diversity of solutions and avoid falling into local *** random forest and K-nearest neighbor classifiers,four English speech emotion datasets are employed to test the proposed algorithm(MBEO)as well as other multi-objective emotion identification *** results illustrate that it performs well in inverted generational distance,hypervolume,Pareto solutions,and execution time,and MBEO is appropriate for high-dimensional English SER.

Performing an object detection task after the restoration of a hazy image, or rather detecting with the network backbone directly, will result in the inclusion of information mixed with dehazing, which tends to interfere with detection performance. To address these issues, we propose a novel framework for detecting objects in dehazed images via Dual Cross-Stage Partial Learning (DCSP). Specifically, we introduce a Cross-Stage Partial (CSP) module for extracting clean feature information after dehazing. Secondly, to enhance data integrity, we employ a skip-input strategy to supplement information related to object detection features that may be lost during the dehazing task, while avoiding the gradient vanishing problem. In addition, CSP is also introduced to facilitate comprehensive learning of multiple feature representations. Finally, to avoid the inclusion of irrelevant dehazing information in detection, we apply a Ground-Truth Flow at detection network (at dark3), for fine feature information calibration. Additionally, we created a synthetic fog dataset to expand the training data for DCSP. Experimental results on both synthetic and real-world datasets demonstrate the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed method. The code is available at https://***/zhaojinbiao/DCSP. © 2024 IEEE.

Adopting the CloudIoT-based healthcare paradigm provides various prospects for medical IT and considerably enhances healthcare services. However, compared to the advanced development of CloudIoT-based healthcare systems, their usage is relatively low among healthcare professionals in hospitals. Thus, a study on the healthcare professionals acceptance and adoption of CloudIoT-based healthcare is critical. This study explores factors influencing healthcare professionals adoption of CloudIoT-based healthcare solutions by extending the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 model. Data was collected from 300 healthcare professionals in Jordan through an online questionnaire developed using the Google^® form application. The Bayesian Network and Structural Equation Modeling techniques were used to analyze and validate the proposed model. The results revealed that the healthcare professional’s behavioral intention is directly affected by seven factors: performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, habit, trust, privacy, and security. The results also indicate that trust mediates the influence of privacy, facilitating conditions, and performance expectancy on behavioral intention. The research results will aid CloudIoT service providers, healthcare organizations, designers, and developers by offering comprehensive knowledge of the significant factors of CloudIoT-based healthcare adoption. A better understanding of these factors will help these stakeholder groups enhance their services and speed up the adoption of CloudIoT in the healthcare area. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of computer Applications and Management 2024.

Causal relationships are a scientific research method used to describe relationships between variable data, allowing for the excavation of the deep logic and operational mechanisms behind phenomena. The integration of causal relationships as a means of data analysis in the field of power systems improves the accuracy and efficiency of power systems analysis and operation. This paper presents the definition and origin of causal relationships and the principles of main causal analysis models. It overviews the application of causal relationships in power systems fault diagnosis, energy prediction, stability analysis, and the electricity market. Finally, it looks forward to the development prospects of causal relationships in combination with power physics models and artificial intelligence, promoting the construction of a reliable and intelligent new power systems under the penetration of renewable sources. © 2024 IEEE.

Due to the significant increase in data transmission speed and gradual increase in Doppler frequency shift, channel estimation accuracy has become one of the most prioritized considerations in many cases. Specifically, we propose an attention-based channel estimation network with a residual mechanism, named TRCE-Net. In our design, the use of the multi-head attention mechanism at the input of the encoder is to obtain richer feature details. A linear series decoder module is implemented by leveraging multiple residual networks with skip connections. This novel design is capable of improving the channel estimation accuracy after deepening the network while effectively preventing degradation. To lessen the number of parameters that the network needs to learn, we introduce the bi-linear interpolation mechanism to replace the traditional up-sampling layer to mitigate both computational overhead and model complexity. According to the simulation results, our proposed TRCE-Net is superior to other state-of-the-art methods with regard to estimation accuracy and robustness to different maximum Doppler shifts, such as ResNet and InterpolateNet. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The perception of offensive language varies based on cultural, social, and individual perspectives. With the spread of social media, there has been an increase in offensive content online, necessitating advanced solutions for its identification and moderation. This paper addresses the practical application of an offensive language taxonomy, specifically targeting Hebrew social media texts. By introducing a newly annotated dataset, modeled after the taxonomy of explicit offensive language of (Lewandowska-Tomaszczyk et al., 2023), we provide a comprehensive examination of various degrees and aspects of offensive language. Our findings indicate the complexities involved in the classification of such content. We also outline the implications of relying on fixed taxonomies for Hebrew. © 2024 Association for Computational Linguistics.

This paper proposes an innovative decision support system based on sentiment analysis, specifically designed for the transportation sector. The system employs an aspect-based sentiment analysis approach, which accurately identifies and classifies customer opinions on key transportation service aspects such as comfort, driver behavior, punctuality, and vehicle condition. By integrating the BERT model, known for its advanced natural language processing capabilities, our system provides an in-depth and reliable analysis of customer sentiments. This analysis enables managers and decision-makers to better understand the strengths and weaknesses of the provided transportation services and to precisely target areas that require improvement. By offering actionable insights, our approach aims to enhance the user experience, improve service quality, and increase overall customer satisfaction. © 2024 IEEE.

Assessing and prioritizing crucial drivers for CloudIoT-based healthcare adoption: an analytic hierarchy process approach

The CloudIoT paradigm has profoundly transformed the healthcare industry, providing outstanding innovation and practical applications. However, despite its many advantages, the adoption of this paradigm in healthcare settings remains limited. There is a lack of comprehensive understanding of the factors that ensure successful implementation. To address this issue, we have used the Analytic Hierarchy Process to prioritize 26 factors that could potentially influence the adoption of CloudIoT-based healthcare. These factors were derived from existing literature and categorized into four main groups: personal-specific, technology-specific, environment-specific, and organization-specific factors. Our findings revealed that performance expectancy, trust, facilitating conditions, task complexity, and perceived security are the top five critical factors influencing CloudIoT-based healthcare adoption. Interestingly, our results indicated that environmental factors were less influential than those in the other categories, with personal, technological, and organizational factors dominating the top ten significant factors. The insights from this study can help policymakers, CloudIoT service providers, healthcare providers, designers, and developers better understand the factors contributing to the successful implementation of CloudIoT-based healthcare. This understanding can guide decision-making and inform the development of strategies to promote the broader adoption of this innovative technology. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of computer Applications and Management 2024.

The Chief Complaint (CC) is a crucial component of a patient's medical record as it describes the main reason or concern for seeking medical care. It provides critical information for healthcare providers to make informed decisions about patient care. However, documenting CCs can be time-consuming for healthcare providers, especially in busy emergency departments. To address this issue, an autocompletion tool that suggests accurate and well-formatted phrases or sentences for clinical notes can be a valuable resource for triage nurses. In this study, we utilized text generation techniques to develop machine learning models using CC data. In our proposed work, we train a Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) model and fine-tune three different variants of Biomedical Generative Pretrained Transformers (BioGPT), namely microsoft/biogpt, microsoft/BioGPT-Large, and microsoft/BioGPT-Large-PubMedQA. Additionally, we tune a prompt by incorporating exemplar CC sentences, utilizing the OpenAI API of GPT-4. We evaluate the models' performance based on the perplexity score, modified BERTScore, and cosine similarity score. The results show that BioGPT-Large exhibits superior performance compared to the other models. It consistently achieves a remarkably low perplexity score of 1.65 when generating CC, whereas the baseline LSTM model achieves the best perplexity score of 170. Further, we evaluate and assess the proposed models' performance and the outcome of GPT-4.0. Our study demonstrates that utilizing LLMs such as BioGPT, leads to the development of an effective autocompletion tool for generating CC documentation in healthcare settings. © 2023 IEEE.
