Monitoring plantation diseases is a fundamental issue for the agricultural industry. Early diagnosis of plant illnesses dramatically affects food quantity and quality. Here we focus on the case of Mangoes, whose demand is very high. To maximize earnings, mango plant diseases must be managed well. Manual mango leaf disease diagnosis is impractical in today's computerized world due to its high cost, shortage of mango experts, and variable symptoms. In this work, we provide a novel machine Learning-based mango leaf disease classification method. We build a reliable categorization system using 4000 photographs from the Kaggle dataset grouped into 8 sickness categories. Our model reaches a remarkable accuracy of 96.87% throughout the training phase, and an accuracy rate of 93.12% during the validation phase. Finally, using previously unknown data, our model demonstrates an exceptional testing accuracy rate of 94.99 %. Our solution outperforms other existing machine learning detection methods, thus proving to be very effective in enhancing the categorization of Mango Leaf disease. and, more generally, offering improved and enduring food security and safety in the future.

One of the most important jobs of a self-driving vehicle's visual system is to identify and categorize obstacles along the route. Cars need to be detected, categorized, localized, and linked across frames if they are to be tracked. With the low cost and high utility of visual information, vision-based technologies have gained popularity for this purpose. In this paper, we develop a deep learning-based motion tracking from high-speed video frames. The model is developed using deep convolutional neural network that makes it to be applicable for classification of objects in the video frames. The deep convolutional neural network classifies the obstacles present in the pathway and offers a better classification pattern than the conventional models.

Depression is one of the most common mood disorders and the number of patients increases significantly in recent years. Due to the lack of biomarkers, conversation between patients and psychiatrists is still the main clinical diagnostic method which is easily influenced by subjectivity of both patients and psychiatrists. Synthetic House-tree-person test (S-HTP), a convenient and efficient mental assessment tool, minimizes subjective influences from patients, while its effectiveness is limited by the professional ability of analyst. Here we introduce a deep learning model DeHTP, a flexible and convenient depression detection method based on S-HTP without interaction between people. Experimental results demonstrate that DeHTP achieves 0.963 AUC and 0.9 accuracy, and outperforms the conventional manual analysis of S-HTP, which is conducted on the guideline of 50 conclusions from previous study related to depression. In addition, it reveals 22 depression-correlated drawing features aligned with conclusions above from the perspective of our proposed model. Leveraging the advantages of deep learning and S-HTP, this approach has the potential for widespread promotion and adoption as the available tool for daily self-mental monitoring, as well as the promising auxiliary diagnostic method in clinical. © 2013 IEEE.

The personalized suggestions using the intelligent methods are becoming promising ways to change eating habits to-ward more desirable diets. This has necessitated the requirements of intelligent food recommender system (FRS). This paper has designed a FRS using the Fuzzy Inference system (FIS) to suggest the food preference (FP). This is achieved using the different system blocks such as Rule Base, Database, Decision-making Unit, Fuzzification Interface Unit (FIU), and Defuzzification Interface Unit (DIU). The FP is decided by processing the input variables such as Age, Income and Calorific values. This is achieved with an accuracy of higher than 95%. Efficacy of proposed FRS is established by comparing the performance with the rule based FRS reported in literature. Study is performed using the coding environment of MATLAB.

Accurate traffic flow forecasting is crucial for managing and planning urban transportation systems. Despite the widespread use of sequence modelling models like Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) for this purpose, the potential of Transformer models remains underexplored. This is particularly true for the simplest form of a single block encoder-decoder Transformer model, which can be finely tuned through optimised hyperparameters. This paper examines the performance of a singular horizon-step forecasting method for multi-step traffic flow forecasting using a proposed Single Block Encoder-Decoder Transformer model optimised with a Grid Search algorithm. Results demonstrate that this model can enhance forecasting accuracy compared to the state-of-the-art LSTM model typically used for multi-step forecasting. The model effectively captures long-range temporal dependencies within a single road traffic flow dataset. It was tested on hourly traffic flow data to forecast the next 24 hours for the I5-North freeway in California, sourced from the Caltrans Performance Measurement system. The optimal configuration included an embedding dimension of 32, a feed-forward dimension of 128, and 8 attention heads. Results show a significant improvement, with a 4.7% reduction in Root Mean Squared Error compared to an LSTM model with two hidden layers of 100 neurons each, showcasing the potential of Single Block Encoder-Decoder Transformer models for real-world traffic prediction applications.

Lampung Province is located on the island of Sumatera. For the immigrants in Lampung, they have difficulty in communicating with the indigenous people of Lampung. As an alternative, both immigrants and the indigenous people of Lampung speak Indonesian. This research aims to build a language model from Indonesian language and a translation model from the Lampung language dialect of nyo, both models will be combined in a Moses decoder. This research focuses on observing the effect of adding mono corpus to the experimental statistical machine translation of Indonesian-Lampung dialect of nyo. This research uses 3000 pair parallel corpus in Indonesia language and Lampung language dialect of nyo as source language and uses 3000 mono corpus sentences in Lampung language dialect of nyo as target language. The results showed that the accuracy value in bilingual evalution under-study score when using 1000 sentences, 2000 sentences, 3000 sentences mono corpus show the accuracy value of the bilingual evaluation under-study, respectively, namely 40.97 %, 41.80 % and 45.26 %. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

There are a lot of technologies have been implemented in the modern cars these days, ranging from preventive braking system to driving assistance. It is believe that equipping car with modern technology would enhance safety. However, there are other aspects need to be considered in safety driving, that is human factor. Human factors are believed have high contribution in road accidents. Human factors such as emotional control and distraction may leads to dangerous driving behaviours. This study investigates the driver pose distraction. The distracted driver pose detected through pose detection using landmark feature extraction. The dataset used in this study is State Farm Distracted Driving Detection which is a secondary dataset. The extracted driver pose are in numeric form and used as the input for the classification model to detect ten kinds of driving distraction ranging from safety driving to talking to passenger. Four classifiers used to detect distracted driver are CatBoost, Decision Tress, Random Forest and SVM. The model performance evaluated using Precision, Recall, Accuracy, and F1-score. Furthermore, prediction time recorded to determine the best model to detect driver distraction. The results shows that CatBoost model outperformed all other model with F1-score and prediction time of 0.899 and 0.014 second. Random Forest model performance is the second highest compared to four other with F1-score and prediction time of 0.881 and 0.028 seconds. CatBoost model is the best model even though Cat Boost model execution time is not the highest and the model performance is not significantly different compared to Random Forest.

Many pregnant women still do not want to check their pregnancy to recognize the signs of high-risk pregnant women. High-risk pregnancies refer to abundant women with several risky conditions requiring special care during and after delivery. This study aims to predict pregnancy risk levels with early detection efforts. The method used in this research is the Random Forest method for classification and the Genetic Algorithm for optimization. The results obtained from the Maternal Health Risk dataset analysis using the Random Forest method get an accuracy value of 73.37%. After optimizing the features using a genetic algorithm, the accuracy value in the classification of the health risk level of pregnant women has increased significantly to 90.20%. The results of the t-Test in this study showed a value of less than 0.05, and the t-Test value obtained is 0.000218269. That is, the genetic algorithm has excellent performance to improve the performance of the classification algorithm. Based on the results of the study to get a good accuracy value, it can be used by medical personnel to detect the level of health risk in pregnant women. It can be a reference material for further research to implement this research into a program. © 2022 IEEE.

This study proposed a lightweight and secure audio steganography system for hiding text messages during transmission over the Internet to address the computational cost exaggeration, and Insufficient levels of security in earlier studies. The paper proposes a two-phase functioning mechanism. Text characters are transformed into ASCII code and then stored in a vector, which is then divided into three sub-vectors. The sub-vectors are scrambled using a two low complexity operation, namely a forwardbackward reading technique and an odd-even index. Two scrambling circuits can be performed: the first on tiny sub-vectors and another on the vector as a whole. In the hiding phase, the speech signal samples were divided into 256 blocks using only 200 values per block, and low complexity Quadratic and the Hénon maps to hide the speech signal in a random manner. This method utilizes the conditional LSB as low complexity algorithm to identify hidden bits and a special hyperchaotic map algorithm for randomly choosing locations. The proposed approach provides good security for a scrambled text message with high SNR and PSNR, small MSE error and PESQ, SSIM near one, BER close to zero, and MOS near five as well as the lowest computational hiding cost. © 2023, The Authors. As the complexity and dynamism of financial markets continue to grow, traditional financial risk prediction methods increasingly struggle to handle large datasets and intricate behavior patterns. This paper explores the feasibility and effectiveness of using deep learning and big data algorithms for financial risk behavior prediction. First, the application and advantages of deep learning and big data algorithms in the financial field are analyzed. Then, a deep learning-based big data risk prediction framework is designed and experimentally validated on actual financial datasets. The experimental results show that this method significantly improves the accuracy of financial risk behavior prediction and provides valuable support for risk management in financial institutions. Challenges in the application of deep learning are also discussed, along with potential directions for future research. © 2024, CC BY.
