Technology has increased the interest and demand for pervasive systems which require contextual information to function at optimal capacity. There have been numbers of research in context-aware systems that has limited focused on the semantic-based approach in the crowdsourcing domain. Thus, it promotes challenges in the context and service acquisition and representation for reasoning control mechanism. This paper aims to review semantic-based reasoning framework with a focus on the mobile crowdsourcing domain. Different domains acquire different contextual information, either extrinsic or intrinsic. The review of the frameworks has help to formulate a process framework that applied semantic approach that has the important component for context-aware reasoning process. The framework can be used in the context-aware mobile crowdsourcing domain or can be generalized to other domain to aid reasoning control. Its advantage over other crowdsourcing frameworks which is focuses not only on context and service acquisition but also the representation on the acquired information. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years,progressive developments have been observed in recent technologies and the production cost has been continuously *** such scenario,Internet of Things(IoT)network which is comprised of a set of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAV),has received more attention from civilian tomilitary *** network security poses a serious challenge to UAV networks whereas the intrusion detection system(IDS)is found to be an effective process to secure the UAV *** IDSs are not adequate to handle the latest computer networks that possess maximumbandwidth and data *** order to improve the detection performance and reduce the false alarms generated by IDS,several researchers have employed Machine Learning(ML)and Deep Learning(DL)algorithms to address the intrusion detection *** this view,the current research article presents a deep reinforcement learning technique,optimized by BlackWidow Optimization(DRL-BWO)algorithm,for UAV *** addition,DRL involves an improved reinforcement learning-based Deep Belief Network(DBN)for intrusion *** parameter optimization of DRL technique,BWO algorithm is *** helps in improving the intrusion detection performance of UAV *** extensive set of experimental analysis was performed to highlight the supremacy of the proposed *** the simulation values,it is evident that the proposed method is appropriate as it attained high precision,recall,F-measure,and accuracy values such as 0.985,0.993,0.988,and 0.989 respectively.

This paper introduces AbotalebNet, a novel deep learning architecture optimized for time series forecasting, with a particular focus on the complexities of COVID-19 data. Identifying rename refactoring opportunities based on feature requests

Refactoring is a widespread practice of improving the quality of software systems by applying changes on their internal structures without affecting their observable behaviors. Rename is one of the most recurring and widely used refactoring operation. A rename refactoring is often required when a software entity was poorly named in the beginning or its semantics have changed and therefore should be renamed to reflect its new semantics. However, identifying renaming opportunities is often challenging as it involves several aspects including source code semantics, natural language understanding and developer's experience. To this end, we propose a new approach to identify rename refactoring opportunities by leveraging feature requests. The rationale is that, when implementing a feature request there are chances that the semantics of software entities could significantly change to fulfill the requested feature. Consequently, their names should be modified as well to portray their latest semantics. The approach employs textual similarity to assess the similarity between a feature request description and identifiers. The approach has been validated on the dataset of 15 open source Java applications by comparing the recommended renaming opportunities against those recovered from the refactoring history of the involved subject applications. The evaluation results suggest that, the proposed approach can identify renaming opportunities on up to (Formula presented.) precision and (Formula presented.) recall. © 2021 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

A security authentication protocol based on number theory research unit (NTRU) for industrial control devices is proposed to address the security of data transmission in industrial control systems and the lack of resistance to attacks of security authentication protocols. Most of the original protocols contain complex encryption and decryption operations, which are difficult to run on industrial control devices with simple structures and cannot resist new types of network attacks. In this paper, the protocol takes advantage of the simple operation of NTRU public key encryption system and sets the authorization center to send only the public key of the device in a variant form to achieve the purpose of resisting new attacks such as quantum attacks and internal attacks, and the anti-attack capability is strengthened. © 2023 IEEE.

Intellectual disability (ID), a developmental condition often stemming from prenatal or postnatal factors, exerts a profound influence on individuals’ lives and necessitates timely intervention. Conventional screening methods are resource-intensive and demand specialized medical expertise. This study introduces a novel, non-invasive approach to ID screening by meticulously analyzing facial features and vocal characteristics extracted from interview *** the extraction of facial measurements and speech patterns, we devised a Craniofacial Variability Index (CVI) to assess the likelihood of ID. Furthermore, advanced machine learning techniques were strategically employed to augment the predictive accuracy of this index. Our empirical findings unequivocally demonstrate promising results, with an accuracy rate reaching up to 80% when synergizing CVI scores and phonetic features. This research underscores the potential of a non-invasive, AI-powered screening instrument for ID, offering a more accessible and efficient alternative to prevailing practices. Future investigations will concentrate on refining the model and validating its efficacy across diverse populations.

Heterogeneous Information Networks (HIN) are introduced to efficiently model real-world systems such as social networks, communication networks, biological networks, etc. Extracting context-sensitive dense structures from HINs provides useful insights to address important problems like community detection, link prediction, etc. Barman et al. [TCSS 2019] proposed k-context technique to extract context-sensitive dense structures from a given HIN. In that algorithm, they used the Floyd-Warshall algorithm to find all-pairs shortest paths in the secondary layer of the HIN. This work studies the impact of replacing the Floyd-Warshall algorithm with a 2-approximate all-pairs shortest-paths algorithm in the k-context technique to extract context-sensitive dense structures from a given HIN. This method improves the theoretical running time of the k-context technique.

Social networking sites have come into demand as a way of sharing ideas and opinions with other people. But unfortunately, people tend to misuse social media to write nasty comments. Victims' lives might be negatively impacted by behaviours that are abusive and humiliating. Social networks give people a great tool to share information on ideas on multiple topics and opinions. However, these platforms are often abused to announce toxic and offensive comments, which eventually negatively affect victims and demographics. This study offers a thorough method for identifying hate speech (HS) on social media by utilising cutting-edge ML algorithms. A publicly available Twitter dataset containing 159,571 tweets classified into six categories, including toxic and identity hatred, was utilised. The methodology comprises data collection, conditioning, and categorisation that employs BiLSTM, which is particularly appropriate for the tasks demanding contextual sensitivity. These operations include symbol removing, stemming and stop-word eliminating, feature extraction using TF-IDF, and using the Bag-of-Words model. For classification of the data between hate and non-hate, the dataset is then split into training and testing datasets and the BiLSTM model used to provide classifications for the text. The evaluation of the BiLSTM model demonstrates superior performance, achieving an accuracy86%, a precision90%, a recall86%, and an F1-score88% • A comparison between the model and other models such as SVM and CNN reveals the strength of the BiLSTM in contextual classification tasks. The results demonstrate that BiLSTM can tackle problems with hate speech detection, providing a strong answer to the problem of harmful content on social media and helping to make the internet a better place for everyone. © 2025 IEEE.
