Managing a work-life balance has always been challenging, especially after the recent trend of working from home, which has made maintaining one's fitness and diet regime strenuous. Failing to adhere to a fitness and diet plan has been shown to cause long-term effects on a person's health including obesity and shortened lifespans. Currently, people plan their fitness and diet plans around their schedule, but these tasks are challenging to maintain. Users tend to give up these plans due to a lack of time and planning. To help with better planning for a fitness and diet regime, we propose, CHARLIE, a chatbot that works around a user's schedule to intelligently recommend diets and fitness goals based on their calendar. CHARLIE is a recommendation system that suggests the users' a certain meal and fitness activities based on the amount of time they have left in their day and the number of calories they lose. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to solve the problems of intelligent fault diagnosis of spacecraft, this paper builds a diagnostic model based on Dynamic Uncertain Causality Graph (DUCG). This model solves the issues with data-driven and model-based methods, such as poor interpretability, high data dependence, and low diagnostic correctness. The DUCG methodology relies on the expertise of the domain experts to demonstrate uncertainties between the spacecraft telemetry parameters and possible faults in a graphic way. Notably, DUCG exhibits high diagnostic accuracy and interpretability, even in the absence of existing fault data. The diagnostic model developed utilizing the DUCG contains a total of 29 faults and 110 telemetry parameters. Empirical findings indicate that the model achieves a remarkable accuracy rate of 100%. The research results in this paper are of great significance for the development and promotion of spacecraft fault diagnosis technology. © 2023 IEEE.

Model-based testing is a substantial approach that is based on and involving models. It is well known for achieving test coverage and for generating and executing test cases automatically. The main and core activity of model-based testing is the modelling activity. Models are used to explain and represent the behaviour of the product. The requirement will be translated into models and those models will be used in generating the test cases automatically in model-based testing. The modelling activity clarifies test requirement and contribute to automatic generation and execution of large test suites with tool support. Model-based testing provides numerous advantages in testing;mainly on achieving appropriate test coverage and reduce manual effort and time spent since it can execute the test cases automatically. Despite all the benefit it can provide, there are some drawbacks too. However, the challenges faced can overcome by implementing proper test modelling activity and by adopting a well-versed test management activity. Thus, in this paper, we have studied the existing testing process, the taxonomy of model-based testing and model-based testing steps and proposed an extensive lifecycle for model-based testing with detail activities and steps to be carried out in order to test and validate access control requirement for multi-tenant application. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) used for charging of electric vehicles (EVs), suffers from the problem of misalignment. In this paper metaheuristic optimizing techniques are used to increase the misalignment tolerance of the receiver coil. This is done by optimizing the length of each turn of the transmitter coil such that a uniform magnetic field density is produced over the charging area, which is kept 26% higher than the transmitting coil area which further aids to accommodate misalignment of the receiver coil. Differential Evolution (DE), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) optimization algorithms are used to obtain the lengths of all the turns of the transmitter coil. These algorithms are also compared by varying the number of turns while keeping the number of iterations to a fixed value. © 2023 IEEE.

Cricket is the game that binds Bangladeshis to-gether. The datasets were split into different parts based on the time of the cricket matches to experiment with the results. We have used Random Forest Regression and Linear Regression to experiment with the results. We have worked on different sets of independent variables while working with different datasets but runs and wickets were constant features. The linear Regression technique gave 0.58 of r-squared metric and its MAE: 32.857046003557706, MSE: 1793.4360657965133, RMSE: 42.34897951304746 values indicate that the regression model is making predictions that are reasonably close to the actual ob-served values. However, there is still some room for improvement. The r-squared metric of 0.787 was derived from a relatively brief dataset, MAE: 20.48880467759807, MSE: 690.1167559064677, RMSE: 26.270073389818837 metrics indicate that the regression model is making predictions that are very close to the actual observed values. Random Forest Regression's r-squared metric resulted in 0.807 but the learning curve pointed out an overfit model. Thus, linear regression contained the best result. We have applied the regularisation technique to achieve a better result. The dataset was collected from Github and Kaggle, sizes are (350899, 15) and (4037, 9) respectively.

Visually impaired people encounter several challenges in their mobility and navigation. Their daily activities are obstructed due to their inability to adapt or recognize accurately their surroundings, especially outside their house which they are more familiar with. Thus, it becomes the main reason of accidents, falling off, getting lost in unknown areas, etc. Furthermore, one of the sensory systems that helps the body to process data about the external environment is the visual system. Blind people also lose touch with the outside world, develops poor motor habits, which results in postural problems as a result. This project will assist visually impaired people in their daily life and simplify normal tasks through a system combining two previously designed projects, 'Smart Shoes for Blind and Visually Impaired People', and 'Human posture monitoring device'. The multifunctional system is developed with the goal of securing safe movements for visually impaired people as well as maintaining a good back posture by detecting leaning postures (LP). The purpose of the smart shoe is to identify obstacles and protect the user from unintended accidents. A compatible Android application has been developed to alert the user when there is an obstruction or when he is walking on a wet surface. Voice alarms will be used to acoustically alert the user. If the user collapses, a message with their position will be sent right away to a relative. On the other hand, the smart vest will identify the position of the user's back and alert him to maintain a straight posture through the same application as well. As the system is dealing with human health, some safety measurements would be taken into consideration to implement a safe electrical system in order to reduce error and to increase accuracy. © 2023 IEEE.

Large losses in output, money, and quality/quantity of agricultural goods are incurred due to plant diseases. Seventy percent of India's GDP is tied to the agricultural sector, thus protecting plants from diseases is crucial. For this reason, it is important to keep an eye on plants from the moment they sprout. The usual approach for this omission is naked eye inspection, which is more time-consuming, costly, and requires significant skill. Thus, automating the method for detecting diseases is necessary to speed up this process. It is imperative that image processing methods be used in the creation of the illness detection system. Disease detection involves a number of processes, including Weighted Mask R-CNN, GLCM feature extraction, Multi-thresholding image pre-processing, and K means image segmentation classification. The weighted Mask R-CNN outperforms the standard RNN, the Mask R-CNN, and the CNN in terms of accuracy and recall in analytical trials by a significant margin. © 2023 IEEE.
