Metallised polypropylene film capacitors(MPPFCs)are widely used in power electronics and are generally degraded by elevated *** work aims to determine the relationships between the structural changes of MPPFC and the microstructural variations of the PP film during the thermal ageing of MPPFC at 100℃ for 38 *** capacitance of MPPFC has a slight decrease during thermal ***,the breakdown voltage of the MPPFC decreases by 39.4%by the *** partial discharge(PD)number of MPPFC increases linearly with ageing *** tear-down analysis of the MPPFC reveals that the molecular structure of the PP film has not been altered but has led to molecular chain scission and the generation of some polar fragments/***,the relative permittivity of the PP films rises as the ageing time ***,thermal ageing causes the conversion of aluminum to alumina in the metallised electrode,which is hydrophilic for polar groups and leads to an adhesion effect between the metallised electrodes and the PP *** angle measurements prove that the surface hydrophilicity of the PP sample increased after thermal ***,the PD/breakdown voltage in the MPPFC increases/decreases due to the uneven adhesion of the metallised PP film.

History of code elements is essential for software maintenance tasks. However, code refactoring is one of the main causes that makes obtaining a consistent view on code evolution difficult as renaming or moving source code elements break such history. To this end, this paper presents RAT, a refactoring-aware tool for keeping track of code elements evolution across time, not just in terms of revisions but also in terms of refactoring. This is the first tool that enables fine-grained code element traceability of the whole repository. Empirical evaluation of leveraging our tool in three bug localization techniques relying on code history shows significant improvement in localization accuracy. Based on our findings, we believe that many of the state-of-the-art approaches using past source code data would benefit from our tool. Demo Tool: https://***/feifeiniu-se/RAT-Demo. Hadoop is currently the most popular big data processing architecture, which provides a processing framework for managing and analyzing massive data. Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) is the core component for storing data in the Hadoop systems. It performs well when storing and managing large-sized files. However, it shows extremely bad performance when dealing with a large number of small files, which is reflected in the consumption of a large amount of memory space of the NameNode node and the low efficiency of accessing small files. Archive file is proposed to solve this problem. It combines small files into larger merged files for storage, and uses index files to record the relevant information of small files in the merged files. However, archive files (e.g., Hadoop Archive, MapFile) all require additional processing and multiple I/O operations to obtain index information before actually accessing the file content, which reduces the efficiency of file access. This paper proposes a novel distributed file storing mechanism called B+ Tree-Based Distributed File Storing mechanism (BTDFS), which combines a large number of small files into a merged file, records the index information of the small files in the merged file, and organizes the index information into a B+ tree for storage. Using BTDFS, while reducing the metadata consumption of the NameNode node, improves the access performance of a single small file with additional abilities, which provides convenience for analyzing a large number of small files. Finally, this paper designs corresponding experiments for the proposed BTDFS, and tests and analyzes the memory usage in N ameN ode and the access performance of small files. The experimental results show that the proposed BTDFS can effectively reduce the memory usage of the NameNode, and the efficiency of accessing small files is improved compared with state-of-the-art methods. © 2022 IEEE.

Air-side economizers are increasingly used to take advantage of“free-cooling”in data centers with the intent of reducing the carbon footprint of ***,they can introduce outdoor pollutants to indoor environment of data centers and cause corrosion damage to the information technology *** evaluate the reliability of information technology equipment under various thermal and air-pollution conditions,a mechanistic model based on multi-ion transport and chemical reactions was *** model was used to predict Cu corrosion caused by Cl_(2)-containing pollutant *** also accounted for the effects of temperature(25℃and 28℃),relative humidity(50%,75%,and 95%),and *** also identified higher air temperature as a corrosion barrier and higher relative humidity as a corrosion accelerator,which agreed well with the experimental *** average root mean square error of the prediction was 13.7Å.The model can be used to evaluate the thermal guideline for data centers design and operation when Cl_(2)is present based on pre-established acceptable risk of corrosion in data centers’environment.

Learning to see speckle in the weak laser field through multimode fiber

Multimode fibers (MMFs) have great potential for endoscopic imaging due to the high number of modes and a small core diameter. Deep learning based on neural networks has received increasing attention in the field of scattering image reconstruction. However， most studies focus on designing complex network architectures to improve reconstruction， but these network models struggle to reconstruct images in a weak laser field. In the paper， a lightweight generative adversarial network model combined with a histogram specification algorithm is designed to reconstruct speckles in the weak laser field through MMF. Experimental results show that the reconstruction results of our algorithm have better metrics. Moreover， the model demonstrates excellent cross-domain generalization ability with regards to the Fashion-MNIST dataset. It is worth mentioning that we found that the speckles after inactivation still retain the ability to be reconstructed， which enhances the robustness of the model

With the rapid development and evolution of information technologies, the big data industry has been experiencing exponential explosive data growth. Since the huge business and research value behind the large-scale data, big data technology has become one of the hotest research fields in academia and industry. To the big data, storing and processing the data is core function of the file systems. Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) is the most typical distributed big data architecture, which has the characteristics of high reliability, high fault tolerance, and low hardware cost. HDFS provides the efficient task implementation and fault tolerance among nodes by Remote Procedure Call (RPC) mechanism. However, the traditional RPC mechanism has remarkable defects with the fixed timing method, and cannot quickly establish the relationship between node downtime and network congestion. In this paper, we propose an improved adaptive RPC mechanism for node fault tolerance and performance. The proposed method classifies nodes by the data block access statistic, and dynamically adjusts the RPC interval time. This method can be used to reduce the networking traffic and processing pressure of NameNode nodes, and improve the I/O and task performance. Through the node classification, an inrack method is used to achieve better performance on fault tolerance. Eventually, we design the extensive experiments to evaluate the proposed method, and experimental results show it improves the performance compared with state-of-the-art method. © 2022 IEEE.

Instant delivery has become a fundamental service in people's daily lives. Different from the traditional express service, the instant delivery has a strict shipping time constraint after being ordered. However, the labor shortage makes it challenging to realize efficient instant delivery. To tackle the problem, researchers have studied to introduce vehicles (i.e., taxis) or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs or drones) into instant delivery tasks. Unfortunately, the delivery detour of taxis and the limited battery of UAVs make it hard to meet the rapidly increasing instant delivery demands. Under this circumstance, this paper proposes an air-ground cooperative instant delivery paradigm to maximize the delivery performance and meanwhile minimize the negative effects on the taxi passengers. Specifically, a data-driven delivery potential-demands-aware cooperative strategy is designed to improve the overall delivery performance of both UAVs and taxis as well as the taxi passengers' experience. The experimental results show that the proposed method improves the delivery number by 30.1% and 114.5% compared to the taxi-based and UAV-based instant delivery respectively, and shortens the delivery time by 35.7% compared to the taxi-based instant delivery. © 2024 IEEE.

The work reported in this article addresses the challenge of building models for non-trivial aerobatic aircraft maneuvers in an automated fashion. It is built using a Behavioural Cloning approach where human pilots provide a set of example maneuvers used by a Machine Learning algorithm to induce a control model for each maneuver. The best examples for each maneuver were selected using a set of objective evaluation metrics. Using those example sets, robust models were induced that could replicate (and in some cases outperform) the human pilots that provided the examples (the clean-up effect). Complete complex maneuvers were performed using a meta-controller capable of sequencing the basic ones learned by imitation. This endeavor was rewarded by the results that show several Machine Learning models capable of performing highly complex aircraft maneuvers. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Runtime verification (RV) is an effective lightweight formal method for improving software’s reliability at runtime. There exist no RV tools specially designed for C++ programs. This paper introduces the first one, i.e., CCMOP, which implements an AOP-based RV approach and supports the RV of general properties for C/C++ program. CCMOP provides an AOP language specially designed for C++ program to define the events in RV. The instrumentation of RV monitor is done at AST-level, which improves the efficiency of compilation and the accuracy of RV. CCMOP is implemented based on JavaMOP and an industrial-strength compiler. The results of extensive experiments on 100 real-world C/C++ programs (5584.3K LOCs in total) indicate that CCMOP is robust and supports the RV of real-world C/C++ programs. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Text entry is an important task in virtual reality (VR), and most existing methods require hand involvement, while hands-free typing has great potential for applications in mobile scenarios. Existing hands-free text entry methods are usually implemented by combining the head and eyes with techniques such as Dwell, Blink and Gesture, which can easily fatigue the user. In this paper, we propose LipText, a lip-tracking-based text entry method in VR. We use a neural network to perform letter-level prediction on the lip data captured by the facial tracker and use head-based selection as an auxiliary to improve the accuracy. We conduct a user study to evaluate our method, the results show a typing speed of 8.63 WPM for the novice group, 9.81 WPM for the potential expert group, and the highest recorded typing speed is 11.13 WPM achieved by a potential expert. Our method is also novice-friendly, and their typing speed increased by 64.38% over a six-day practice. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.
