This paper presents Artisan, an automated operational amplifier design framework using large language models (LLMs). We develop a bidirectional representation to align abstract circuit topologies with their structural and functional semantics. We further employ Tree-of-Thoughts and Chain-of-Thoughts approaches to model the design process as a hierarchical question-answer sequence, implemented by a mechanism of multi-agent interaction. A high-quality opamp dataset is developed to enhance the design proficiency of the Artisan-LLM. Experimental results demonstrate that Artisan outperforms state-of-the-art optimization-based methods and benchmark LLMs, in success rate, circuit performance metrics, and interpretability, while accelerating the design process by up to 50.1X. Recent advances in physiological human motor control research indicate that human endpoint stiffness magnitude increases linearly with grasp force. Based on these findings, a scheme was proposed in this paper to integrate the linear quadratic estimation (LQE) filter with the stiffness model inferred from grasp force, which can simultaneously estimate the human arm's stiffness and motion intention. Then, an online variable impedance controller (VIC) was designed based on previous estimations for physical human-robot interaction (pHRI). The proposed stiffness model and estimation method were validated through experiments using a planar robotic interface. In order to assess its performance in practical pHRI tasks, the implementation of human arm stiffness and intention estimation combining with VIC was extended to a teleoperation peg-in-hole and robot-assisted rehabilitation tasks. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can effectively estimate human motion intention and arm stiffness simultaneously. Compared to existing methods, the proposed VIC enhances pHRI in terms of increased flexibility, effective guidance, and reduced human effort. © 2016 IEEE.

The agent-based financial market simulators serve as an important validation tool for trading strategies. For high-fidelity simulation, it is pivotal to calibrate the parameters of a simulator so that the generated simulation data resembles the observed real market data of interest. In traditional calibration methods, it is typical that the parameters of the simulator are set to be time-invariant. However, the dynamic nature of the real financial market introduces various variability into the behaviors of the market participants over different time intervals, posing in-herent limitations to the traditional methods. A more reasonable approach might involve employing a simulator with time-variant parameters. This suggests that the model parameters can be dynamically adjusted at different stages of the simulation to adapt to the evolving market. Consequently, the calibration problem of the financial market simulators can be treated as a dynamic optimization problem. To dynamically calibrate the simulators, we introduce an Evolutionary Dynamic Optimization (EDO) framework. By monitoring the changes of the best fitness, the whole simulation time interval is adaptively divided into multiple stages. Then the Negatively Correlated Search (NCS) algorithm is employed to effectively adjust the parameters at different simulation stages to better simulate the real financial market. Empirical results on both synthetic and real data verify that our dynamic calibration framework significantly outperforms traditional calibration methods that fixing a parameter for the whole simulation interval. The proposed strategy of detecting dynamic changes is also shown to be more reliable than the naive method of manually segmenting stages. In terms of calibration time, our proposed method significantly improves by nearly 93% compared to the fixed parameter setting, and approximately 61% compared to manual segmentation calibration. © 2024 IEEE.

With the development of artificial intelligence,the genetic algorithm has been widely used in many *** cryptography,the authors find it is natural to code an individual and design its fitness in a genetic algorithm for a straightforward guess and determine analysis(SGDA,in short).Based on this observation,the authors propose an SGDA based on genetic *** it with the other three SGDAs based on exhaustive search,MILP method and CPP method respectively,the authors illustrate its effectiveness by three stream ciphers:Small scale SNOW 2.0,medium scale Enocoro-128v2 and large scale *** results show our method is significantly superior to them,especially for Trivium,the method can find a solution of 165 variables in less than one hour,while the other three methods are not applicable due to its enormous search space of size 2^(619.37).As far as we know,it is a best solution in an SGDA for Trivium so far.

This paper is concerned with a Nash equilibrium(NE)tracking issue in online games with bandit feedback,where cost functions vary with time and agents only have access to the values of these functions at two points during each round.A partial-decision information setting is considered,in which agents have only access to the decisions of their *** primary objective of this paper is to develop a distributed online NE tracking algorithm that ensures sublinear growth of regret with respect to the total round T,under both the bandit feedback and partial-decision information *** utilizing a two-point estimator together with the leader-following consensus method,a new distributed online NE tracking algorithm is established with the estimated gradient and local estimated decisions based on the projection gradient-descent ***,sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee an improved upper bound of dynamic regret compared to existing bandit ***,a simulation example is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

In a global context marked by climate change and by peak globalization materializing through highly interconnected and interdependent chains of value. Our subject is naturally aligned in a global dynamic characterized by existential issues and public-level challenges. This motivates us to contribute in this global reflection by proposing concrete and viable responses and measures to safeguard our planet and to perpetuate our heritage for future generations. It is our duty and collective responsibility. Indeed, the balance between environmental, economic and social impacts has become the optimum objective in all contemporary strategies, policies, actions and decisions. This balance is critical in logistics and transport field because it is one of the largest emitters of greenhouse gases directly causing the acceleration of global warming. And also because it's one of the most crucial and sensitive sectors for mankind due to the fact that our survival and comfort depend on it! Our aim is to build a decision aid tool in order to optimally choose a route (also called path) in a multimodal transport network of goods and/or passengers. The system should be as efficient as possible: with a path that causes the least damage and aggression to the environment while being economically and socially beneficial to man. For a multimodal transport network, a mathematical model is established in order to calculate the ecological and socio-economic criteria to be considered‥. Then a multi-objective optimization algorithm is built to find the shortest path by optimizing the defined criteria: An ant colony algorithm is chosen because it is the most optimal and efficient in a complex scenario that takes into account a large number of variable parameters and criteria. Naturally, an implementation on a multimodal transport network is carried out in order to assess the algorithm's performances. This study aims to classify brainwave patterns using electroencephalogram (EEG) signals in response to various auditory stimuli, specifically Quran recitation, participants' favorite music, and Interstellar's main theme. By analyzing the unique EEG responses elicited by these stimuli, the study explores cognitive and emotional processing differences. Two prominent classifiers, Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), were utilized. SVM, combined with Power Spectral Density (PSD) features, achieved the highest accuracy of 95% when distinguishing Quran recitation from rest. CNN, particularly with Kernel Density Estimation (KDE) features, exhibited strong performance in distinguishing between different auditory stimuli, with an average accuracy exceeding 90%. These results highlight the critical role of feature extraction techniques, such as PSD and KDE, in improving classification performance and deepening our understanding of EEG-based emotional and cognitive responses to auditory stimuli. © 2024 IEEE.
