Integrated circuits(ICs) and optoelectronic chips are the foundation stones of the modern information society. The IC industry has been driven by the so-called "Moore's law" in the past 60 years, and now has entered the post Moore's law era. In this paper, we review the recent progress of ICs and optoelectronic chips. The research status, technical challenges and development trend of devices, chips and integrated technologies of typical IC and optoelectronic chips are focused on. The main contents include the development law of IC and optoelectronic chip technology, the IC design and processing technology, emerging memory and chip architecture, brain-like chip structure and its mechanism, heterogeneous integration, quantum chip technology, silicon photonics chip technology, integrated microwave photonic chip, and optoelectronic hybrid integrated chip.

GeoReF: Geometric Alignment Across Shape Variation for Category-level Object Pose Refinement

Object pose refinement is essential for robust object pose estimation. Previous work has made significant progress towards instance-level object pose refinement. Yet, category-level pose refinement is a more challenging problem due to large shape variations within a category and the discrepancies between the target object and the shape prior. To address these challenges, we introduce a novel architecture for category-level object pose refinement. Our approach integrates an HS-layer and learnable affine transformations, which aims to enhance the extraction and alignment of geometric information. Additionally, we introduce a cross-cloud transformation mechanism that efficiently merges diverse data sources. Finally, we push the limits of our model by incorporating the shape prior information for translation and size error prediction. We conducted extensive experiments to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed framework. Through extensive quantitative experiments, we demonstrate significant improvement over the baseline method by a large margin across all metrics. © 2024, CC BY-NC-SA.

We present OpenVNA, an open-source framework designed for analyzing the behavior of multimodal language understanding systems under noisy conditions. OpenVNA serves as an intuitive toolkit tailored for researchers, facilitating convenience batch-level robustness evaluation and on-the-fly instance-level demonstration. It primarily features a benchmark Python library for assessing global model robustness, offering high flexibility and extensibility, thereby enabling customization with user-defined noise types and models. Additionally, a GUI-based interface has been developed to intuitively analyze local model behavior. In this paper, we delineate the design principles and utilization of the created library and GUI-based web platform. Sensing-assisted communication is critical to enhance the system efficiency in integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) systems. However, most existing literature focuses on large-scale channel sensing, without considering the impacts of small-scale channel aging. In this paper, we investigate a dual-scale channel estimation framework for sensing-assisted communication, where both large-scale channel sensing and small-scale channel aging are considered. By modeling the channel aging effect with block fading and incorporating CRB (Cramér-Rao bound)-based sensing errors, we optimize both the time duration of large-scale detection and the frequency of small-scale update within each subframe to maximize the achievable rate while satisfying sensing requirements. Since the formulated optimization problem is non-convex, we propose a two-dimensional search-based optimization algorithm to obtain the optimal solution. Simulation results demonstrate the superiority of our proposed optimal design over three counterparts. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The construction of cybersecurity knowledge graphs improves the full-dimensional cognitive ability of cyber threats. However, most of the current research on the cybersecurity knowledge graphs focuses on the one-hop or multi-hop correlation queries of knowledge, while ignoring the hidden patterns in the knowledge graphs. Based on the knowledge graph stated in this paper[1], we propose a method for discovering hidden patterns of cybersecurity knowledge based on hierarchical clustering, using the hacker group features of security technologies in the knowledge graph, calculating the distance between the security technology knowledge in the knowledge graph based on the Phicoefficient, and mining cybersecurity technologies that are often used by hacker groups by employing the ward linkage method of hierarchical clustering. The experimental results show that three similar cybersecurity technologies, namely Peripheral Device Discovery, Data from Removable Media and Junk Data, all of which are aimed at stealing or attacking the externally-connected devices of computers, are used by most hacker groups. © 2021 IEEE.

The emergence of Segment Routing(SR)provides a novel routing paradigm that uses a routing technique called source packet *** SR architecture,the paths that the packets choose to route on are indicated at the ingress *** with shortest-path-based routing in traditional distributed routing protocols,SR can realize a flexible routing by implementing an arbitrary flow splitting at the ingress *** the advantages of SR,it may be difficult to update the existing IP network to a full SR deployed network,for economical and technical *** partial of the traditional IP network to the SR network,thus forming a hybrid SR network,is a preferable *** the traffic is dynamically changing in a daily time,in this paper,we propose a Weight Adjustment algorithm WASAR to optimize routing in a dynamic hybrid SR *** algorithm can be divided into three steps:firstly,representative Traffic Matrices(TMs)and the expected TM are obtained from the historical TMs through ultrascalable spectral clustering ***,given the network topology,the initial network weight setting and the expected TM,we can realize the link weight optimization and SR node deployment optimization through a Deep Reinforcement Learning(DRL)***,we optimize the flow splitting ratios of SR nodes in a centralized online manner under dynamic traffic demands,in order to improve the network *** the evaluation,we exploit historical TMs to test the performance of the obtained routing configuration in *** extensive experimental results validate that our proposed WASAR algorithm has superior performance in reducing Maximum Link Utilization(MLU)under the dynamic traffic.

Continual Test-Time Adaptation for Single Image Defocus Deblurring via Causal Siamese Networks

Single image defocus deblurring (SIDD) aims to restore an all-in-focus image from a defocused one. Distribution shifts in defocused images generally lead to performance degradation of existing methods during out-of-distribution inferences. In this work, we gauge the intrinsic reason behind the performance degradation, which is identified as the heterogeneity of lens-specific point spread functions. Empirical evidence supports this finding, motivating us to employ a continual test-time adaptation (CTTA) paradigm for SIDD. However, traditional CTTA methods, which primarily rely on entropy minimization, cannot sufficiently explore task-dependent information for pixel-level regression tasks like SIDD. To address this issue, we propose a novel Siamese networks-based continual test-time adaptation framework, which adapts source models to continuously changing target domains only requiring unlabeled target data in an online manner. To further mitigate semantically erroneous textures introduced by source SIDD models under severe degradation, we revisit the learning paradigm through a structural causal model and propose Causal Siamese networks (CauSiam). Our method leverages large-scale pre-trained vision-language models to derive discriminative universal semantic priors and integrates these priors into Siamese networks, ensuring causal identifiability between blurry inputs and restored images. Extensive experiments demonstrate that CauSiam effectively improves the generalization performance of existing SIDD methods in continuously changing domains. Copyright © 2025, The Authors. This paper investigates the covert communication in a satellite-terrestrial system, including a satellite transmitter Alice, a terrestrial full-duplex receiver Bob and a terrestrial warden Willie. To help the covert transmission from Alice, the full-duplex Bob transmits the jamming signal to confuse Willie and also receives the signal from Alice simultaneously. To explore the fundamental covertness in such a system, we first provide theoretical modelings for satellite-terrestrial downlink, and the detection error probability of Willie. Based on these models, we then study the transmit power optimization for covert rate maximization. Finally, we present extensive numerical results to validate our theoretical analysis and to illustrate the impact of various system parameters on the maximum covert rate.

Many natural and engineering systems can be modeled and represented in the forms of graph data, and then studied using graph theory and network analysis tools. Graph representation learning aims at generating lower-dimensional representations from higher-dimensional graph data, which is a crucial step that facilitates the follow-up tasks, such as node and graph classifications. In this paper, we present a simple but effective graph representation learning method, namely the pyramid pooling-based local profile (PPLP), which enables local nodal profiles to be transformed into a graph representation, with multi-scale features extracted. PPLP can be either embedded into a graph neural network as the readout layer, or perform independently as a graph embedding algorithm. The resultant representations of PPLP are for graph-level tasks. PPLP is experimentally tested by performing graph classification tasks on ten representative datasets, either as the readout layer of different graph neural networks, or as an independent graph embedding algorithm. Experimental results demonstrate that: 1) when embedded into graph neural networks, PPLP outperforms the widely-used global pooling-based readout methods; 2) as an independent graph embedding algorithm, PPLP performs fairly good, especially on the social network datasets. The investigation confirms PPLP as a simple but promising method for graph-level tasks.
