QoTa-MPR: QoS-oriented and Traffic-aware Multi-path Routing Protocol for Internet of Remote Things

Internet of Remote Things (IoRT) is widely used in both military and civilian applications. However, due to the unique characteristics, which is characterized as long-distance and high-latency, the design of the routing protocol is a great challenge of IoRT. In this paper, a QoS-oriented and traffic-aware multi-path routing protocol (QoTa-MRP) is proposed for IoRT. QoTa-MRP is composed of two parts. The first part is the link traffic-aware based muti-paths source route discovery mechanism, which is used to establish multi-paths with lower link disjoint degree. The second part is path similarity and traffic priority based multi-path selection mechanism, which is used to determine the transmission mode of the traffic flows to enhance the reliability or effectiveness of the transmission. Simultaneously, the protocol is theoretically analyzed in terms of the successful transmission rate of routing transmission data packet. Finally, the dynamic source routing, which is a very representative protocol and is usually used as the baseline comparison protocol, is revisited for the performance verification of the QoTa-MRP in IoRT. It is shown in the simulation results that there are significant superiorities of QoTa-MRP than that of DSR in terms of network throughput, packet loss rate and routing packet header overhead in IoRT. © 2021, CC BY.

In healthcare wireless sensor networks, there are a large number of sensors, which need to transmit a lot of information in real time. The aggregate signature scheme combines a great deal of signatures signed by different signers on different messages into one short signature, which greatly improves the efficiency of data transmission. In this paper, we present a scheme of certificate based aggregate signature, and prove its security in the random oracle model. The performance analysis shows that the scheme is efficient in sign and verify phase, and suitable for healthcare wireless sensor networks. © 2021, Taiwan Ubiquitous Information. The effectiveness of license plate location greatly affects the accuracy of license plate recognition technology. In view of the particularity of Chinese license plates, this paper applies the SSD algorithm to license plate location, and introduces the method of deconvolution fusion to optimize the SSD algorithm. Through the deep learning network training on the test data set, our method is proved to be the most efficient and most accurate model. Then we experimented again in our own dataset via the embedded vehicle system. The results verified that our method improves the accuracy of detecting small target license plates in complex environments such as dark, tilt, and multiple license plates, and has better accuracy, versatility and adaptability of license plate location. © 2020, Taiwan Ubiquitous Information. Spectroscopic study on the mechanism of meloxicam and α-amylase

In order to explore the mechanism of action of meloxicam and α-amylase. The interaction between the rheumatoid arthritis drug meloxicam and α-amylase was studied by fluorescence spectroscopy, synchronous fluorescence spectroscopy and molecular docking under the experimental conditions of pH=6.80. The results showed that meloxicam was able to effectively quench the endogenous fluorescence of α-amylase in a static quenching form a 1:1 complex and change the conformation of α-amylase. Thermodynamic results indicated that the main type of meloxicam and α-amylase system was hydrophobic interaction. Molecular docking indicated that the binding system had hydrogen bonds in addition to hydrophobic interaction and meloxicam was surrounded by the active amino acid residues Trp13 and Trp263 of α-amylase, which changed the microenvironment of amino acid residues at the active center of α-amylase. By establishing the binding model, it can be seen that the protein binding rate W(B) of meloxicam to -amylase was 2.76%-41.79% under the experimental conditions. The results showed that the binding of meloxicam to α-amylase had an effect on the number of free -amylase. The drug binding rate W(Q) of the system was 2.76%-1.67%, which indicated that the combination of α-amylase and meloxicam would not affect the efficacy of meloxicam.

Spectroscopic and molecular docking studies on the binding mechanism of Mobic and lipase

Under simulated physiological conditions (pH=7.40), the interaction between non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug Mobic and lipase was studied by fluorescence spectra, ultraviolet absorption spectra, circular dichroism spectra and computer simulation technique. The experimental results showed that Mobic could quench the fluorescence of lipase by static quenching, and the binding site number is about 1. According to F¨orster’s theory of non-radiation energy transfer, the binding distance between Mobic and lipase was obtained, r<7 nm, which indicated that there was non-radiation energy transfer in the system. The thermodynamic parameters were obtained from van’t Hoff equation, Gibbs free energy -G<0, indicating that the reaction between them was spontaneous,-H<0,-S>0, indicating that hydrophobic force played a major role in the formation of Mobic and lipase complex. The results of synchronous fluorescence spectra, UV spectra and circular dichroism spectra showed that Mobic changed the conformation of lipase. The molecular docking results showed that the binding position of Mobic was close to the active center, indicating that Mobic could change the microenvironment of amino acid residues at the active center of lipase catalysis. The results of docking showed that there was hydrogen bond between Mobic and lipase, so the interaction between Mobic and lipase was driven by hydrophobic interaction and hydrogen bond.

It is manifested by investigations that CETDC based on cooperative education can supply an effective platform for students to improve their innovative and practical outcomes.

In order to solve the integrity verification of outsourced file in cloud, we based on the concept of regenerating code (RC) to propose a new public auditing scheme with data recovery in this paper. With the advantage of RC, our scheme provides a (k,n) recovery functionality, i.e., only encoded data blocks from any k cloud servers, user can recover the original data files, where n denotes the total number of cloud servers and k ≤ n. © 2019, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

With the rapid development of Cloud Computing, how to improve users search experience over encrypted data just like plaintext search has become a challenging task. In this paper, we propose a hierarchical semantic approximate multi-keyword ranked search (HSAMS) scheme over encrypted data.
