Virtual reality has become a new option to inform the customers about product before purchasing. However, providing virtual reality may create new challenges. For instance, consumers may obtain essential information about products by using virtual reality option, but eventually they buy their products from the offline channel. This phenomenon is called webrooming. Another challenge is cyber-attacks. E-tailers and their consumers face risks from cyber-attacks. Thus, e-tailers are investing to improve cybersecurity. We consider a dual-channel supply chain consisting of an offline retailer and an e-tailer who purchase the same product from a manufacturer at the same wholesale price. The e-tailer offers a partial refund policy in order to attract the customers. Also, to reduce consumer valuation uncertainty, the e-tailer faces the decision on whether to introduce virtual reality. We analyze three scenarios. Firstly, the e-tailer does not offer virtual reality. Secondly, the e-tailer offers virtual reality, but he does not invest on cybersecurity. The foreign currency exchange rate against the rupiah in the Odoo ERP framework system accommodates multi-currencies. However, Odoo has not updated the rupiah exchange rate based on the value from Bank Indonesia regularly. The exchange rate is the price at which one country's currency can be exchanged for another country's currency. The rupiah exchange rate in business has an influence on the cost revenue as well as the profit of the Indonesian company. The problem is updating the rupiah exchange rate must be done manually by looking at the exchange rate on the Bank Indonesia website and entering it into the ERP system according to the current date. The Rupiah exchange rate in foreign currencies needs to be updated regularly by Bank Indonesia exchange rates. To collect rupiah exchange rate uses the Odoo Framework ERP system using the web scraping methods to extract data from Bank Indonesia exchange rates, the library used in scraping is Beautiful Soup. Beautiful Soup is a Python package for parsing HTML and XML. Is used to extract data from HTML, which is useful for web scraping. Rupiah exchange rate updates will be scheduled by the system every day at 12.30 p.m. GMT+07. © 2021 IEEE.

The rise of artificial intelligence agents and information technology platforms governed by data-driven algorithms has had profound impacts on the way knowledge work is managed and carried out. Concerning the novel uses of digital work platforms, the arising tensions might suggest that the socio-technical design frameworks adopted by major tech firms are becoming less viable and in some cases ineffective. We propose a conceptual architecture to support a socio-technical framework for exploring Personal Knowledge Ecologies in the context of the digital knowledge economy. This framework aims to increase the degree of individual freedom for the interoperation of these knowledge information infrastructures.

This research article presents a modified isolated SEPIC converter suitable for high-power applications. It uses a transformer instead of coupled inductor for isolation between the input power source and the output load. The steady-state analysis is explained in detail. Thermal loss analysis is performed by using PLECS software. Further, a hardware prototype is developed to verify the performance aspects of the proposed converter.

This research paper presents a bread mold identification system that utilizes digital image processing techniques, specifically K-means clustering and thresholding, to accurately detect and classify mold-infected areas on bread. The system aims to provide valuable information regarding the safety of consuming mold-contaminated bread, enabling consumers to make informed decisions and reduce the risk of health issues associated with consuming mold-infested bread. the K-means clustering algorithm for mold classification, considering factors such as the number of iterations and the distance metric within the feature space to determine its accuracy. The GLCM feature extraction technique is employed to extract texture information from bread images, encompassing features such as standard deviation (110.62), contrast (1.46), energy, and homogeneity (0.96 and 0.77, respectively). Experimental results demonstrate that the Euclidean Distance yielded the highest result of 72.73, the Cosine Distance obtained the highest result of 8.25, and the City Block Distance obtained the highest result of 92.11. These findings showcase the effectiveness of the system in accurately detecting and classifying mold-infected areas on bread, thereby aiding in ensuring food safety and reducing health risks for consumers.

Equivariant Graph Neural Networks (EGNNs) have demonstrated significant success in modeling microscale systems, including those in chemistry, biology and materials science. However, EGNNs face substantial computational challenges due to the high cost of constructing edge features via spherical tensor products, making them impractical for large-scale systems. To address this limitation, we introduce E2Former, an equivariant and efficient transformer architecture that incorporates the Wigner 6j convolution (Wigner 6j Conv). By shifting the computational burden from edges to nodes, the Wigner 6j Conv reduces the complexity from O(|E|) to O(|V|) while preserving both the model’s expressive power and rotational equivariance. We show that this approach achieves a 7x–30x speedup compared to conventional SO(3) convolutions. Furthermore, our empirical results demonstrate that the derived E2Former mitigates the computational challenges of existing approaches without compromising the ability to capture detailed geometric information. This development could suggest a promising direction for scalable and efficient molecular modeling. © 2025, CC BY.

This research is an analysis of the application of the SAW, WP and TOPSIS methods to the support system for decision making at university. The types of scholarships provided are PPA education scholarships given by the Kementerian Riset, Teknologi dan Pendidikan Tinggi. The research variables are the attributes or criteria specified by the Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs as contained in the 2018 Academic Achievement Improvement (PPA) guidebook. Decision Support Systems apply the classic FMADM method SAW, WP and TOPSIS. Many economically essential crops in Indonesia (such as coffee, tea, chocolate, or copra) require storage or drying under certain environmental conditions, especially temperature and humidity. The solar dryer dome, typically used for agricultural purposes in Indonesia, produces a sufficient amount of heat to increase the evaporation rate inside the dome and reduce the moisture content of the commodity. A hybrid solar dryer accompanied by a photovoltaic panel, fan, and ventilation system is generally suitable. The system can provide an optimum environment with minimum control. However, as the outdoor temperature and humidity change dramatically, such as at night time, more control is required. Based on Industry 4.0 technologies, we have developed a new kind of hybrid solar dryer that provides an optimum environment 24/7. The system, called Smart Dome 4.0, is an intelligent, low-cost, self-sufficient drying and storage system to support Indonesia Agriculture 4.0. The system has a local power generation unit to self-sustain the required energy and operate without connecting to the electricity grid. The system utilizes a machine-learning algorithm to predict the environmental condition and optimally uses self-generated electric power. The developed Smart Dome 4.0 technology is critical to producing a sustainable solar dome under drastic environmental dynamics. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In this paper we consider the modeling of measurement error for fund returns data. In particular, given access to a time-series of discretely observed log-returns and the associated maximum over the observation period, we develop a stochastic model which models the true log-returns and maximum via a Lévy process and the data as a measurement error there-of. The main technical difficulty of trying to infer this model, for instance Bayesian parameter estimation, is that the joint transition density of the return and maximum is seldom known, nor can it be simulated exactly. Based upon the novel stick breaking representation of [12] we provide an approximation of the model. We develop a Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) algorithm to sample from the Bayesian posterior of the approximated posterior and then extend this to a multilevel MCMC method which can reduce the computational cost to approximate posterior expectations, relative to ordinary MCMC. Smart furniture has emerged as a significant area of interest in scientific research over the past decade. This bibliometric analysis aims to explore the trends in scientific research related to smart furniture from 2014 to 2023. By examining a range of scholarly articles, this study delves into the evolution of smart furniture technologies, applications, and implications. The research reveals a growing interest in integrating intelligent systems into furniture design, enabling network connectivity and user-controlled operations. Despite the growing number of studies, the research landscape remains fragmented, necessitating a comprehensive bibliometric analysis to consolidate existing research and identify trends. Data selection from the Scopus database yielded a total of 97 documents from 69 sources, with average citations per doc is 8.041. On the corresponding author's countries, China is the highest country. Moreover, terms like “smart furniture” that expand in size and extend to the right of the chart indicate a growing emphasis in recent literature, signaling potential areas of increased research activity. Smart furniture is characterized as furniture that is connected to a network and equipped with intelligent technologies that make use of user data and energy sources. The study underscores the importance of addressing issues such as ease of use, privacy, security, and affordability in implementing smart furniture solutions. This study provides valuable insights into the current state and future prospects of smart furniture research, guiding further investigation and advancement in this rapidly evolving sector.
