SecMVX:Analysis on the Vulnerability of Multi-Variant Execution

As an active defenses technique,multivariant execution(MVX)can detect attacks by monitoring the consistency of heterogeneous variants with parallel *** with patch-style passive defense,MVX can defend against known and even unknown vulnerability-based attacks without relying on attack feature ***,variants generated with software diversity technologies will introduce new vulnerabilities when they execute in ***,we analyze the security of MVX theory from the perspective of formal *** we summarize the general forms and techniques for attacks against MVX,and analyze the new vulnerabilities arising from the combination of variant generation *** propose SecMVX,a secure MVX architecture and variant generation *** evaluations based on CVEs and SPEC 2006 benchmark show that SecMVX introduces 11.29%of the average time overhead,and avoids vulnerabilities caused by the improper combination of variant generation technologies while keeping the defensive ability of MVX.

High power continuous-wave ytterbium-doped fiber lasers have unique advantages such as high electro-optical efficiency, excellent beam quality and good thermal management, and are widely used in industrial materials processing and scientific research. However, multi-kW (\geqslant 10kW) high-power fiber lasers has encountered numerous technology challenges in double-cladding fibers. In this work, we designed and fabricated a triple-cladding ytterbium doped fiber with large core diameter by using Modified Chemical Vapor deposition (MCVd) combined with all-gas-phase doping method. An excellent laser performance could be demonstrated for such a fiber with an output power of more than 10 kW and a slope efficiency of 82%, no Transverse Mode instability (TMI) is observed. Long-term laser stability at 12 kW-level was carried out in a master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) laser system for 500 hours with power degradation less than 1%, meanwhile a stimulated raman scattering (SrS) suppression ratio that is larger than 45dB was obtained. © 2023 IEEE.

Superconducting electrodynamic suspension (EdS) presents numerous advantages, including large suspension gaps, high lift-to-drag ratios, and lower requirements for track irregularities. recent advancements in superconducting materials have further enhanced the feasibility of this technology, and hence multiple research institutions are actively developing and improving this high-speed rail technology. Superconducting EdS achieves passive suspension and guidance by the interaction between ground null-flux coils and onboard superconducting magnets, forming an electromechanical coupled system. Thus, electromechanical coupling modeling and equivalent experimental methods are essential in evaluating and optimizing this system. This article reviews the research on dynamic characteristics analysis of superconducting EdS, focusing on modeling and experimental methods. Firstly, it revisits the development history of superconducting EdS and the new opportunities brought by advancements in superconducting materials. Secondly, it discusses various modeling approaches for the suspension system, emphasizing their benefits and limitations. Thirdly, it describes equivalent experimental methods and their respective application scenarios. Then, it reviews important conclusions and possible optimization methods related to dynamic performance and electromechanical coupling research. Additionally, the sliding window method is introduced to improve computational efficiency in vehicle dynamics modeling. This article provides insights into the current state and future directions of superconducting EdS research, serving as a valuable reference for researchers and engineers.

Session-based recommendation (SBr) is a challenging task that involves predicting a user's next item click based on their recent session history. Presently, many state-of-the-art methodologies employ graph neural networks to model item transitions. Notwithstanding their impressive performance, graph-based models encounter significant challenges when confronted with intricate session dependencies and data sparsity in real-world scenarios, ultimately constraining their capacity to enhance recommendation accuracy. In recognition of these challenges, we introduce an innovative methodology known as'Mssen,' which stands for Multi-collaborative self-supervised learning in hypergraph neural networks. Mssen is meticulously crafted to adeptly discern user intent. Our approach initiates by representing session-based data as a hypergraph, adeptly capturing intricate, high-order relationships. Subsequently, we employ self-supervised learning on item-session hypergraphs to mitigate the challenges of data sparsity, all without necessitating manual fine-tuning, extensive search, or domain-specific expertise in augmentation selection. Comprehensive experimental analyses conducted across multiple datasets consistently underscore the superior performance of our approach when compared to existing methodologies. © 2024 ELrA Language resource Association: CC BY-NC 4.0.

Graph neural networks (GNNs) play a fundamental role in anomaly detection, excelling at the identification of node anomalies by aggregating information from neighboring nodes. Nonetheless, they exhibit vulnerability to attacks, with even minor alterations in the graph structure or node attributes resulting in substantial performance degradation. To address this critical challenge, we introduce an innovative mechanism for graph adversarial training, meticulously designed to bolster GNN-based anomaly detection systems against potential poisoning attacks. This novel approach follows a two-step framework. (1) In the initial phase, we employ a Multiple-Objective Generative Adversarial Attack (MO-GAA), which focuses on generating feature modifications and inducing structural disruptions within the graph. Its primary objective is to mimic the adversarial behavior of potential attackers on the anomaly detection graph, with the explicit intention of confounding the anomaly detector. (2) In the subsequent stage, we introduce Purification-Based Adversarial Attack defense (PB-AAd), a method specifically designed to rectify any contamination and restore the integrity of the graph. The central aim of PB-AAd is to counteract the destructive actions carried out by potential attackers. Our empirical findings, derived from extensive experiments conducted on four real-world anomaly detection datasets, serve to demonstrate how MO-GAA systematically disrupts the graph, compromising the effectiveness of GNN-based detectors, while PB-AAd effectively mitigates these adversarial actions, thereby enhancing the overall robustness of GNN-based anomaly detectors. © 2024 ELrA Language resource Association: CC BY-NC 4.0.

To serve the numerous services, today's wireless communication devices require microwave network systems with multiband and multifunctional capabilities. A growing number of microwave circuits and parts that can handle several frequency bands and larger bandwidths are needed to support the unprecedented systems. The issues in EMI/EMC have grown as a result of research and advances in contemporary wireless network communication equipment. Generally speaking, there are several ways to reduce different EMI issues. Therefore, the necessary tunable and downsized components are required to make these systems smaller, lighter, and less expensive. Most studies on emission measurements have been done in the time domain recently and one of the widely used techniques is the creation of EMI band pass filters. This article presents band pass filters with HIddS (Hybrid Inter digital defected Ground Structure). Additionally, a number of uses for the hybrid S-parameters are provided by fusing Agilent AdS circuit tool and full-wave EM solvers. To provide a complete EM response of the filter construction, 3d EM simulations are performed. The analysis of the simulated findings with the results of previous experiments has revealed that HIddS (Hybrid Inter digital defected ground Structure) provides minimal insertion loss and a larger range of stop band frequencies. Therefore, wireless systems might benefit from the band pass filters with HIddS that have been proposed. © 2023 IEEE.

In the traditional development process of electric locomotive traction control software, there existed problems such as high labor costs, inconsistent development standards, difficult software verification, and high software maintenance costs. MBd (Model-Based-design) and the automatic code generation technology were mostly used in the field of automotive electronics, promoted in several mainstream automobile factories, but had hardly ventured into the field of rail transit. The MBd method was applied to the development process of electric locomotive traction control software, to realize the model-based traction control logic and algorithm development in the MATLAB platform. The paper shows the process of designing the traction control model, generating the code and being downloaded to the traction control unit automatically, finally, testing the system with HIL (Hardware-In-Loop) semi-physical simulation. The four-quadrant waveforms met the design requirements. The results showed that it was feasible, efficient and economical to design the four-quadrant control software of the traction converter by the MBd method. © Beijing Paike Culture Commu. Most existing multimodal named entity recognition (MNEr) methods cannot align image and text well, and fail to effectively fuse image-text semantic information, leading to suboptimal MNEr accuracy. To this end, this paper proposes a novel named entity recognition model based on Contrastive Learning and Multimodal Semantic Interaction (named CLMSI). Specifically, to narrow the semantic gap between image-text modalities, making semantically similar image-text representations closer and pushing dissimilar ones further apart, we propose a contrastive learning-based cross-modal alignment method. Moreover, to integrate multimodal information effectively and filter out the noise introduced by image features as thoroughly as possible, we propose to incorporate image descriptions as additional features to enrich the multimodal representation and to reduce the semantic bias of the image information. Extensive experiments conducted on two MNEr benchmark datasets, Twitter-2015 and Twitter-2017, demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method. Further ablation studies and case analyses also affirm the efficacy of CLMSI. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper establishes simulation modeling for large-scale grid connected wind power with energy storage system (ESS). The conventional grid-following (GFL) based ESS is used as a reference object to test the active support performance of large-scale grid-connected wind power with grid-forming (GFM) based ESS with active support performance evaluation indices in different scenarios. (1) Small disturbance evaluation indices: The point of common coupling (PCC) frequency/voltage drop depth and recovery time. (2) Large disturbance evaluation indices: The PCC frequency/voltage drop depth and rise height after fault removal. The output active/reactive power drop depth and rise height/recovery time after fault removal. (3) Island capability evaluation indices: The PCC frequency/voltage fluctuation amplitude at the moment of switching and system stability after switching. © 2023 IEEE.
