remote sensing observations meet some limitations when used to study the bulk atmospheric composition of the giant planets of our solar system. A remarkable example of the superiority of in situ probe measurements is illustrated by the exploration of Jupiter, where key measurements such as the determination of the noble gases' abundances and the precise measurement of the helium mixing ratio have only been made available through in situ measurements by the Galileo probe. This paper describes the main scientific goals to be addressed by the future in situ exploration of Saturn placing the Galileo probe exploration of Jupiter in a broader context and before the future probe exploration of the more remote ice giants. In situ exploration of Saturn's atmosphere addresses two broad themes that are discussed throughout this paper: first, the formation history of our solar system and second, the processes at play in planetary atmospheres. In this context, we detail the reasons why measurements of Saturn's bulk elemental and isotopic composition would place important constraints on the volatile reservoirs in the protosolar nebula. We also show that the in situ measurement of CO (or any other disequilibrium species that is depleted by reaction with water) in Saturn's upper troposphere may help constraining its bulk O/H ratio. We compare predictions of Jupiter and Saturn's bulk compositions from different formation scenarios, and highlight the key measurements required to distinguish competing theories to shed light on giant planet formation as a common process in planetary systems with potential applications to most extrasolar systems. In situ measurements of Saturn's stratospheric and tropospheric dynamics, chemistry and cloud-forming processes will provide access to phenomena unreachable to remote sensing studies. different mission architectures are envisaged, which would benefit from strong international collaborations, all based on an entry probe that would descend throug

The hierarchy design to overcome the vehicle's fault will be introduced. It is consists of three layers such as physical, presentation, and application layer. Fault detection and physical redundant mechanism is the main issue of the physical layer. Creating fault code and finding out the maximum fault level among multiple fault codes are important activities in the presentation layer. The driving method by remaining motors and emergency stop are vehicle level's action based on vehicle dynamic algorithm and control sequence of the application layer. After explaining each layer's role and activities in detail, the result of the experiments are shown to verify its completeness and superiority.

We describe a study that aims towards enhancing our understanding of the perception of H.264/AVC compressed stereoscopic 3d videos, in particular spatial video quality, depth quality, visual comfort and overall 3d video quality. The results of this study indicate that the human subjects have diverse opinions on depth quality scores but a high agreement on spatial video quality. Their agreement on overall 3d video quality is intermediate relative to that on spatial video quality and depth quality. Based on our analysis, we propose to use separate quality assessment models: spatial video quality models and depth quality models.

Simultaneous multi-target tracking and identification using multiple radar sensors is advantageous to offer more reliable real-time information for situation assessment, resource management and decision making, which is essentially a problem of joint tracking, association, identification and sensor fusion. This paper first presents a method to use the rao-Blackwellised particle filter (rBPF) based approach to address the joint multitarget tracking, association and identification in presence of clutter using a single radar kinematic measurement. Using the particle filter as an association indicator, the data association is efficiently integrated into the rBPF frameworks. To achieve more robust and reliable performance, multi-sensor fusion is exploited. dempster-Shafter (d-S) belief function is then incorporated into the rBPF framework under the transferable belief model (TBM) to provide a flexible fusion result. computer simulations using the proposed schemes show reliable tracking and reasonable and correct target classification with great flexibility.

direction-Of-Arrival (dOA) estimation is one of significant techniques for high-speed mobile communication to know wave propagation environment [1]. High resolution dOA estimation algorithms like MUSIC [2], and ESPrIT [3] have already been widely used in many wireless communication applications. Generally planar array structures are used for 2-d dOA estimation. Planar arrays often well estimate azimuth angles but cannot well estimate elevation angles because of short antenna aperture in elevation direction. Therefore we try to develop a 3-d array configuration which well estimate both azimuth and elevation angles.

Free cooling has become widely used in the area of computer room thermal control, especially where the temperature constraint can be relaxed. However, in tropical regions, such as Malaysia, free cooling cannot be applied all of the time. This paper presents a strategy for grids that allows jobs to be executed on resources that are free cooled. The paper describes how a recommended period of time for using free cooled resources is predicted. The period is predicted from a historical analysis by using machine learning. Experiments on a classroom used for campus grid computing showed that, typically, free cooled resources can be used for 5 hours per day, when the temperature is less than 28 degrees Celsius. The result is of use to those developing campus grids in tropical countries.
