Different types of heterogeneous multiple service robots are working in the same environment to help humans in many ways in a smart house. These service robots have different capabilities based on the different control and communication systems. The complexity of the programming of the robots is now reduced by using middleware like Robot Operating system (ROS). However, the communication and control of the heterogeneous service robots using very high-level instruction is still tricky because of differences in ROS topics. If a user has issued a high-level instruction to all multiple heterogeneous robots in the same environment, then all robots must complete the given task without considering the software differences in each robot. This research has developed a web-based interface where users can input high-level instruction to all multiple heterogeneous robots running in the same environment. We have used three levels of instructions. Level 01 moves robot forward for the given speed for some distance without obstacles. Level 02 is to move the robot to a specific location without obstacles. Level 03 is to navigate the robot to a goal with some obstacles in the environment. Initially, all robots need to register their software specifications and hardware specification Format (URDF) in the robot registration engine with the help of the ontology. Then all service robots act according to the instruction given by the interpreter. The proposed system was evaluated using a simulated environment with a gazebo using "Turtlebot"and "Tiago"robots. Time complexity analysis of all algorithms was completed using the Big O notation. © 2022 IEEE.

Most existing multimodal named entity recognition (MNER) methods cannot align image and text well, and fail to effectively fuse image-text semantic information, leading to suboptimal MNER accuracy. To this end, this paper proposes a novel named entity recognition model based on Contrastive Learning and Multimodal Semantic Interaction (named CLMSI). Specifically, to narrow the semantic gap between image-text modalities, making semantically similar image-text representations closer and pushing dissimilar ones further apart, we propose a contrastive learning-based cross-modal alignment method. Moreover, to integrate multimodal information effectively and filter out the noise introduced by image features as thoroughly as possible, we propose to incorporate image descriptions as additional features to enrich the multimodal representation and to reduce the semantic bias of the image information. Extensive experiments conducted on two MNER benchmark datasets, Twitter-2015 and Twitter-2017, demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method. Further ablation studies and case analyses also affirm the efficacy of CLMSI. © 2024 IEEE.

LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network) is a wireless communication technology widely used in intelligent transportation and supply chain sectors. Despite its advantages, such as wide range and low power consumption, LoRaWAN faces significant challenges, including high packet loss and inefficient spectrum usage. This research examines the Listen Before Talk (LBT) mechanism to address these issues by comparing its performance against other mechanisms such as Adaptive Data Rate (ADR) and Additive Links On-line Hawaii Area (ALOHA). LBT allows devices to check the channel before transmission, reducing the risk of interference and data collisions. The results show that LBT significantly reduces the collision rate compared to ADR and ALOHA, with a collision rate of 10% for LBT, 20% for ADR, and 40% for ALOHA. These findings reinforce the potential of LBT in improving the performance of LoRaWAN, especially in applications that require reliable data delivery without data loss. © 2024 IEEE.

A fundamental shift is underway from electrical en-ergy to renewable energy. Renewable energy sources are beyond the push and simple decentralization of the electricity market. This transfer process is based on the energy sector's relationship between old technology and new technology. It connects it with other sectors, such as information and communication technology (ICT), so that it can be reached by technology transfer carried out by information technology players into the market. Blockchain technology is playing a vital role in this shift by offering a decentralized system and an alternative approach to the current organizational form of the energy market. This paper describes the role of blockchain systems in the energy sector, which is described using the term 'energy blockchain.' In this study, this research aims to utilize blockchain energy that includes and passes through all aspects by looking at organizations that emphasize the interrelationship of technical dimensions and social dimensions in the energy sector based on the benefits and princi-ples of blockchain for energy trading, information storage, and or increasing transparency of energy flows and energy service. In the following chapters, the authors provide an overview of the current changes in the electricity market, a discussion of the different possible uses for blockchain technology in the energy sector, and a discussion of the barriers and potentials of blockchain energy using different learning perspectives. Finally, the possible opportunities and risks of blockchain energy are discussed. In modern datacenters, memory disaggregation un-packs monolithic servers to build independent network-connected compute and memory pools, greatly improving resource uti-lization. Existing memory-disaggregated key-value stores adopt ownership sharing or ownership partitioning for request scheduling and they all show poor performance and scalability. The former generates multiple cache misses and multiple network round trips due to poor cache locality, while the latter fails to fully use resources on all Compute Nodes (CNs) due to load imbalance. In this paper, we propose Seastar, a fast and scalable key-value store that achieves high cache locality as well as load balancing. To enable high concurrency and ensure linearizability, Seastar exploits a self-verification version chain to provide out-of-place atomic updates and ensure consistent reads. To improve cache locality, Seastar leverages a pair-based ownership assigning scheme to assign the processing permission of requests corre-sponding to each key to a CN pair through two independent hash functions. To ensure load balancing among CNs, Seastar proposes a decentralized power-of-two-choices routing scheme to route the requests to the less-loaded CNs in CN pairs for handling. Experimental results demonstrate that Seastar improves the throughput by up to 6.7x and significantly reduces the latency compared with state-of-the-art memory-disaggregated key-value stores. © 2024 IEEE.

Uncertain knowledge graphs store the relations between entities in the real world in the form of weighted triples, where the weights indicate the confidence scores of the triples to be true. However, there is limited research on the inference of uncertain knowledge graphs, especially in the integration of symbolic and numerical methods. Rules are explicit knowledge. Encoding the rules directly can provide more knowledge graph semantic information and can make full use of the interpretability and accuracy of logical rules. Unfortunately, none of the existing methods directly encode rules for uncertain knowledge graphs, but only use rules to calculate the confidence of unseen triples in training data. In this paper, we propose a new reasoning model CRLUKG for uncertain knowledge graphs, that combines the advantages of symbolic and numerical reasoning. We directly encode rules mined from the knowledge graph as one of the inputs of the CRLUKG model. Compositional representation learning with triple and rule embedding is implemented for optimizing objective function for triples and relations pairs. Experimental results demonstrate that our proposed method enhances the accuracy of reasoning, and furthermore, CRLUKG exhibits superior performance in comparison to baseline models when handling multi-task scenarios. © 2024 IEEE.

Model-based system engineering solves the multi-disciplinary, cross-domain issues faced by complex system development groups. Model-driven methods, which use models to drive the whole process of the system, also become an important technology. The reliability analysis of complex system model is helpful to improve the research and development level of complex system, improve and ensure the confidence of model-driven system, and reduce the uncertainty in the driving process, which is also the basis of the model-driven method. This paper introduces the research progress of the reliability analysis technology of complex system based on the model. It puts forward the reliability verification method of the model in the driving process, which can establish the fault tree of the system according to the model, and then carry out the fault analysis through Monte Carlo simulation to realize the complex large-scale dynamic fault tree analysis (FTA). Recent years have seen a considerable increase in the difficulty for our society in ensuring deep-rooted sustainability of traditional technology involve in critical structure. The role of Artificial intelligence (AI) is gaining importance significantly. By delivering ubiquitous real-time applications, It has aided in improving smart environments in many different industries, including smart cities, manufacturing, transportation, health, and the Internet of Things (IoT) by delivering ubiquitous real-time applications. As the technologies like natural language processing, deep learning, machine learning (ML), and others dramatically improve the functionality of communications, digital commerce, content, and apps, AI is poised to fundamentally change the information and communications technology (ICT) industry. Technological advancements brought changes that affect how we live nationally and internationally. The expansion of the economy has been significantly influenced by transportation. It has recently faced several challenges, including the competitiveness of public transportation and an inability to improve its services. Transport systems continue to have operational issues that deter people from using them. These include the fact that drivers frequently travel either deliberately, slowly, or dangerously quickly, making the schedules posted at bus stops untrustworthy. The most effective remedies to these cyber threats are developed using AI, which also offers the best answer. Security hazards are another unexpected effect of these technological improvements. In order to increase the effectiveness of transportation operations and improve public service, this study makes use of cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology. It also clarifies the capabilities of an AI-based transport system to guarantee high dependability and security in the future. The paper also discusses how AI-based systems can play a part in the intelligent transport system. © 2023 IEEE.

Optical speed sensors based on the spatial frequency filter method are a proven technology that offer high measurement accuracy over a wide speed range. Newly developed variants also enable measurements at very low speeds and increase the robustness of the method [1]. This makes the sensor very suitable for use in the area of functional safety. A measurement chain up to safety integrity level 3 (SIL3) should be feasible via a combination with a safety system on a chip (SoC) for evaluating the measurement data and an extension of the sensor module to include safety-related elements [2], [3]. By integrating the sensor at IC level, a compact overall solution is to be made possible. After the first successful tests with the safety SoC, further examinations of the measuring method with regard to functional safety are now necessary. © 2023 IEEE.
