This study simulates a n-i-p planar heterojunction for Na2SnBr6-based perovskite solar cells (PSCs), with Na2SnBr6 as the absorber layer, fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) as the substrate, and In2S3, IGZO, and SnS2 as electron transport layers (ETLs). Gold (Au) is used as the back contact. Na2SnBr6 was chosen for its low cost, non-toxicity, tunable band gap, excellent electrical properties, and stability. The SCAPS-1D simulator was employed to model the solar cell performance under AM 1.5 G light irradiation, focusing on factors like doping concentration, layer thickness, defect density, and interface defects across three device configurations: Device I (Au/Na2SnBr6/ In2S3/FTO/Al), Device II (Au/ Na2SnBr6/IGZO/FTO/Al), and Device III (Au/ Na2SnBr6/SnS2/FTO/Al). Device III achieved the highest PCE of 31.35%, FF of 85.95%, VOC of 0.7926 V, and JSC of 46.01 mA/cm22, making it a promising candidate for high-efficiency, lead-free perovskite solar cells. Devices I and II showed lower efficiencies of 27.47% and 30.98%, respectively. The study also analyzed quantum efficiency (QE), carrier dynamics, and recombination rates, highlighting the potential of Device III in advancing Na2SnBr6-based hybrid perovskite solar technologies for future solar energy applications. © 2025 Optica Publishing Group under the terms of the Optica Open Access Publishing Agreement.

Agriculture is the study and practice of raising plants and animals for human consumption. Approximately 60.45% of India's land is devoted to farming, making it the country's second largest economic sector. Agriculture and the related agro-industrial sector are crucial to India's economy. Soil components (such as nitrogen-phosphorus &potassium), crop rotation, soil-moisture, air and soil-temperatures, rainfall, and other environmental factors all play important roles in successful farming. One piece of current evidence in this area is a technique that utilizes machine-learning (ML) strategies like Random-Forest (RF), Decision-Tree (DT), and ANN to pick the best crop. In this study, we employ deep learning approaches to improve the suggested model, and together with crop prediction, we obtain clear information regarding the quantities of soil attributes requisite, along with their individual costs. It's more precise than the current model. By analyzing the data provided, it aids farmers in making informed business decisions. Predicting a proper yield requires thinking about the land's climate and soil. The goal is to introduce a Python-based system that makes use of strategic thinking to anticipate the most productive harvest under specific conditions while keeping costs to a minimum. While LSTM &RNN are employed as deep-learning((DL)-strategies in this work, SVM is used as the ML-strategy. © 2024 IEEE.

CMD: A Cache-Assisted GPU Memory Deduplication Architecture

Massive off-chip accesses in GPUs are the main performance bottleneck. We find that many writes are duplicate, and the duplication can be inter-dup and intra-dup. While inter-dup means different memory blocks are identical, and intra-dup means all the 4B elements in a line are the same. In this work, we propose a cache-assisted GPU memory deduplication architecture named CMD to reduce the off-chip accesses via utilizing the data duplication in GPU applications. CMD includes three key design contributions which aim to reduce the three kinds of accesses: (1) A novel GPU memory deduplication architecture that removes the intra-dup and inter-dup lines. We design several techniques to manage duplicate blocks, reducing massive off-chip writes. (2) We propose a cache-assisted read scheme to reduce the reads to duplicate data. When an L2 cache miss wants to read the duplicate block, if the reference block has been fetched to L2 and it is clean, we can copy it to the L2 missed block without accessing off-chip DRAM. As for the reads to intra-dup data, CMD uses the on-chip metadata cache to get the data. (3) When a cache line is evicted, the clean sectors in the line are invalidated while the dirty sectors are written back. However, most read-only victims are re-referenced from DRAM more than twice. Therefore, we add a full-associate FIFO to accommodate the read-only (it is also clean) victims to reduce the re-reference counts. Experiments show that CMD can decrease the off-chip accesses by 31.01%, reduce the energy by 32.78% and improve performance by 42.53%. Besides, CMD can improve the performance of memory-intensive workloads by 57.56%. © 2025 IEEE.

The use of information technology plays an important and necessary role in the development of ecotourism institutional. Likewise, if the development and progress of information technology can be applied to the small and medium businesses related to the ecotourism industry then, the selling value of the ecotourism industry will develop and increase. This research was conducted to determine the level of readiness of the ecotourism industry in carrying out the sustainable implementation of information technology in managing the ecotourism industry. We developed a research model by combining and adapting the technology readiness model and the successful information technology development model for the development of the ecotourism industry in six ecotourism units in Indonesia. This quantitative study involved 300 SME workers and managers. Data was processed and analyzed using the Multi Dimensional Scaling method, with descriptive data entered into a spreadsheet application. According to the analysis performed for this study, the sustainability index value was 53.11%, which is in the range of (50-74.99) percent or is fairly sustainable. The leverage attribute refers to the use of social media to promote wild products in the ecotourism sector. Wild products are goods or services that are produced without causing environmental harm. © 2023 IEEE.

With the successful manufacture of highly stable and high-performance satellite processors, caching on satellites has become possible. information Centric Networking (ICN) is introduced to satellite networks to address the growing need for diverse data services. However, existing caching policies in ICN still suffer from the shortage of rational planning of cache locations and redundancy of cache contents. Consequently, the time slot correlation-based caching strategy for satellite networks (TSCCS) is proposed. Firstly, the index of time slot correlation is designed to quantify the neighboring time slots’ coupling relationship, and then the DSAM network model with time slot correlation is established. Secondly, the significance of satellite nodes is evaluated from the local and global perspectives respectively based on the eigenvector centrality algorithm to filter out the dynamic set of cache nodes. Finally, probabilistic caching is performed at the set of caching nodes with the goal of reducing cached content redundancy, considering content popularity and access delay. The simulated outcomes indicate that the TSCCS caching policy is superior to the comparison method in the areas of cache hit rate, request latency, and server load. © 2023, ICST Institute for computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering.

Swarm intelligence is a class of nature-inspired metaheuristic algorithms, that is specifically derived from biological systems in nature with an emphasis on their social interactions. These algorithms have been primarily developed to solve complex combinatorial optimization problems and are extremely popular among researchers in metaheuristic algorithms. This is evident from the numerous published scientific papers describing algorithms inspired by biological systems, ranging from insects such as ants and bees to the largest animals on the planet like whales. All these algorithms share some common concepts and relationships that can be explicitly identified, named, and formalized. These shared concepts and relationships can be organized and represented through the construction of an ontology. The goal of this paper is to present a formal ontology that standardizes vocabulary, as well as a set of rules enabling precise communication and reasoning about these algorithms. Ultimately, this will improve our understanding, analysis, research processes, and utilization of these computational approaches. © 2023 IEEE.

Traffic flow prediction is a crucial component of establishing the intelligent transportation system. Accurate and real-time traffic flow prediction is of great significance for urban traffic management. With the recent development of artificial intelligence, deep learning-based methods have been effective tools for traffic flow prediction. However, locality-unawareness and data scarcity are still two open issues to be considered in traffic flow prediction tasks. To address these problems, we propose a novel locality-aware spatial-temporal attention neural network, named LASTANN, in this paper. Specifically, we propose two elaborate attention modules to perceive local information in spatial and temporal dimensions. We also propose an auxiliary module based on contrast learning to strengthen the representation ability of model. We verify the effectiveness of the proposed model on two real-world traffic flow datasets. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed LASTANN outperforms other baselines consistently and each component enhances the prediction performances significantly. © 2023 SPIE.

Technological advancements are accelerating in the modern day;one such advancement is augmented reality (AR) technology. Naturally, these advancements have an effect on various sectors of life, one of which is education. The education industry will be the most impacted if campuses implement and deploy augmented reality technology. One of these is through the use of augmented reality technology as an application-based learning medium for students in order to motivate them to learn and make it easier for them to improve their academic performance on campus. The issue at hand is the absence of utilization of augmentation reality technology as a learning medium on campus, which, of course, does not capitalize on technical advancements to improve student interest in learning. This study employs a research and development model. The method is divided into four phases: (1) planning;(2) data collecting;(3) analysis, discussion, and development;and (4) documentation. The findings of this study reveal that students enthusiastically support the usage of augmented reality technology as a learning medium in order to boost accomplishment and introduce new experiences through its use. However, it is required to have a system capable of serving as a technological medium, so that the construction of a system capable of serving as a medium for augmented reality may be easily accessed by students, who hope that this system would enable them to better their academic performance. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Digital Marketing is a product marketing strategy using digital media and internet networks. Nowadays, digital marketing is a necessity for companies that thrive in the digital world. It greatly affects the growth of MSME (Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises) especially when it comes to increasing their sales performance by enhancing their brand awareness through various media or instruments such as a Facebook ad, Instagram advertising, Search Engine Optimization, and Search Engine Marketing. This research is aimed to measure how much impact of digital marketing utilization into Micro, Small, Medium enterprises. On the other hand, it also provides an understanding on what are the best digital marketing method to be utilized in the current situation. The method we used in this paper is quantitative. Data were collected through various questions constructed in an electronic questionnaire. This research provides a reference of digital marketing strategies for Micro, Small and Medium business owners. The result shows that digital marketing has a huge impact on the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise from increasing sales, increasing brand awareness, and gaining customers based on the data collected from both customer and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise players in Indonesia. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
