Notable tech companies such as Facebook, Microsoft, Apple, Google, and a number of game companies have launched bold plans to bring the metaverse to life. It is inevitable that in the years to come, virtual worlds will change significantly as a result of the metaverse ecosystem's ongoing enhancement and the rapid advancement of new technology. Nonetheless, a great deal of work still has to be done before the metaverse can be incorporated into our everyday lives and physical reality. This paper explores the metaverse's rising importance in the area of medicine and looks at its technological roadmap. We see a metaverse having the potential to drastically change intelligent health care facilities in the future, ushering in a new age of creative healthcare solutions.

Web search engines are used for retrieving information but still there exists ambiguity in their retrieval process. It is so because traditional search engines laid emphasis on matching of keywords rather than maintaining semantic relations among terms lack of ability to produce precise results, presence of ambiguous keywords and verifying needs of users are few hindrances that are acting as scenario for web search engines. The paper focuses on improving search quality of users by collecting user experiences through creating hierarchical user profile it leads to collaborative search engine that helps in reaching at particular decision then the collected user's data are uploaded to recommendation server which are than displayed a search engines like Google/Yahoo.

Large Language Models (LLM) is a type of artificial neural network that excels at language-related tasks. The advantages and disadvantages of using LLM in software engineering are still being debated, but it is a tool that can be utilized in software engineering. This study aimed to analyze LLM studies in software engineering using bibliometric and content analysis. The study data were retrieved from Web of Science and Scopus. The data were analyzed using two popular bibliometric approaches: bibliometric and content analysis. VOS Viewer and Bibliometrix software were used to conduct the bibliometric analysis. The bibliometric analysis was performed using science mapping and performance analysis approaches. Various bibliometric data, including the most frequently referenced publications, journals, and nations, were evaluated and presented. Then, the synthetic knowledge method was utilized for content analysis. This study examined 235 papers, with 836 authors contributing. The publications were published in 123 different journals. The average number of citations per publication is 1.44. Most publications were published in Proceedings International Conference on Software Engineering and ACM International Conference Proceeding Series, with China and the United States emerging as the leading countries. It was discovered that international collaboration on the issue was inadequate. The most often used keywords in the publications were "software design," "code (symbols)," and "code generation." Following the content analysis, three themes emerged: 1) Integration of LLM into software engineering education, 2) application of LLM in software engineering, and 3) potential and limitation of LLM in software engineering. Medical images are a specific type of image that can be used to diagnose disease in patients. Critical uses for medical images can be found in many different areas of medicine and healthcare technology. Generally, the medical images produced by these imaging methods have low contrast. As a result, such types of images need immediate and fast enhancement. This paper introduced a novel image enhancement methodology based on the Laplacian filter, contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization, and an adjustment algorithm. Two image datasets were used to test the proposed method: The DRIVE dataset, forty images from the COVID-19 Radiography Database, endometrioma-11, normal-brain-MRI-6, and simple-breast-cyst-2. In addition, we used the robust MATLAB package to evaluate our proposed algorithm's efficacy. The results are compared quantitatively, and their efficacy is assessed using four metrics: Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR), Mean Square Error (MSE), Contrast to Noise Ratio (CNR), and Entropy (Ent). The experiments show that the proposed method yields improved images of higher quality than those obtained from state-of-the-art techniques regarding MSE, CNR, PSNR, and Ent metrics. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Image segmentation is a critical step in computer-aided diagnosis that could speed up Leukemia detection. Leukemia is a cancer of the blood that has a reputation for being particularly lethal. Based on the immunohistochemical method, the leukocytes can be manually counted in a stained peripheral blood smear image to detect Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Regrettably, the manual diagnosis process takes about 3 to 24 hours to complete, which is insufficient. This paper introduced a new and straightforward ALL image segmentation approach based on color image transformation. First, Leukemia, ALL-IDB1, ALL-IDB2, and ALL image datasets were used in this paper. The Leukemia dataset includes 208 ALL-IDB1 and ALL-IDB2 images, while The ALL dataset has 3256 images. Next, we use the HSV model to transform ALL images. In addition, we modified the HSV model by pre-processing the saturation channel for better results. Then, the pre-processed images were segmented based on a fixed threshold. After that, various metrics are utilized to measure the output of the proposed method. Finally, the proposed methodology is compared to currently used benchmarks. The proposed method outperforms previous approaches regarding accuracy, specificity, sensitivity, and time. In addition, results show that the proposed technique improves performance measures significantly. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Polarization and waveform optimization can significantly improve the detection ability of fully polarized radar. However, in practical scenarios, atmospheric particles frequently induce depolarization effects on radar waves, thereby influencing precise target detection, a phenomenon predominantly observed with raindrop particles. This paper establishes a target detection model for fully polarized radar in rainy condition. Subsequently, a joint transceiver iterative optimization algorithm is devised, utilizing the maximum output signal-to-interference plus noise ratio (SINR) of the system as the benchmark, and imposing dual constraints of energy and resemblance on the transmitting waveform. Ultimately, the effectiveness of the proposed method under rainy condition is validated through simulation, and recommendations for engineering applications are provided based on the analysis. © The Institution of Engineering & technology 2023.

Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) is a prevalent eye complication among individuals with diabetes. Early detection of DR can prevent vision loss and lower associated problems. Manual diagnosis via retinal fundus images requires the expertise of medical professionals to assess several complex characteristics, including visual acuity tests, pupil dilation, and optical consistency tomography. The process is challenging, time-consuming, and prone to errors. This paper proposes a deep learning (DL) technique, DRDnet22, to detect and categorize DR into five distinct stages. The APTOS 2019 dataset is utilized in this study, which contains 3662 images. The study employs dense block and transition layer with global average pooling (GAP) techniques, and the combination of distinct Convolutional Networks (ConvNets) results in an enhanced representation beyond the utilization of features from a single ConvNet alone. To conduct an ablation analysis, the conventional pre-trained model’s performance was compared. The performance evaluation points out that the proposed model achieved 81.6% accuracy, which is an advantage over other DCNN models. Despite facing a few inaccuracies, the model’s competence in spotting vital features underscores its diagnostic potential.
