The world population relies on agricultural plants for food, and illnesses reduce yield, but proper plant disease monitoring can help to resolve such issues. computer vision and machine learning methods can detect plant illnesses early, reducing their negative consequences and overcoming the drawbacks of continual human monitoring. After pre-processing of input images, the target region needs to be isolated. The proposed models analyzes images for detection and classification to identify edges, colors, and textures. This research has agricultural applications for early disease identification. This study examined ResNet, MobileNet, DenseNet, InceptionV3 and modified CNN model on the PlantVillage dataset to classify tomato illnesses. The F1 score, accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity can evaluate models. This paper evaluates these models using a diverse collection of tomato leaf pictures, contributing to automated disease detection systems and may be helpful for improving farm management and sustainability.

This paper investigates the covert communication in a satellite-terrestrial system, including a satellite transmitter Alice, a terrestrial full-duplex receiver Bob and a terrestrial warden Willie. To help the covert transmission from Alice, the full-duplex Bob transmits the jamming signal to confuse Willie and also receives the signal from Alice simultaneously. To explore the fundamental covertness in such a system, we first provide theoretical modelings for satellite-terrestrial downlink, and the detection error probability of Willie. Based on these models, we then study the transmit power optimization for covert rate maximization. Finally, we present extensive numerical results to validate our theoretical analysis and to illustrate the impact of various system parameters on the maximum covert rate. © 2024 IEEE.

Introduction: Pneumonia is a microorganism infection that causes chronic inflammation of the human lung cells. Chest X-ray imaging is the most well-known screening approach used for detecting pneumonia in the early stages. While chest-Xray images are mostly blurry with low illumination, a strong feature extraction approach is required for promising identification performance. Objectives: A new hybrid explainable deep learning framework is proposed for accurate pneumonia disease identification using chest X-ray images. Methods: The proposed hybrid workflow is developed by fusing the capabilities of both ensemble convolutional networks and the Transformer Encoder mechanism. The ensemble learning backbone is used to extract strong features from the raw input X-ray images in two different scenarios: ensemble A (i.e., DenseNet201, VGG16, and GoogleNet) and ensemble B (i.e., DenseNet201, InceptionResNetV2, and Xception). Whereas, the Transformer Encoder is built based on the self-attention mechanism with multilayer perceptron (MLP) for accurate disease identification. The visual explainable saliency maps are derived to emphasize the crucial predicted regions on the input X-ray images. The end-to-end training process of the proposed deep learning models over all scenarios is performed for binary and multi-class classification scenarios. Results: The proposed hybrid deep learning model recorded 99.21% classification performance in terms of overall accuracy and F1-score for the binary classification task, while it achieved 98.19% accuracy and 97.29% F1-score for multi-classification task. For the ensemble binary identification scenario, ensemble A recorded 97.22% accuracy and 97.14% F1-score, while ensemble B achieved 96.44% for both accuracy and F1-score. For the ensemble multiclass identification scenario, ensemble A recorded 97.2% accuracy and 95.8% F1-score, while ensemble B recorded 96.4% accuracy and 94.9% F1-score. Background: Cloud Computing has drawn much attention in the industry due to its cost-efficient schema along with more prospects, such as elasticity and scalability nature of Cloud Com-puting. One of the main service models of a Cloud is software as a service, where many web services are published and hosted in the Cloud environment. Many web services offered in a Cloud have similar functionality, with different of characteristics non-functional requirements such as Quality of Service (QoS). In addition, as individual web services are limited in their capability. Therefore, there is a need for composing existing services to create new functionality in the form of composite service to fulfill the requirements of Cloud user for certain processes. Methods: This paper introduces a fuzzy rule approach to compose web service based on QoS from different Cloud Computing providers. The fuzzy rule is generated based on QoS of discovered web service from Cloud in order to compose web services that only match user requirements. The proposed model is based on an agent that is responsible for discovering and composing web service that only stratified user requirements Result: the experimental result shows that the proposed model is efficient in terms of time and the use of fuzzy rules to compose web services from different Cloud providers under different specifica-tions and configurations of Cloud Computing environment. Conclusion: In this paper, an agent-based model was proposed to compose web services based on fuzzy rule in Cloud environment. The agent is responsible for discovering web services and generat-ing composition plans based on offered QoS for each web service. The agent employs a set of fuzzy rules to carry out an intelligent selection to select the best composition plan that fulfills the requirements of the end user. Text is a fundamental system of symbolic representation, and it plays a major role in human culture and communication. Its ability to convey the rich semantic information has become very essential in vision-based applications. With the advancement of deep learning, computer vision techniques particularly in text detection and recognition has undergone significant evolution. This paper investigates the transformative impact of deep learning on scene text detection and recognition, specifically on curved metal surfaces. By leveraging Easy Optical Character Recognition (EasyOCR) and OpenCV, the proposed approach achieves an impressive accuracy of 90% for text recognition in challenging curved surfaces. Additionally, this study explores to optimization techniques designed to enhance detection precision and examines the scalability of deep learning models in real-world applications.

The rapid evolution of the digital world has elevated the task of domain name categorization to a critical challenge, essential for content filtering, fraud prevention, and cybersecurity. This paper introduces the “Dimensional Fusion Classifier” (DFC), a novel approach that integrates multi-dimensional data analysis with state-of-the-art deep learning techniques to enhance domain name categorization. Central to the DFC methodology is the construction of a rich dataset encompassing a wide range of domain attributes, including domain names, subdomains, titles, content, and Whois information. This multifaceted dataset lays the groundwork for our advanced classification model, which synergistically combines the contextual processing capabilities of BGE, the sequential data proficiency of BiLSTM, and the targeted precision of an Attention mechanism. This fusion enables a comprehensive interpretation and sophisticated classification of domain names, based on their complex attributes. Extensive experimental validation of DFC against established baseline models demonstrates its superiority across key performance metrics like accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score. Our results reveal DFC's enhanced ability to interpret and classify intricate domain name data, outperforming traditional models. By fusing multi-dimensional data analysis with advanced deep learning algorithms, DFC sets a new standard in domain name categorization. This research marks a significant contribution to the field, offering an effective solution for domain name categorization and laying the groundwork for future advancements in web content analysis and internet security.

Aiming at recovering an unknown tensor(i.e.,multi-way array)corrupted by both sparse outliers and dense noises,robust tensor decomposition(RTD)serves as a powerful pre-processing tool for subsequent tasks like classification and target detection in many computer vision and machine learning ***,tubal nuclear norm(TNN)based optimization is proposed with superior performance as compared with other tensorial nuclear norms for tensor ***,one major limitation is its orientation sensitivity due to low-rankness strictly defined along tubal orientation and it cannot simultaneously model spectral low-rankness in multiple *** this end,we introduce two new tensor norms called OITNN-O and OITNN-L to exploit multi-orientational spectral low-rankness for an arbitrary K-way(K≥3)*** further formulate two RTD models via the proposed norms and develop two algorithms as the ***,we establish non-asymptotic error bounds which can predict the scaling behavior of the estimation *** on real-world datasets demonstrate the superiority and effectiveness of the proposed norms.
