Recent years have witnessed the abundant emergence of heterogeneous graph neural networks (HGNNs) for link prediction. In heterogeneous graphs, different meta-paths connected to nodes reflect different aspects of the nodes’ properties. Existing work fuses the multi-aspect properties of each node into a single vector representation, which makes them fail to capture fine-grained associations between multiple node properties. To this end, we propose a heterogeneous graph neural network with Multi-Aspect Node Association awareness, namely MANA. MANA leverages key associations among multi-aspect node properties to achieve link prediction. Specifically, to avoid the loss of effective association information for link prediction, we design a transformer-based Multi-Aspect Association Mining module to capture multi-aspect associations between nodes. Then, we introduce the Multi-Aspect Link Prediction module, empowering MANA to focus on the key associations among all, thus avoiding the negative impact of ineffective associations on the model’s performance. We conduct extensive experiments on three widely used datasets from Heterogeneous Graph Benchmark (HGB). One of the problems with Smart Transportation is the problem of cost and travel time. This problem is known as the Variable Routing Problem (VRP). In some real cases, in addition to considering route selection, there are limitations on the capacity and time period for the vehicle to serve each customer known as Time Windows, so VRP has developed into Variable Routing Problem with Time Windows (VRPTW). One way to solve VRPTW is to use metaheuristic methods. However, the metaheuristic method has a weakness, which are it can get stuck in local optimums and fail to find better global solutions. To overcome this, a combination with other methods or known as hybrid is needed. The formulation of this research problem is how to develop a Smart transportation model using a metaheuristic hybrid algorithm. The purpose of this study is to develop a Smart transportation model using a metaheuristic hybrid algorithm. The method used is to combine two metaheuristic algorithms, which are the Dragonfly Algorithm (DA) and the Variable Neighborhood Search (VNS). The result of this research is a new algorithm model which is a hybrid between DA and VNS. Through a combination of global exploration using DA and local exploitation using VNS, this algorithm is expected to be able to find a better solution and faster convergence in solving VRPTW problems © 2024 IEEE.

The design of a 180° output phase difference Wilkinson power divider for L-band applications is detailed in this article. The Wilkinson power is generated through the utilization of the parallel coupler's phase shifter. To showcase the potential of the suggested power divider, an FR4 microwave substrate is fabricated with a narrow band of 1.6 GHz to accommodate radio astronomy systems. The insertion loss, return loss, and isolation loss for the power divider's difference phase are accurately simulated at the operational frequency. © 2024 IEEE.

In this Internet era, we have become heavily dependent on the World Wide Web and it has become a basic amenity for humans. A normal user can be trapped easily in this vicious web if not careful enough. It is a field that requires users to be on their toes every time they try to connect to this enormous interconnection of networks. Reports and Surveys have said that in the coming years, Cybercrime could become the biggest threat. In this proposed work, the authors have deployed applications and designed malware for the purpose of simulating various kinds of cyber-attacks so that they could study their effects & affects and ultimately devise solutions to resolve the vulnerabilities in a system. These applications included networking concepts & protocols and a software based keylogger which was developed with no malicious intent, but to analyse the architectural view or design of a malware and to study the stages of a malware attack like entry, distribution, exploitation, infection and execution. Efforts have been made to demonstrate spooting attacks with an idea of identifying vulnerabilities and security loopholes in a particular system that can be exploited by an attacker if not resolved within time. © 2023 IEEE.

The expected functionality of a single-stage isolated AC-DC matrix converter involves meeting the multifunctional deployment requirements of different AC/DC systems. Its design facilitates bidirectional power conversion while ensuring electrical isolation. Conversely, recent methods have greatly magnified the complexity of modulation and control programs, neglecting in-depth analysis of mathematical models. This paper presents a novel strategy of symmetric-SVM (S-SVM) to operate in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM), which improves performance in DC bias, narrow pulse, and common mode voltage. In addition, an in-depth study was conducted on the precise correlation between vector modulation ratio and three-phase sinusoidal current. The proposed method effectively reduces total harmonic distortion (THD) in three-phase currents and achieves efficient bidirectional power transmission.

This study uses the Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithm to evaluate the network load balance. The main objectives of the ACO are to decrease execution time and achieve a balanced overall distribution of workloads among the network‘s nodes. There are two priorities of the ACO load balancing algorithm which is first is to ensure the number of tasks assigned to each node with the networking environment are as uniform. Next priority is to select a node with the best capabilities to execute a certain task according to the node‘s current pheromone value. Furthermore, the strategy used by the ACO algorithm is to select the most capable node to execute each of the tasks submitted to the network. The simulations and output for the performance of the ACO algorithm were done in the Cloudsim Plus Toolkit. As a result, it indicates that the ACO algorithm is effective to achieve network load balancing and it is able to outperform the Randomized and Round Robin algorithm in all situations and settings.
