We present a dual-flow network for autonomous driving using an attention *** model incorporates (i) The perception network extracts RGB images from the video at low speed as input and fulfills the feature extraction of the images. (ii) Motion network obtains grayscale map from video at high speed as input to complete object motion feature extraction. (iii) the perception and motion networks are fused using an attention mechanism at each feature layer to complete the waypoint *** model is trained and tested using the CARLA simulator and enables autonomous driving in complex urban environments with a success rate of 74%, especially in the case of multiple dynamic objects. © 2022, The Authors. The design of a 180° output phase difference Wilkinson power divider for L-band applications is detailed in this article. The Wilkinson power is generated through the utilization of the parallel coupler's phase shifter. To showcase the potential of the suggested power divider, an FR4 microwave substrate is fabricated with a narrow band of 1.6 GHz to accommodate radio astronomy systems. The insertion loss, return loss, and isolation loss for the power divider's difference phase are accurately simulated at the operational frequency.

In this Internet era, we have become heavily dependent on the World Wide Web and it has become a basic amenity for humans. A normal user can be trapped easily in this vicious web if not careful enough. It is a field that requires users to be on their toes every time they try to connect to this enormous interconnection of networks. Reports and Surveys have said that in the coming years, Cybercrime could become the biggest threat. In this proposed work, the authors have deployed applications and designed malware for the purpose of simulating various kinds of cyber-attacks so that they could study their effects & affects and ultimately devise solutions to resolve the vulnerabilities in a system. These applications included networking concepts & protocols and a software based keylogger which was developed with no malicious intent, but to analyse the architectural view or design of a malware and to study the stages of a malware attack like entry, distribution, exploitation, infection and execution. Efforts have been made to demonstrate spooting attacks with an idea of identifying vulnerabilities and security loopholes in a particular system that can be exploited by an attacker if not resolved within time.

Backdoor Defense with Machine Unlearning

Backdoor injection attack is an emerging threat to the security of neural networks, however, there still exist limited effective defense methods against the attack. In this paper, we propose BAERASER, a novel method that can erase the backdoor injected into the victim model through machine unlearning. Specifically, BAERASER mainly implements backdoor defense in two key steps. First, trigger pattern recovery is conducted to extract the trigger patterns infected by the victim model. Here, the trigger pattern recovery problem is equivalent to the one of extracting an unknown noise distribution from the victim model, which can be easily resolved by the entropy maximization based generative model. Subsequently, BAERASER leverages these recovered trigger patterns to reverse the backdoor injection procedure and induce the victim model to erase the polluted memories through a newly designed gradient ascent based machine unlearning method. Compared with the previous machine unlearning solutions, the proposed approach gets rid of the reliance on the full access to training data for retraining and shows higher effectiveness on backdoor erasing than existing fine-tuning or pruning methods. Moreover, experiments show that BAERASER can averagely lower the attack success rates of three kinds of state-of-the-art backdoor attacks by 99% on four benchmark datasets. © 2022, CC BY-NC-ND.

Optical wireless network has the potential to serve space-space, space-terrestrial/aircraft, aircraft-aircraft, data centers and metropolitan area networks. This paper addresses architecture features necessary for these networks. Free space optical (FSO) networks have two dimensions that are not encountered in fiber networks and that is: (1) its ability to connect without pre-deployment of infrastructures and (2) the ability to reconfigure its connection topology by beam steering in time scales of mS-S to adapt to traffic loads, switching node states and atmospheric conditions. This paper presents a multi-layer approach to optical wireless networks and how the architecture can be tuned to applications.

In order to solve a series of problems in address space and information security of contemporary Internet, Chinese scientists proposed new generation network architecture (IPV9) on the basis of IPv4 and IPv6 research. This paper briefly introduces IPV9 addressing model, address writing, address prefix writing and so on. Compared with IPv4 and IPv6, IPV9 address structure is the most prominent highlight of the IP address length from 32, 128 bits to 2048 bits. At the same time, the method of the variable-length and variable-position is used to reduce the network overhead. In order to solve the network communication security mechanism, the mechanism of first verification and then communication is adopted. Fundamentally solve the problems of insufficient spatial address and information security, and lay a solid foundation for the application and research of the new generation of Internet. © 2019 IEEE.

In multi-cell multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MC MU-MIMO) visible light communication (VLC) systems, each user is equipped with multiple closely-placed photodiodes (PDs) with similar channel gains, leading to severe inter-cell interference and intra-cell interference. To address this problem, this paper proposes a hybrid dimming (HD) scheme with MIMO VLC transceiver design, which jointly optimizes transmit and receive antenna selection (TRAS), cell clustering and precoding (TRASP-HD) for MC MU-MIMO VLC systems. In this scheme, a sum-rate maximization problem under the dimming level and illumination uniformity is formulated and solved by being divided into two sub-problems. In particular, The first sub-problem is on TRAS and cell formation based on the criterion of sum-rate maximization under the illumination uniformity constraint. With the same goal, the second sub-problem is on optimizing the precoding matrices of each cell. Finally, these two sub-problems are iteratively solved to obtain a convergent solution. Simulation results verify that in a typical indoor scenario, the mean bandwidth efficiency of TRASP-HD scheme is 2.36 bit/s/Hz higher than the conventional MC MU-MIMO system.

Due to the limited network address resources of IPv4, which restricts the application and development of the Internet, The Internet Engineering Task Force has designed an IPv6 protocol to replace IPv4. The use of IPv6 solves the problem of the number of network address resources, but its scale also brings difficulties for security detection. For example, the query of massive addresses becomes more complex, making the security protection of IPv6 face challenges. Chinese researchers have proposed a decimal network address architecture, referred to as IPV9. Based on the study of IPv4 and IPv6 address structure, this paper designs the standards of the decimal network address structure, including IPV9 unicast address structure, anycast address structure and multicast address structure, which provides a solid foundation for the later decimal network research. © 2019 IEEE.

Segmenting accurate thyroid nodules in medical ultrasound images is always non-trivial due to the large variation in size, shape and texture of nodules, and also the presence of surrounding tissues and organs with similar intensity values. Existing algorithms solve this by designing multi-scale spatial context modeling modules and introducing the emerging self-attention based paradigm, while failing to learn the class-wise relational context around nodules. To this end, we propose a novel coarse-to-fine framework, namely, CRSANet, which leverages both class-wise relational context and spatial multi-scale context for comprehensive context perception. Specifically, we first introduce the concept of Class Representations, which describe the overall representation of thyroid nodules in ultrasound images from a categorical perspective. Secondly, we propose a backbone-free dual-branch Class Representation Self-Attention Module (CRSA) to refine the coarse segmentation results from segmentation backbones. Concretely, Fine Class Region (FCR) branch is proposed to impose consistency between pixels and their corresponding Class Representations to correct the wrongly classified pixels. Meanwhile, Class Contextual Representation (CCR) branch is introduced to enhance the ability of pixel representations with the corresponding Class Representations. We evaluate the effectiveness and generality of CRSANet using three types of backbone networks. In the experiments, our proposed U-CRSANet achieves a mIoU of 78.86% and 81.35%, an accuracy of 97.11% and 98.63%, a Dice value of 74.26% and 87.57%, respectively, which outperforms most state-of-the-art methods on the public DDTI and TN-SCUI datasets. © 2023, The Authors. Joint source and channel coding (JSCC) for image transmission has attracted increasing attention due to its robustness and high efficiency. However, the existing deep JSCC research mainly focuses on minimizing the distortion between the transmitted and received information under a fixed number of available channels. Therefore, the transmitted rate may be far more than its required minimum value. In this paper, an adaptive information bottleneck (IB) guided joint source and channel coding (AIB-JSCC) method is proposed for image transmission. The goal of AIB-JSCC is to reduce the transmission rate while improving the image reconstruction quality. In particular, a new IB objective for image transmission is proposed so as to minimize the distortion and the transmission rate. A mathematically tractable lower bound on the proposed objective is derived, and then, adopted as the loss function of AIB-JSCC. To trade off compression and reconstruction quality, an adaptive algorithm is proposed to adjust the hyperparameter of the proposed loss function dynamically according to the distortion during the training. Experimental results show that AIB-JSCC can significantly reduce the required amount of transmitted data and improve the reconstruction quality and downstream task accuracy.
