Stunting in toddlers is a chronic nutritional issue that affects the physical and cognitive development of children, with serious long-term consequences such as reduced cognitive function and an increased risk of chronic diseases in adulthood. Therefore, early identification and prevention efforts for stunting are crucial. Classifying toddlers into categories of at-risk for stunting or not is essential to provide timely and appropriate interventions. This study employs data mining techniques using the decision tree algorithm to expedite the stunting detection process and improve the accuracy of nutritional status classification in children. The results indicate that the constructed decision tree model can classify children's nutritional status with an accuracy of 83.26%. The decision tree achieves high accuracy in classifying stunting in toddlers due to its ability to handle complex data and identify significant patterns within the data. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper discusses intelligent constellation generation based on autoencoder communication system. In previous studies, the amplitude was set to fluctuate between r=0.0 and 1.0. However, when checking the generated constellation, distortion was confirmed instead of the conventional symbol arrangement. Therefore, in this paper, it compares the case where the amplitude is constant, the case where the average amplitude within a Minibatch is 1, and the case where the average amplitude is 1 for Interval time. The communication standard used in this research is IEEE 802.11a, assuming wireless Local Area Network (LAN) specifications. The IEEE 802.11a standard has an Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) length of 64, a subcarrier number of 52, and Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) and 16 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM), modulation methods. A guard interval of 800 ns is added and the symbol length is 4000 ns. First, a simulation was performed under the condition that the amplitude was kept constant. QPSK with 4 symbols, constant amplitude model is rounded more than previous research result. 16QAM with 16 symbols is arranged regularly like lined up on a line. Second, the simulation was performed under the condition that the average amplitude within the minibatch was set to 1. QPSK with 4 symbols, appears to rotate clockwise. 16QAM with 16 symbols has a more uniform symbol placement than previous research result. Third, a simulation was performed under the condition that the average amplitude within Interval time was set to 1. QPSK with 4 symbols, is the closest to square among QPSK output results so far. The direction is slightly tilted, but if it can be rotated a little more, it may be possible to reproduce the same symbol arrangement as before. 16QAM with 16 symbols, the symbol arrangement is biased as a whole. This paper proposed Scalability in Autoencoder-based Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM) communication system. In the previous research, only the comparison between IEEE802.11a and Autoencoder by the conventional OFDM communication system was performed, and it was proved that the communication system created by Autoencoder exceeded the performance of the conventional system. Therefore, in this paper, it uses IEEE802.11n and compare whether it can be improved by expanding the bandwidth and using ***802.11n standard has an FFT length of 128, a subcarrier number of 114 (108 for data), and modulation schemes of Quadrature Phase Shift Keying(QPSK), 16 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (16QAM). The GI length is 800ns and the symbol length is 4000ns. In the simulation, a computer simulation was performed using a conventional OFDM communication system and a communication system generated by Autoencoder. Assuming that the simulation environment had an Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) of 0 to 30 and an amplitude r of 0.0 to 1.0, the Symbol Error Rate (SER) status for each SNR was output. As a result of computer simulation, QPSK converged at SNR 27 at IEEE 802.11a, but was able to reduce SER overwhelmingly to SNR 12 at IEEE 802.11n. Also, in 16QAM the convergence at r=0.0 is the same as for SNR22 , but in IEEE 802.11a it does not converge after r=0.6, but in IEEE 802.11n it does not converge only at r=0.9 and r=1.0. As a future task, it will use IEEE802.11ac, which enables communication speeds several times faster than IEEE802.11n, examine whether it is possible to further improve accuracy. And it will continue our research to correspond MIMO communication. © 2023 IEEE.

Diagnosability is an important parameter to measure the fault tolerance of a multiprocessor system. If we only care about the state of a node, instead of doing the global diagnosis, Hsu and Tan proposed the idea of local diagnosis. Chiang and Tan provided an extended star structure to diagnose a node under comparison model. In this work, we evaluate the local diagnosability better by proposing a tree structure around this node. We provide the corresponding algorithm to diagnose the node. Simulation results are presented for different failure probability of a node in the tree and different percentage of faulty nodes in the tree, showing the performance of our algorithm. © 2024 Institute of Information Science. The energy control of a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) often leads to an unbalanced state between the battery storage system, energy extraction through photovoltaic systems energy, and energy utilization in the WSN. These disparities result in suboptimal wireless sensor network performance. The reliance on batteries is a major factor contributing to this problem. The Q-Learning Energy Management System (Q-EMS) is designed to address these challenges and improve energy management strategies. The Q-EMS algorithm used a learning process resulting in optimal actions for sensor nodes in different situations. The rewards or punishments nodes receive determine their decisions, which are determined by the Q-EMS algorithm. The Q-learning model approach is aimed at reducing energy consumption and supply in WSNs. Energy supply is categorized into battery-based, transfer-based, and harvesting, while energy consumption can be classified into task-cycle, mobility-based, and data-driven. The development of the Q Learning algorithm model has three scenarios: determining energy needs for WSN, effective energy harvesting strategy, and effective energy transfer. As a result, effective energy demand, harvesting and transfer using the Q-learning algorithm are balanced. However, it needs to be studied in more depth using real data in the field. In future research, I will use real data and optimize the use of the Q-Learning algorithm. © 2024 IEEE.

Physics-informed neural networks for modeling water flows in a river channel

The impacts incurred by floods regularly affect the planets population, inflicting social and economic problems. Optimal control strategies based on reservoir management may aid in controlling floods and mitigating the resulting damage. To this end, an accurate dynamic representation of water systems is needed. In practice, flood control strategies rely on hydrological forecasting models obtained fromconceptual or data-drivenmethods. Encouraged by recent works, this research proposes a novel surrogate model for water flow in a river channel based on physics-informed neural networks (PINNs). This approach achieved promising results regarding the assimilation of real-data measurements and the parameter identification of differential equations that govern the underlying dynamics. This article investigates PINN performance in a simulated environment built directly from a configuration of the Saint-Venant equations. The objective is to create a suitable model with high prediction accuracy and scientifically consistent behavior for use in real-Time applications. The experiments revealed promising results for hydrological modeling and presented alternatives to solve the main challenges found in conventional methods while assisting in synthesizing real-world representations. Impact Statement-The research seeks to contribute to the hydrological modeling area with a surrogate model based on physicsinformed neural networks (PINNs) to water flow in a watershed. In practice, thesemodels use conceptual or *** models to reach the precision provided by themethodology use large numbers of physical parameters. These parameters can demand deep knowledge about the environment and are possibly hard to identify in a complex basin. Improved IP lookup technology for trie-based data structures

Many Internet protocol (IP) lookup algorithms have been formulated to improve network performance. This study reviewed and experimentally evaluated technologies for trie-based methods that reduce memory access, memory consumption and IP lookup time. Experiments involving binary tries (for simplicity) were conducted on four real-world data sets, two of which were on IPv4 router tables (855,997 and 876,489 active prefixes) and two of which were on IPv6 router tables (155,310 and 157,579 active prefixes). Technologies designed to reduce time taken (at the expense of memory consumption) worked well for IPv4, and those designed to reduce memory consumption worked well for IPv6. Various combinations of these technologies were applied together in the experiments. © 2022 Elsevier Inc.
